Hi, I'm almost 37 weeks and am wondering if it's true that you go into labour earlier with your second pregnancy. I was 38 weeks with my DD when my water broke,

HI I'd love to know the same thing! Unfortunatly, everyone is different...with my first I went into labor on my due date (2 years ago)...well second pregnancy, I was due yesterday..and nothing as yet! I thought she would have come by now. I am trying to be patient but rather over it now to be honest.
Let me know when it happens for you anyway, it's interesting to see what happens with different pregnancies...good luck!

I also forgot to say that 2 of my good friends both had thier first babies at 38 weeks...and the second baby- one had one her due date..and the other friend went 4 days over her due date.

I think everyone is different so its hard to say. My ds1 was born at 39w6d and ds2 was born at 39w3d. I guess technically earlier but not by much. I can say that my 2nd labour was a breeze compared with the first.

My first came at 37 weeks 6 days and second at 36 weeks 1 day. Labor was exactly the same for me, water trickled at home, gave me pitocin which eventually led to the epidural, short pushes and small healthy babies.
