thanks erin - it's so nice to have a veteran mommy. the nurse just called me back, they asked the doc and he's not worried. they said unless I was having other signs like contractions or spotting an active baby doesn't worry them. but the nurse was nice and didn't make me feel stupid. I'm sure they get tons of calls for much stupider stuff and from much crazier mothers than myself. or at least I'll just tell myself that :)

alicia, glad your spirits are better about your GD. I'm outtie for the day, tomm might be busy but I'll check in at some point! only 10 days of work left. thanks again erin for making me feel better, you're the best in the business :)

******** I just got a text from Danielle. She had to go to L&D because she almost pa__sed out at the doctor today. they are checking her for preeclampsia and other things. She said she is really swollen too!!!!!*********

Also she said she was very dizzy, hot and her ears started ringing. They took her in an abulance. She said she feels better just sick....

Morning August Mummies! Wow it sucks being in a different time zone to you all - its hard to keep up with whats going on! Thanks for the adds on face book - patti I will try to find you and request you. SO I HAVE A DUMB QUESTION BUT HERE GOES- when they check you for dilation etc what exactly does that entail? And is it hurties? :) I just want to be prepared is all! haha. Also I had a docs app on Wed - I was 33 weeks and 4 days and measuring at 31.5 - is that a concern? The mid wife didnt say anything but?????? Danielle - I hope you are feeling better and ok? xxx

Good morning my favorite pregnant people. I am so happy it is friday. I can't wait to get off and go home... I am super tired. I went to bed and 9 and I don't feel like I slept any. Danielle text me and said she got to come home last night and they have her on a 24 urine test. So hopefully everything is okay. My feet were way too swollen last night. I even got in the pool and it didn't help. Happy 34 weeks Erin!!! Only 42 more days left girl. Patti its your last day and that is super sad but yes you must check in daliy. If we was all together we would throw you a party but I guess we can't really do that. I started my meds this morning so we shall see how they work this weekend.... Jeremys man shower is this saturday and its supose to rain... Oh and its a pool party....lmao

ok ladies, im home, i got home last night. what a day! first i decided since i had an extra hour to spare before i had to go to the docs with no kids, i'd clean my car, i went through the autowash, then i emptied my car and thoroughly cleaned it, took everything including carseats out. i was sooooo hot, and sweaty, it was pooring off of me, so i downed a 20 oz sprite before that, and after that i went to hardees and got a 32 oz water which again, i downed, i was HOT. but not feeling awful. so i drive to my doc drinking the melting ice in my cup. i get there go back to the room and have to wait like an hour. so its been a good 2 hours since i did all the work and got so hot. she comes in and does the u/s and i start telling her im getting sick. i tried to enjoy the u/s cuz i got to see her little face and hands which are head down by the way. but i couldn't i just kept feeling worse and worse. oh and she couldn't tell if it really was a girl! stubborn baby! so after she got finished, she was getting ready to check me, and i got super hot, especially in the face and had to sit up, well my ears started ringing, the room was spinning, and she started talking to me, and it was if i was underwater or something, i couldn't hardly hear her. it went black for a second too. but that was super scary! she said she was gonna send me over to the hospital anyway for monitering b/c i had told her the last few days i had swelled up and had headaches and was feeling nauseous but now she wouldn't even let me drive and the hospital was right across the street. she made an ambulance come and get me and i was feeling better. i was very embarra__sed to be rolling out of there on a gurney. my blood pressure was a little high not awful but it went back down. and it took the poor little new nurse 4 times to get an iv in me! and take blood. but i didn't say anything other than ow, cuz she was new and i told her i was wanting to be a nurse, and knew i would be doing the same thing to someone soon. so they did that hooked me up to all the contraction and heartrate moniters and i had to push a b___ton everytime she moved. laying on my back half sitting was so uncomfortable. i sat up and they had to come in and make sure they were getting the right readings, but i had a few contractions, nothing big, i only had maybe 3 or 4 good ones the whole time i was there, but they did check me, i am 1 cm dilated, and the baby is still pretty far back, and only very little effacement. so nothing big. my bloodwork came back ok, and they sent me home to do a 24 hour urine test, so i have to keep peeing in this jug thing til tonight and then i have to drive it all the way back to the hospital tonite, which is almost an hour away... they are checking it for protein and creatines, to check for toxemia and preeclampsia, cuz it looked like thats what i was getting. so i don't know much right now, still have a little bit of a headache and still feel nauseous. if the tests don't show anything, i wonder whats wrong wtih me??? oh and the checking for dialation is kinda painful to me, but the baby was still so far back that she really had to go "up there" to find her so that doesn't help much. and now i am spotting which they said is normal after an exam. i have to go back to the docs for a followup tuesday so i will see what she says then.

oh im supposed to be resting alot, not complete bedrest but no heavy housework and no lifting heavy things. and frequent rest times. i almost laughed at them, i have 2 toddlers at home and myhusband is gone through the day...

poor danielle - I'm glad you're feeling better. I don't feel good today :( I just feel funny. I kinda just have a bad feeling but I can't back it up. mike thinks we should go to the hospital tonight if I'm not feeling better so we'll see. this is going to be a looooong day. I'm usually busy on fridays but I can't concentrate on working right now. oh, we finished the ba__sinet last night, it actually went rather smoothly. don't get me wrong, I felt like hurting mike again when he was acting dumb, but it's all together and waiting for baby now! 1 thing down, like 50 more to go! there's so much stuff to put together! this weekend our bathroom is being redone, I'm so excited. I've been living with a disgusting bathroom for the past 6 months - we're going to home depot tonight to buy all our fixtures and a BIG soaking tub and all, I can't wait to take a bath! I haven't taken a bath in YEARS! we've been apartment living in the city for long, I haven't had a bathtub since I lived with my parents!

ok problem. i just went to the bathroom and since i have to catch it in a urine thing, i can see it, well it had 2 things floating, blood things, they didn't look like clots, they were flimsy looking but red. then when i wiped, sorry if tmi, but it was still brown, no big deal, they checked me, but there were little clumps of discharge! nothing big, but i haven't had any discharge in weeks when i've gone to the bathroom! so am i losing my plug??? i never lost it before til my water broke with my other 2. and it was big cuz it just come out. so i am confused and what about the little flimsy thingies??? ugh, i just don't know.

Well, happy 34 weeks to you too Miss Alicia. I am so flippin tired. I had RLS problems til like 1:00 am. The weird thing is that the only thing that helps is if I turn the TV on. Danielle, I know it is normal to feel lightheaded during pregnancy (I always get dizzy in the mornings) and if I lie flat for too long, that makes me dizzy too, so hopefully that's the problem you are having and nothing serious. But I am so jealous you are 1 cm dilated!Usually by now I've started walking and sitting on a yoga ball at night and I haven't done any of that, so I'll probably be clamped like a clam when my doc starts to check me. Everyone keeps freaking me out with their "you're gonna go early" predictions. I'm like, no I'm not d__nit! I can't! I talked with hubby a little bit last night about how I'm not handling him being away and he said that we'd wait to see how his job pans out (meaning if he starts getting offshore more often) and we'll talk about me moving up yonder. There's no way I can live the rest of our lives with seeing him MAYBE on the weekends. Plus I don't want the kids to go through that. They need their daddy. OMG, I watched this show last night on s_xtuplets-holy c___p that woman looked miserable. Could ya'll imagine carrying 6 babies?! She delivered them at like 31 weeks. Crazy.

Oh yeah, and Gabbi, don't ever hesitate to call or go to the hospital. You will NOT be the first mom to stroll in there just because something didn't feel right. Just tell them the baby hasn't been moving and they'll hook ya right up! Even if she has been moving, at least you'll be a__sured when they check everything out. I've kinda had a nagging feeling too, but I think it's just getting to be that time when everything is heightened and certain natural instincts are kicking in. Danielle, since they did such an 'invasive' internal exam, I really wouldn't worry about it, but like I always say, best to call your doc just in case.

Today is dragging by. I have been calling everyone trying to get my FMLA stuff ready and just double check to make sure they have everything they need. I don't need any reason for why they can't pay or a late pay check...lol. Also I am calling the IRS ( fun fun) because we still ahvent recieved Jeremy's taxes or our stimulus and I would love to have that right now. I did get some good news. Last yr on the day after Tgiving Jeremy and I bought a huge 65inch tv, well since then we moved and now the tv is just sitting in storage and I hate that. His step Dad told him last night he would buy it from us which is great. I was so happy. I was like lets load it tonight and take it to him... lol

Alrighty, so I posted my 34 week picture up on myspace and I now remember why I stopped taking pictures in the first place. That is awesome news Alicia about your TV! I also have a nice windfall coming my way-Carl is getting a retainage check for some tile work he did before he moved to Houston, which will be about $600. You bet I will be stashing that the quickest way I know how.
