Ok quick birth story. I was laying in bed on 01Sep08 with my dh and I got up to use the restroom. We had just got home from a nice long drive and I had been feeling slight contractions all day. Anyways, went to the bathroom and all of a sudden I felt a gush. Unfortunately it was a gush of blood and not amniotic fluid like I thought. We called my doctor and I went to the hospital immediately . My doctor determined that my placenta was detaching early (Iwas 37w6d) so I had to go in for an emergency c-section. I was prepped for surgery and at 0139 am my little miracle baby made his debut (all 5 lbs 3 1/2 oz and 17 1/2 inches) He's tiny, but healthy and GORGEOUS. Hope all of you are well. take care
