ERICA- What a little stinker you've got there. Head up at the last minute. lol Makes you wonder how she even managed that manuver at this tight point, huh? GL tomorrow. I'll be thinking of you. DH and I thought last night might have been our night. I started having contractions that were about 10 minutes apart and lasting 45 sec-1min. This went on for almost 2 hours. I went to bed and only had cramping (PMS like) and alas, I'm still here this morning. BTW, I am in Texas (just northwest of San Antonio). Thankfully we having gorgeous weather, if you don't mind the windiness).

ERICA: I was thinking about you after I woke up from my nap and I was wondering what the outcome of your dr.s appointment was.. now i know. I am so so so so excited for you. I cant believe that Hannah will be here tomorrow. Wow.. a c section can be scary.. but try to relax. Its going to go wonderful. I myself have had 2 and my 3rd will be next thursday. Ive had 2 really really good experiences. I got to hold my babies right after they were born both times. They used a spinal which was amazing.. and I didnt feel a thing. Afterwards they will give you pain meds for your incision, and the best thing I can tell anyone is GET UP AND WALK as soon as they let you. With both of my girls I was up walking within 6 or so hours of thier birth. It just leads to a much faster recovery. Anyway. Im over the moon excited for you.. and if you have n e questions about the c section make sure you email me at kristin_mosherAThotmail.com and Ill be happy to help. Melissa: Congrats on being totally effaced.. thats a plus.. and VAL sorry that things are slowign down with the baby coming.. The last part of pregnancy is so difficult.. for me for sure. The itchiness and my back are killing me. My legs are soo soo sore from me itching them. Im thankful that the doctor prescribed some benadryl but.. i dont dare to take it.. how sad is that. I went all the time without even a tylenol and then to introduce him to benadryl.. i dunno. K2: I used to have those breakdowns when I ws pregnant with Brianna. It was nothing that my dh ever said it was looking at my body go to some crazy size. YOu should have seen me when I went to leave the hospital... I cried all the way home, because I ws just soooo sure that my pre pregnancy clothes were going to fit.. and they just didnt. Talk to you girls in a while. ~Kristin~

Thank You so much Kristin you have put me at ease!! Maybe she will rotate back around before the surgery, but I'm not counting on that one! I'm just numb to know tomorrow is the day i get to hold baby Hannah! Her b-day will be messed up, maybe we will celebrate in her edd. Only a week for your delivery!

I have been so crampy and spotting a little ever since my appt this morning. How long does this last after getting checked?? Today was my first. I feel almost like asking if I can go home early and lay on the couch with the heating pad.

cayingo - February 28

The cramping and spotting, for me, last for a day or two sometimes. After yesterday';s visit my OB said she did a bit of a membrane sweep (not a full b__wn one though) so I had more bleeding than in the past. I'm sure that's what all the contractions were from last night.

ERICA - congrats on the birth of Hannah tomorrow how exciting take Kristins advice i did as well last week and though i was scared as hell it went sooooo smoothly and the spinal DIDNT HURT one bit that was my biggest fear and i promise the IV hurt worse than that spinal also like Kristin mentioned GET UP AND WALK ASAP they wont let you do it tomorrow but they will the next day and take full advantage you will recover SO QUICKLY i am a week since the section and i went to my OB today and was already give the ok to drive he said he couldnt believe how well i have healed and am doing be determined the more you move the better you will feel i promise you that its going to be great ((HUGS)). K2 - i am sorry that DH made you sad but as you know he didnt mean it your pregnant you should be bigger than you were dont worry it will be over soon and then the fun really begins. VAL - after every internal i would get VERY crampy and BH would start the crampiness and BH lasted for several hours then they subsided.

YEAH Erica!! Congrats on the soon to be birth of Hannah. I am sure everything will go perfecto. Let us know how everything went and is as soon as you are up to it. We will all be thinking of you. We are all thinking of April today wondering how it all went. The suspense is so crazy. I am hoping I get to go soon too. I have an appointment tomorrow and hopefully the doc gives me some good news that I am progressing. GL and we are thinking of you.

Sorry missing in action again for a little while but exciting news in my e-mail inbox: BRANDY HAD HER BABY!!! She sent me a two line e-mail from her blackberry: Little Ford was born Feb 27th at 1am and she will e-mail pics ASAP. Congratulations Brandy!! Astra definitely sounds like your little one has dropped-- I had the same type of thing happen. K2, Mel's mom is supposed to send me an e-mail update and as soon as I get it I'll be sure to forward it. Erica, congrats on the c-section tomorrow! I will be praying all goes smoothly for you. Sadie congrats on the progress! We'll be watching for your birth story!! Melissa that is really cool about the placenta. I'm glad you're willing to give it up for a good cause. Some people can be stingy about things they don't need just because it came from their body. Mahagen, you asked where people are from... well I am from the Ft. Hood area in Central Texas in the central time zone. It's about an hour north of Austin. And yep, K2, Val, we're in this together chicas! I'm due the 24th. Now as far as looking way pregnant... people are still hesitant to ask if I'm pregnant. At breakfast this morning the waitress said she was wondering if I was pregnant but couldn't tell until I put my hands on my belly and then she asked when I was due and she was shocked I have less than a month left. I don't feel like I have a small belly but I guess it looks like I do. I did polish my toenails myself Tuesday so it can't be THAT big. Hehe. I am so ready to get this baby out. Even my b___t muscles feel sore. How strange is that? I have been having fewer contractions lately though so I know she's not anywhere near ready to come out. Dang it! I want her OUT! I guess I should just get used to it. This may be TMI but is anyone else finding that their wiping technique after you potty is different? I'm finding it hard to reach around the belly enough to get the job done well. Just something they don't tell you when you get pregnant. And ohmy goodness I feel Claire's little b___t so clearly now. I think I can almost feel a crack in it or something. Weird weird weird. Hopefully she doesn't decide to pull a Houdini like Hannah. Crazy! That could be Hannah's nickname though, Houdini. Hehe. Anyway I am going to try to go to bed early and see if I actually get some sleep. It seems like I can't sleep for 3-4 nights and then I sleep like a rock the next two out of exhaustion. It's getting old (and painful)... Oh and one last thing before I go: I finished painting the bathroom and did a colorwash on top of my plastering job and it looks fantastic! It looks like I hired an Italian to come do my walls. So Tuscan-like. I love it!!

Astra - February 29

Good morning ladies. Sarah you are my hero. The bathroom sounds fantastic! You are a multi talented lady. Yes i certainly notice a difference in wiping technique in the loo...you funny girl! it's true there is a lot they don't tell you about pregnancy. Congratualtions Brandy!!! how exciting, look at us not even in March and so many babies already...I feel like you Sarah, I think my little guy is here till the end... I'm still struggling through my cold, but I do feel better so I might actually be able to be productive today and not just lay around. Last night we went to an open meeting with an anesthesiologist at our hospital. There were other preggie couples there and he gave a presentation and then we all asked tons of questions, manily separating fact and fiction about epidurals. I salute all you ladies going natural, however I'm not quite convinced aobut myself so having all that information was really great. Especially how epidurals have changed over the years, side effects and safety issues. I'm feeling more relaxed that if I do need an epidural I can get one and not stress about it.

mahagen - February 29

Good morning to all my ladies today. It's going to be a great leap day!! Yeah, babies and lots of memories! Sarah, thanks for the pic of Erica and her little Hannah in her belly for the last time. Such a cute picture. Erica again we are all thinking about you and praying everything goes perfect for you. Congrats to Brandy!! Astra, that is awesome that places offer an informational meeting to get the insite of things that can be scary like anesthesia. I am glad you got the 411 on the epidural because I know I was forever scared of it and many other woman were to because they would hear horror stories prior to their deliver. I had my first 2 naturally with out anything and my last one was with an epidural since she breech and we did the version which was sucessful. I loved the epidural and wished I had time for it I had my first 2. I go very fast when it comes to babies naturally. I have my babes within 2-4 hours but my last delivery was 10 hours because I came in with active labor and they had to stop it to do the version so of course baby was going to wait until another day, lol. It all worked out though and no pain!!! Thanks and hope to be chatting later ladies.

Happy Leap Day everyone! Thinking baout you ERICA as you get set to have Hannah. GL! Congrats BRANDY! Ford is here and doing well. AM I right? Dos that put us at 6 new mommies? Or 7? We're all moving along at a nice clip. I have been having pretty regular contrations starting around dinner time the past couple nights, but they slow down when I get to bed. Guess we're just practicing some more. This a.m. though EVERY TIME I've used the bathroom (and YES, I too have a hard time reaching around myself to get to the back when I potty) I have had globs of blood tinged mucous. Usually it was only 1-2 times a day. Today is lots and lots. It's gross. As anxious as I am tohold Reece in my arms, I want him to wait through today. I don't want a Leap Day baby.

val_jo - February 29

Good morning ladies. I don't think I'll have to worry about the leap year baby today--nothing going on here. That's fine though, I'm kinda partial to March's birthstone!!!! Congratulations Brandy!!!! I can't believe how fast this is all happening...it's like Monica went and just started a chain reaction!!! Maybe all of us late ones will go early too....RIGHT!!!!! I'll probaby be joining the April group with my 9lb baby!!!! Oh well, I guess as long as I feel fine I shouldn't complain. Sarah--the wiping issue---yeah me too!!!! Crazy how everything changes while your pregnant. I actually slept well last night...amazing how you feel after getting some sleep. Anyways, hope you all are having a good day... I'll check in later to see if we've heard anything from April...has anyone talked to her???

cayingo - February 29

VAL- I know that February's birthstone is the amethyst, but what is March's birthstone?

val_jo - February 29

It's aquamarine. It's a very subtle light blue color....which is perfect for a baby boy!!!!!

cayingo - February 29

That sounds very pretty.
