I'm just wondering if it's normal for a baby to be kicking at the same spot all the time. For some reason, my little guy wants to kick me hard only on my right upper side under my ribs. I feel some movement in other places, but it's mostly on that one side. I'm thinking that this might be because I sleep on my right side (I know, you're supposed to be on the left, but for some reason I'm so much comfortable on the right), so could that be it? Just wondering! Thanks!

Rachel - how many weeks are you? I'd say if you are in the 30-ish range that is normal - babies get lazy and run out of room so they don't move around so much - my doctor said so long as I feel movement consistently that's what matters the most and I do usually feel it on my right-side like her back is on my left and I sleep on my left side so I am not sure that matters.....don't worry I am sure everything is fine and normal

Rachel my little man was BURIED up in my right rib for the 2nd half of my pregnancy. Although it was nice to have pressure off of my pelvic area (heard that hurts) it was a pain (no pun intended!) I don't envy you! But yes I think it is just fine!

Thanks guys for your responses! I guess they seem to get to a place they like, and stay there! I'm actually 37 weeks now...but measuring 38...YIKES! The doctor says I'm already 2 cm dilated, so it could be any minute! Thanks for setting my mind at ease!
