Hey ladies. Well I am due on Friday the 28th, but I feel like she is never going to be born. I am 1cm, 70% and engaged, but I don't feel any different or have any contractions. I have some braxton hicks, but only when I am sitting up too straight. So I really don't count those. It is like my body is not even preparing for this. I know its crazy, but I think man - what if I am the first woman ever to just walk around pregnant forever?!? :) HAHA My sister says she went through the same thing. Any of you ladies too? Going crazy...........

I'm right there with you! I'm due the 30th and 1cm, little to no effacement, but he's way down there. I hvaen't really felt anything different except for the "Toni Braxtons" as my husband calls them. It's just this waiting... Plus I had an u/s this afternoon and the initial weight guess was 9lb 5oz!! The tech kept commenting that he's " really ready to go." Someone tell him that! I'm waiting for the Dr. actually estimate, I hope it's not so big...

I'm due the 27th and am only 1cm and very long. I was going to be induced this Wednesday but the doctor called it off since I wasn't far enough along- UGH! I am getting BH's all the time but the baby is still pretty high. I swear if I don't go before this weekend I'm going to go out in my garden and plant, plant, plant. That's what I did to go into labor with my daughter. :)

hey joy28. we are in the same boat with a big baby too. she was measuring 8 lbs at exactly 38 weeks. Ahhh! Nervous? I posted something about a big baby in the subject line - you should read it. the ladies gave really positive feedback. made me feel better. take care

Well I was due Sunday and I have no new signs to tell me she's coming. My BH have stayed the same for about a month now. Sigh. She'll come eventually-- there's never been a woman who's been pregnant forever. :) Since I see a midwife at a birthing center, she won't induce me either. So I feel ya girls.

Hi Sarah21, how long will you have to go before they'll induce you? I always wanted to wait and let it happen naturally, but I'm so uncomfortable and just ready to see him!! They scheduled me for an inducement April 7th... just incase. My plan for today is to get some food cooked and frozen, then laps around the mall! It can't hurt right?

Hi Joy, I am going to a midwife at a birthing center, so no chance of being induced unless nothing works and I go beyond 42 weeks. At my appointment yesterday she said she doesn't think I'll make it until my next appointment Tuesday, so that was encouraging. I'm hoping for sometime this weekend. I am still working on cleaning up my house after remodeling the bathroom and nursery so that's kept me on my feet. I've pretty much finished, though, so time to sit, do nothing, and get antsy about the delivery...
