Yeah I wouldnt have even looked if you didnt say it - cause I had checked before and thought they should have something where you put it in and it tells you specifically for this stimulus ,...and they finally did it! Now lets see if it really goes in monday.. i think if it dont it likely will tuesday cause I know my bank updates tuesdays .. we'll see!

Hey everyone! I work at H&R Block preparing taxes and just wanted to relay what info I have. RMC is correct. If you filed through anybody (not just turbo tax) that took a fee for the filing out of the refund, you'll get a paper check. This is because the third party collected your refund, paid for the fees owing and then distributed the balance to you. SO, unless you paid a fee for preparation/filing with your own money and did a direct deposit into your account (directly from the IRS to your bank account w/o a third party) you will receive a paper check. rmc- maybe thats why i got my refund already mine was free i didnt have to pay to file taxes because i hit the 32000 mark but i had enough earned income credit they did mine for free. (efiling & all that is; i didnt have to pay like my dh he paid 30.99 to file his on turbo tax; we paid credit card tho for his.) STEF- also no i was due on may 9th to receive my money; but i got mine last Friday (but they sent me this thing saying i was one of 800,000 to file my taxes first this year; so we'd receive our stimulus check before everyone else.)

I paid with credit card for mine too so I'll check this morning and then every day this week :)

Lol .. well, I guess I learned my lesson - pay with a credit card next time!

Stimulus Payments are being issued on a schedule according to the last 2 digits of the primary social security number (SSN) shown on your 2007 tax return. If filing or preparation fees were deducted from your 2007 Refund or you received a rapid refund, you will be receiving a check instead of a direct deposit.
