I am 33weeks pregnant. I am in preterm labor and have had 2 shots of Betamethazone to speed up the baby lung development. I also have a history of delivering early, this is my 5th csection. My question is I just went pee and after i wiped i noticed a yellowish geletin on the toilet paper..what is it part of my plug? This is new to me, thanks!

I would say it is possible but this far along in your pregnancy it is normal to have more discharge than the beginning stages of your pregnancy. If it is your mucus plug then the discharge should keep coming thick may possibly have a brown tint. Just keep and eye on it and if you get concerned, I would call your ob. Good luck.

It could be part of your plug, but it keeps regenerating itself until your body is ready for labor. I wouldn't be too worried about it unless you started leaking fluid, or if the mucous was brown, pink or red. (Had blood in it.) Most likely, it's nothing, but if it worries you, call your ob. It is normal to be getting the yellowish mucous at this stage though. Good luck!
