Mother S Day

I have always respected my mom, but being on my way to being a mother myself I now realize just how much I was taking her for granted. This Mother's Day I really want to let her know that I am so grateful for everything she has done for me. I have been bending over backwards trying to find the perfect Mother's Day gift for her. I want it to be perfect, something she will absolutely love. I have already started writing her a letter about how much I appreciate her and how I'm not afraid to be a mother because everyone says you always raise your kids like your parents raised you. That probably scares some people but it makes me really happy. I wanted to top the letter off with a really nice, unique gift. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks :)

honestly, I think the letter would be a perfect gift in itself! when I had my dd I totally appreciated my mother and understood how hard it is to raise a child - and to worry about them for the rest of your life! They are always your baby! Do you have a nice photo of the two of you? Maybe you could frame it or put a copy of the letter with the frame - I don't really know! As a mom, it's the little things that matter most. :)Even though my dd is only 20 months old I know that there's nothing more special she could do for me than just telling me she loves me> :)
