Rough Sandpaper Nipples Anyone

Hi,
Just wanted to know if anyone else out there has found that they're nipples have gotten rough, like sandpaper at the tip/flat part on the end of the nipple. Mine have and I thought it was strange. Please share. Thanks.

Sounds like they are getting dry. I would go get some Lanisoh ointment and put that on a couple of times a day. You can usually find it in the baby isle at the grocery store, and for sure at Babies"R"Us in the b___stfeeding section. Don't wash there with soap either. You really don't want to start out b___stfeeding with nipples that are already dried out. Lanisoh, is the best and it doesn't have to be washed off before a feeding and will not clog the ducts either. Never put vaseline on them.
