hey again everyone! Yes im still here (bummer!) hehehe....every morning i say that to myself hoping for something more to happen! lol.... Wow Sarah - i dont know where you find energy. I have absolutely zero energy ! My nesting phase basically involved telling my husband where to move/clean everythinng! hahaha. But hes been wonderful. I cant even drive anymore it hurts so much to move my legs, so dh is my taxi when i want to go to shops hehe.... Monica - my official due date is March 8th, but all u/s have bub 2 weeks earlier , and seeing as hes loving banging my cervix these days, im hoping he wants out as much as i want him out! :) Mahagen - good to hear from you again...its been a while :) Its nice to have everyone together for the finale!!! Also glad im not the only grumpy uncomfortable one here! hahaha.

CHRIS- How dilated did your Ob say you are you today? Weren't you 2cm at last week's appt? Isn't this waitin game a b___h? I am 37 weeks today, and have my appt Thursday. I was 2.5cm and 90% last Wed., and EXPECT to be at least 3.5cm this time. My contractions have certainly increased altho nothing too painful. My biggest complaint right now is the fatigue by day's end. I feel like I could fall asleep by 7pm. SARAH- HOW do you how the energy to do those kinds of work around your house? I feel like my nesting here at home was done in Dec., and my MAJOR nesting has happened in my cla__sroom getting ready for my 12 week sub. I would NEVER have the enrgy to to refinish the walls. ANyone else's appit_te really decreasing? I just am not as hungry as before. I have been tryin gto snack on healthy things thruout the day to aid in the intestinal issues, but thatnkfully that hasn't been as bad as it was last weekend which just about killed me. I took milk of magnesia and had a few fantastically productive bowel movements (sorry-tmi). I've felt even better today than yesterday. Yea!

ive not had an internal with my OB so no idea how dilated, he just feels around my abdomen and from my description tells me baby is fully engaged and my body is ready now but could be anywhere from now til 2 weeks from now!! Guess they dont bother over in Aus as most of my friends never got internals either... Ive had some good bowel movements too in last few days (rare coz all pregnancy it was soo rare and random haha)...maybe another sign? and yea,appet_te is WAY down in 3rd Tri than what it was...

WOW thank you all for the warm nice welcome. Some might remember me from the beginning then I had a lot going on and had not posted for a long time but I am definitely back. Thanks for remembering me too. Such a nice welcome and I just told a couple girls that are due in March to come to this thread because everyone is so nice. Looks like I wasn't just saying it. Love you all!!!
My husband is excited to have his non grouchy wife back and can't wait for the baby. I tell him about our talks and chatting all the time and he laughs saying I am just happy you have other who are in the same situation you are in and I can talk to them about everything. Since we have moved I don't know anyone around here so its nice to have long distance friends. Great ladies!!! Thanks again!

Wow I feel like such an amazing woman, hehehe. Really I don't know where the energy comes from other than sheer panic that at the most I have about 5 weeks until she's here. Then life is over. Plus boredom is a great motivator. As for appet_te I get really hungry a lot and have recently been able to eat a lot more than I was able to for a while. Chris, I don't get any internals until I'm in active labor either. My midwife says she can't tell a whole lot from it so she doesn't want to risk infection or bug me with it. She also does as few as possible in labor because she said it really disrupts the flow of labor once I get into my groove. She said it really puts people back into the numbers mindset and they start calculating hours and contractions again instead of relaxing, taking it easy, and concentrating on one thing at a time. I guess I'm glad because I don't really want fingers up there all the time. :) Mahagen, these boards have been a life-saver! I keep missing the pregnancy waves here with my real-life friends. I got pregnant while they had 2-month olds, and now a new wave of friends are either pregnant or actively trying. I just can't win! It definitely helps to have others to talk about things with. I'm sure my DH appreciates it since it means I don't have to bombard him with the news of bowel movements or lack thereof, and all that good stuff. I'd probably gross him out.... hehe. Well gonna go see what DH is up to.

Sarah, my baby shower is this Saturday. Me and two of my sisters in laws are all having a ma__sive baby shower together, and I'm hoping we can get our baby bellies together one last time for a final shoot. But my instincts is telling me that Hannah is coming in the next couple of days. I'm still in a lot pain from the sweep, and the weird thing about this is why did my ob do this when my edd is in 2 weeks? April - Hope your holding yourself together, It;s a real news flash when told baby will soon be here in the next week. Hang in there and girls we are getting so really close to being mommies! I'm so happy for us! Erica

Yes I love these boards and I have even told other pregnant friends, coworkers and family about them so they can get on too. This is my second baby that I have been on this board with and it has been awesome both times. Its nice to have people to talk to that are going through the same motions and stuff you are and it is also nice to not give our husbands/significant other TMI of the pregnancy stuff that they wouldn't care to hear much of, lol. I'm sure they wouldn't really mind but I am also sure they are glad to let us talk to other women about it then them. Hope everyone is feeling ok and good luck to those who have appointments today. I have one!!!

Hi guys. Sarah I know what you mean, I'm also pretty busy with projects (though not quite as physical as you!). I am also starting to feel that time is running out. Luckily we are almost done and very soon I will run out of things to do and will be bored and nervous waiting. As for hunger I still have moments of starvation, as I type I am also inhaling a large bowl of cereal, yogurt and fruit. My poor digestive system can't handle too much so I try to load on the veggies and water but I can't help it if I still want to eat like an elephant at times...
MahagenThis forum and particulalry this group has been such a lifesaver for me, especially since I left my work so early, it really feels like a window to the world and such a friendly supportive community too.

K2 - In answer to your question, the reason they're talking about inducing is b/c he's small and the dr is concerned that he's not getting enough nutrition in there. Though, since he's pa__sed all of his BFP's and NST's with flying colors AND the doppler of his cord was good, I'm a little hesitant to evict him so soon. I'm not sure what we're going to do. Dh and I have been discussing it non-stop. I'm going on 39 weeks, so I'm hoping I'll go into labor before next week and not have to make a decision - ha, fat chance! Sarah, you are a machine as far as nesting goes - I'm impressed! My nesting has run out of steam. I have zero desire to clean these days. Everything's pretty much done, anyway. Melissa, my appet_te is down, too AND I have had some terrific bowel movements lately - a good sign? It's great we can talk about this stuff. It's been a lifesaver to talk to y'all about everything - makes me feel less crazy and isolated, since I don't have any other pregnant women around me in person. I love y'all! - April

Hi girls, I'm back from L&D and Hannah is staying put for a while longer. I'm now 3cm and contractions has stopped. Last night i was having back to back contractions with back aches for 2 1/2 hrs, so L&D wants me to keep an eye on those contractions and baby movements. I'm so happy to be back home and I want Hannah to come in March as plan!! Erica

Hi Ladies,
I just wanted to say hello and let you know that I thought I had an appointment today but unfortunately I don't have my appointment until Friday afternoon at 5:15pm. I was so bummed that I messed up on the date because right now I can barely sit or stand with out pain due to my left hip acting up. I am not quit sure what the deal is but it just feels like its locked up. It hurts really bad. I tried to stretch it, rotate it and twist it alittle but nothing is helping. If you have any other ideas it would be great. I was about to cry when I realized my appointment wasn't until Friday, pregnacy emotions and anxious to hear good news to have the baby already or something. At least by Friday I will be exactly 37 weeks along. Hope everyone is hanging in there and your day is going well.

OH yea I second April on the appreciation to have your all to chat with too. I don't have anyone pregnant and really don't know anyone even close by to talk too so this is great. It really relieves stress and some of the anxiety of waiting for our little ones to arrive. I love that we all can whine, bicker and ask questions about everything and anything even if its TMI because we are all going through the same thing and love to be there for eachother!!!!

Good morning everybody. Anybody go into labor due to the full lunar eclipse? I guess we'll see! I am so so so so happy. I found my roller pole at my mom's house yesterday! YES! I am slightly worried at my total excitement about it though. April I didn't realize you were already nearly 39 weeks. That makes the decision to induce or not to a little more difficult since the time is already so close that Jack will decide to come on his own. Erica, sorta glad you are still pregnant. Maybe you'll have to make it to March with the rest of us true, good March Moms (just kidding). Speaking of early birds, ROBYN! I NEED PICTURES! Mahagen, I totally hear you about the disappointment about your appointment. I get disappointed with appointment changes, too. Unfortunately since my midwife works all her births there are a couple times when my appointments have been changed to better accommodate her schedule. I don't care how many times I get to hear that heartbeat I still look forward to it every time. That happened to me this week-- my appointments are usually every other Wednesday but she switched it to after our birthing cla__s Saturday. Oh well. Just more time to look forward to it. So Saturday will be all baby stuff-- birthing cla__s in the morning, then appointment, then baby shower! Woohoo! My hostesses are getting my pack-n-play and it will be a big relief to get that in the house and set up and ready to go. We will have more babies here soon! I still can't believe that one will really be mine. Yikes. No one to blame for her bad behavior but myself, heh heh.

I have not gone into labor but i do have an appointment today which is a great thing because i just went to the restroom and i have having some blood. NOT ALOT OF BLOOD or clotting type of blood but i did notice some blood.. it is pink with red and i had (SORRY TMI ALERT) but i took some toilet paper and stuck it inside to see if it was still bleeding in there and i did have blood... like i said NOT ALOT but some blood and now i'm having some consitant cramps... not like come and go it is more of a consistant cramp.... so we'll see what my dr says at my appt... i called the nurse and left a message just to be sure that everything will be okay to wait until then to come in... i was having major shooting pains in the cervix last night... with some cramping last night and some light back cramps but they did go away last night... so we'll see what the dr says when i go in! I'll be sure to come back and post after my appointment!

K2 - Wow, it sounds like your lo could be on the way! I can't wait to hear back from you! Erica - congrats on the 3cm. 'Sounds like you could be not far off, either. I hear ya on the March thing. For some reason having nothing to do with logic, I'm sort of attached to the idea of Jack being born in March, not Feb. Sarah - You made me laugh about your excitement in finding your roller pole. I've used them, though, and they are nice! Mahagen - I'm right there with you on the crying. I only thought I was moody a couple of months ago. Now, I can't seem to concentrate on anything that doesn't have to do with the baby, the slightest thing makes me teary-eyed and I'm absurdly grumpy about things like traffic. I guess it's natural to be a little distracted when you might be a mommy next week! - April
