May Mommies Getting Closer

So, ladies. One month to go and then its our month! Can you believe it? How is everyone doing? BF and I are starting to get nervous at the arrival of our little one. It feels so surreal that this pregnancy is almost over, and I think it will seem even closer after we have our childbirth cla__s on saturday. Its an all day thing at the hospital. I really wanted to try some of those newer methods like Bradley or Hypnobirthing and such, but theres not really anything in this area. Every time I get a stomach ache (I think its part of BH contractions. I seem to get one every morning when I wake up. Weird!) I think "oh god. I can't do this" but I swear, when I had to go to the ER because of my uterus "quivering" it was totally different. It felt the same, but I handled it completely differently. So, I'm hoping thats a good sign that things wont be quite as horrible as i'm imagining. Okay... enough babbling now!

I'm still in the hospital but wanted to give you guys a quick update. Yesterday, I was able to begin putting her to the b___st (I've been pumping and bringing in anything colostrum that I can collect until my milk comes in). Just holding her and watching her begin to learn how to b___stfeed has been truly amazing. She's doing so well! The nurses didn't expect her to begin b___stfeeding so soon. She was only introduced to feedings (b___st supplemented with formula until she gets the hang of it) just yesterday. Today, she's been b___stfed 4 times and has increased her formula supplemental intake as well. We're truly hoping and praying that she will be able to come home within the next week or two. I really don't want to have to spend my entire maternity leave in the hospital. I will definitely post pics online when I get home and have a little more time. When that happens, I'll post the website for you guys. Good luck to you all, and I'll keep checking in on you!!!

Hi all, how is everyone doing?? Chatty I know what you mean about getting nervous, its like wow its going to happen soon. Before it was like oh I have till May now its I am due next month. Wow next month guys. We are going to be moms next month. Does anyone else feel like there is a ton left to do? Friday my doctor told us to go ahead and get our bag ready. That just made it go smack! Chatty have you moved to your new place yet or is that not until May? I am sooo happy for yo Jairia, your little Trinity sounds like she is doing remarkable!!! I hope they let her go soon too, I bet you are so ready to see your own home again after such a long time being in the hospital. The funniedt thing happened to me last night.... I was sitting on the couch watching a movie and my tummy about where her b___t is just started vibrating, like someone put a cell phone there. I shocked the heck out of me because I didnt know what happened, then it did it again. Now guys it felt like she was farting, I have no idea if that is possible or not but thats what it felt like. Didnt hurt I just put my hand there, it was the craziest thing ever!! Anyone else have that happen?? What is it? Well i suppose i should actually do something...like work but i am so d__n tired I dont want to. So who is next to start the new thread??? Just wondering this one is pretty longh and we cant exactly have June or July moms beating us, we have been here longer dangit ;-)

Hey guys, my parents were over in the w-e and we received the furniture on Saturday so we set up the nursery. I'm kinda freaking out, just to realize it's REALLY coming soon now. 32 days to go for me. Unbelievable. I'm seeing the OB tomorrow, and I know for sure this time that my uterus has grown because since 2-3 days I can hardly breathe anymore, and the pushes from the bum are in my ribs! WOW, just feeling more miserable by the day! It wasn't bad at all until now! My thighs are also really tired all the time fom the extra weight! wv_red: I never had that happened, but I'm sure it's nothing to worry about! I'm getting the StrepB swab tomorrow and hopefully the doc will tell me that my l/o is in the right position. Please please please! HOwever, she had told me before that she doesn't really bother checking the position until 36-37 weeks. Anyhow ladies, I'm the one who will start the new thread!
