I am 37 weeks and today I felt some strange heartbeat like movement at my upper abdomen, feels like adult heartbeat and it was about 60-70 times a minute. It was stronger and smoother than hiccups. Did anyone else experience this? Thanks!

i got that feeling like 2 weeks ago. I have no clue what it was..and the docs had no explanation...could jsut be our own pulse rate increasing...you can feel it in your stomach...because there is a pulse point there...lol...weird

With my first pregnancy I remember being able to watch my pulse at that exact spot. It is strange, but nothing abnormal.

the main artery of the body - the aorta - runs down the abdomen. with increased blood volume, you may be able to see the pulse of this artery. I have seen and felt this also, even before I was pregnant

i experiance that everyday all day especially when i lay on my back......but heres the weird part....it has been happening for YEARS...not only since i've been preggers i think its like a pulse or something....so nothing to be worried about
