i like charlotte! i think its pretty. and it sounds sophisticated! who cares what others think, she's YOURS. unless the name is just way way out there i don't ever think nothing about what somebody elsenames their kid. sb, i would still want to be in the babys life tho, be kept up with it, and visit, i couldnt just give it up and never see it again, thats for sure, but i know i would be giving someone a gift from God that they couldn't get themselves, and i would feel really good doing it.

Eliz, I love Charlotte. It is old fashioned, but that's what I like about it. Patty, I imagine you with a kinda Southern, downhome, girl next door name for your baby. Like Savannah, Caroline, Molly or something like that. I still love Ryann though. Just start crying. Maybe that'll make him cave. I don't think I could be a surrogate either, but I heavily considered being an egg donor, buuuuttttt in the midst of filling out the paperwork, I got pregnant. I will probably do it after C though because I know I have good eggs and I am thankful for that, so I want to pa__s it on. I am a bottomless pit too! I ate a Dairy Queen oreo blizzard yesterday. As bad as this sounds, I just don't care! I am one of those women that gains 40 lbs while pregnant. Period-nothing I can do about it! So I'll probably deliver in the 180's, 190's. No biggie! Gabby, what kind of dog is Ruby, besides freakin adorable? Oh yeah, where's your belly pic!?

gabbi! im miserable right along with you! i can't sleep and when i can, i have to go pee all night, and during the day if i clean too much, then i hurt the rest of the day. and did i mention im TIRED. only 10 more weeks to go! last night i laid on my side and she didn' tlike it at all, she rolled and kicked and i kept trying to change my position a little to accomodate her, but she wasn't having none of that, lol. i can't hardly sleep on my left side, i cant breathe as well for some reason. maybe shes squishing my lung, lol.

Alicia, EVERYTIME I tell people we are naming the baby Creedence the first words outta their mouth are "Like Clearwater?" So I beat them to it and say "We're naming her Creedence, yes like Clearwater." But I figured in 20 years people her age won't make the connection.

Thanks guys. i feel better. to me charlotte feels right, (although my hubby likes alexis better) ive gained quite a bit of weight too. i was hoping to stay under 35 pounds, but at my last visit i think i was already around a 20 pound gain. so i have 15 left and still have 14 weeks left if i go to 40 weeks. soooo, im thinking screw it. i know ill be dieting after the baby (im a bridesmaid 6 weeks after my due date) so im just gonna eat what i want while i can.

whew, i haven't cut the gra__s in years! i am pooped, lol. but good exercise! i've gained around 30 so far and all of it after 16 weeks! how sad :(

So I see everyone sharing their weight gain. It made me feel like maybe I'm not gaining enough. I'm 27 weeks and have only gained 11 pounds (although 8 of those were this last month!). I still figure that will leave me having gained about 25 pounds by the time it's all said and done.

My cousins wife is 32 weeks and she has only gained 3lbs. She lives out of state and I only speak with her over email and I am shocked she has only gained 3lbs. She said she had lost some at first due to morning sickness but all and all only 3lbs... I wanted to shoot her...lol. jk. I have only gained 14lbs but i get weighed again tomorrow and i am sure it will be up.

I know I suck at keeping y'all updated in the posts, but I read your posts almost everyday if it makes you feel any better. I went to the doc this past Monday. My total weight gain is up to 25 lbs, but it's all belly!!! My friends have even noticed that my weight is reproportioning itself. My face, b___t, and hips are smaller now than pre-pregnancy. I still have more than my share though. Anyway, Brynley is doing great. She let me sleep (off and on) for almost 10 hours last night. WooHoo!!! I've only been sleeping around 5-6 for the past couple of weeks. This past weekend, my mom and I went to visit my grandmother because she hadn't been feeling to well, and I don't get to see her that often anyway. Well, my mom has kept her posted on my pregnancy and everything, so when we got there, she was like come on I have something to show you. She likes going to yard sales and estate sales, and she found a woman trying to sell all of her baby's outgrown clothes. She bought more than 120 outfits at 3 for a $1. The sizes range from 0-3m to 24m. I was stunned. Some of the dresses still had tags on them. So, now I'm telling everyone not to buy me clothes at all. I tell them diapers and baby care products. I haven't had a shower yet, but I've been given so many clothes that I'm already going though them and sharing them with other preggos in our family.

oh yeah, I got Keith to finally take a belly pic today before work. I am 29 weeks exactly. I will try to post in on myspace tonight if I don't forget. To me, my belly doesn't look like it changed all that much. I refuse to show skin though, I have Brynley to thank for some very flashy, not-so-becoming, stretch marks. I had a few before due to a weight gain a few years back, but they weren't noticeable anymore. Brynley decided to make new ones!!!! I can't help but love her though!!!

Morning ladies!! Wow 7 KIDS!! That is definatley steralization producing thoughts!! Lol!! How are the kitty's adjusting to the move?? Leah - it is great to hear from you!! Glad to hear that all is going well and sounds like you've got lots of clothes already!! I have a pretty good stock too, but I can't put any into the drawers, because one look and hubby will know that it is a girl!! So I ahve only put a few sleepers in that are unis_x colors!!! ANd just think how many more clothing items you will probably get for a shower gift once baby is born!! Now I understand why people say babies never wear out clothes!! Thye only wear things once or twice!! :) My mom and I are going to see this huge show tonight called "walking with Dinosuars" It si suposed to be an amazing show with these life size mechanical dinosaurs that walk and roar and do all the things dinos did. Very excited!!:) My belly feels very full and thick today. Weird.

Patty, it's kinda cool your husband doesn't know what ya'll are having. Although I imagine it's VERY difficult to keep it a secret. He is just gonna break down like a baby when she is born. That must take some will power for him. Has he always said he didn't want to know? Or did he decide later on? My cats are adjusting surprisingly well. I have a gate up at the end of the hallway from our section of the house and at night if I am in the main area of the house one of my cats, Jack, sits there and cries. He is my social b___terfly, so he doesn't like being kept away from the going-ons. I have been sleeping SO good though ever since I've been there. Not sure if its the stress relief or the comfy bed. :-) Or I could just be completely flat out exhausted from not stopping from 5:30 in the morning until 8:00 at night. Yeah, that might be it!

ekay03 - May 22

I felt extremely large yesterday, by the way. When I wake up I feel so small, but by the evening time I feel like she is lying perpendicular to me. She is being quite today which is making momma nervous. I just keep telling myself she's sleeping because she's growing.

You know, at the beggining I did not want ot find out the s_x of the baby at all. But hubby said he was on a need to know basis and really wanted too. SO he convinced me to find out and come the ultrasound he was away at work, so when I talked to him after to tell him about it, he told me he wanted to wait until he got home th enext week before I told him what the s_x was. So I had to keep it a secret until then. But then when he got home, he decided that he didin't want to know anymore!! Ahhh so now I know and he doesn't!! It is actually not too hard to keep it a secret, because no one else except my best friend( who came with me to the ultrasound) know s that I knwo that it is a girl. So I just have to kind of hide all the girly stuff that I have for her until she is born. I did the nursery in very nuetral earthy tones, so you really can't tell from that either. I did say "he" once in refrence to the baby, and I think that now he thinks that it is a boy. I knwo that he would really liek the first to be a boy, so he has a buddy to teach how to hunt and fish and quad and all that kind of stuff, but he is going to absolulty melt when she is born. He is a pretty sensitive guy to start with and I can see the tears already!! And then he will head directly home to load the shotgun to keep the boys at bay!! :) And in a way I really like knowing that it is a girl and no-one else knowing. It is kind of like mine and hers first little secret :)

softbreeze200 - May 22

You know Erin - I bet you are sleeping better because of the lack of stress that you have now. A ton of stuff has been lifted off your shoulders in the last month or so and that makes a huge difference. I am glad to hear that you are getting better rest and I bet Creedance is going through a growth spurt. I too find lots of really quiet days and then she willbe a moving and kicking machine for a day or two and then quiet again. It must be a growth pattern they go through??
