Hey Heather, random question, how much did Kaelyn weigh?

7 lbs 5 ozs and she was 20 and a half inches long :)

Wow I feel silly! I saw heather had posted a weight and thought she was talking about christie's baby. I got this big smile on my face then read the actual post LOL

hey everyone - both my kiddos are down. woohoo!!! Levi finally got the latch thing down better and my milk is coming in. He ate a couple of hours ago and went totally limp on me. :) He sure loved having a full tummy. My b___bs still hurt but I'm hanging in there. Levi is such a good baby so far I can't believe it. I'm not going to get my hopes up yet - but I think it would be awesome if he stayed mellow like this. Rachel never gave us a moment of peace - it's so weird to see a baby like this. Hey, with the b___stfeeding, if you want to keep increasing your milk you have to feed more often. Pumping will eventually make your milk dry up if you rely on it. With Rachel I would pump while feeding. Rachel only ate from one side at a time and I had a ton of milk so I pumped and froze it. Ok - someone please tell me about Christie the second she lets us know!!!!

hey Mommies! Sorry I've taken SO long to get on and respod to everyones texts!!! I had my SIL sending texts to ppl bc I had no energy. ;-0 i will post the whole story here hopefully later today after I gwt more shuteye. I need to wake up Dante to feed him at 3 ...thats in an hr..so I want to rest a bit, but i had to get on to let you all know we're doing great! We've had ppl with us ALL day. :-) Anyhow, long storyshort for now....they admitted me last nigh (monday) at 7:30 pk, started Cervadil and then after I ate two packets of cheeze its, I took an AMbien pill and went to bed still 80% effaced, and 1 cm dilated. Woke up around 5ish with mild cramps....menstrual pains...and they gave me pitocin and broke my water at 8 since I was dialted to a 3. Contractions started almost immediately....these were SO intense and coming one right after another...that i ws crying after/during each one. I'm getting too detailed here...gotta save that for the big detailed story later! Anyhow, the epidural saved me and Dante was born after 4 minutes of pushing, at 2:28 this afternoon. He is 6 lbs, 11 oz, and 20 inches long. Looks so much like his daddy--very handsome, but hes got my big asian cut eyes and my lips. :-) We're having trouble getting him to latch on to my b___bs long enough to get anything,and so far theyve had to supplement b___st formula twice. So after teh last failed attmpt at breasfeeding, I asked for a nipple guard to make my nipples protrude more, bc I think theyre a bit flat, and a b___st pump. We are going to get him to latch on. (crosses fingers). His blood sugar has been low bc he hasn't been eating enough, and therefore his temp is a bit low, and he is very sleepy. My bp was normal throughout labor, and Dantes hearrate was never once erratic, but steady. But now my bp is back to being in the 150 - 160 range. Strange...so they're watching me. Could jsut be my body working to get rid of all the extra blood. ANYWHO- this turne dout tobe longer than I planned. I am really exhausted and need sleep. I think I've gotten 4 hrs so far since I woke up at 8am. I'll try to post our story soon!!!!! Miss you all VERY much!

oh christie im sooooo happy for you.congrats hon. im glad your delivery was so short ( 4 minutes, same as mine lol) my LO had trouble b___stfeeding at first too they gave me that nipple thingy and now she eats like a champ.. Im sure Dante will get the hang of it. I cant wait to see pictures and hear the full story :)

I was wondering the same thing!! Are we all ready for the infant forum?! This is my third pregnancy and my hubby is done no more kids for him LOL I am afraid to head over to the infant forum because I know it's the last!! *tear* I am so emotional when it comes to this topic!!

Oh yay christie woooo! I wanna see him! Pictures pictures pictures woman! Sounds like your labor went pretty smooth. I was the same way being induced with the contractions, after they broke my water I was the same way and wanted to curl up in a ball and die. LOL I actually did curl up in a ball and sat on the phone crying to curtis so he was proud I sat there with no meds for ten hours :D I still can't believe we're done only halfway through the month!!

Woo Hoo! Congratulations Christie! I'm sooo happy for you, dh and baby dante! that is awesome chickie momma! don't fret about the bf thingy... it will work out it just take time! i can't wait to see pictures! rest dear and give us the details when you get a chance! *hugs*
