I told Mason this morning to go ahead and come on out... Erin- That evil bizzznitch that screwed your party should have to be pregnant with twins during the summer... ha see if she likes it... And yes if my office got me cake I would be more than happy. It would be the most they have done... I have a question for you guys... What are you supose to do on the yoga ball to get things going???? I think we are going to try and get one of those medlea or whatever ones but I am going to wait and buy it after he gets here. That way I know for sure this child will feed off me....lol. We finally got some girls in here from another company we bought that are my age and nice and wouldn't you know it they decided to send them to another branch... I was like NOOOOOOOO don't take them. I finally had someone to go to lunch with and secretly talk about the others with....lol. Patti- I wish you was on here more often. I miss ya so much darlin.... And leah and katie where ahve you too been???? I have no updates from you guys... Oh my neice was born yesterday... She was 7lbs 3oz and 19 in long. Very cute. I am reposting this... mainly bc I thought it would be helpful... I put it on the last post, but heard nothing! Hey everyone! I wanted to give you all some info... I went to the doc yesterday and asked him about the "perscription" for a b___st pump. He said the best way to do it is at the hospital.Once the baby is born they will write a scrip for it or you can purchase one of the ones from the hospital (Ameda or medela) and they will put in on the bill from the hospital. Which means insurance will pay for it if it works that way... (my out of pocket max is $3000, so once I meet that, they pay for it all)! He said the scrip would work also, and cut the cost in half. DOn't know if any of you have found out anything from the docs or insurance as far as that goes, but I thought that might help. Also, Momma, you were asking about the diff pumps! From my friends experience, she went through 1 advent, 1 first years and then bought a medela... she ended up using that one for the remainder of the first kid and then the 2nd one as well. So I guess it pays to pay the extra money up front so you don't have to buy another and end up spending that money anyways! Oh, my midwife/doc doesn't check until due date, mainly bc it means nothing on how dilated I am now... things can be dilated and effaced for weeks at a time! They tell me every visit to walk walk walk, sit on the yoga ball and do squats! All of those things will help with labor and the progression of getting there! I plan on doing acupuncture once the doc says i'm good to go... I have friends and family who have used it and they had babies within 24 hours.... just another thought! Have a great day!

Oh yeah! Do you ladies have 7-11 stores by you... today is free slurpee day at participating 7-11 stores! I love them! That has been my big craving for the pa__sed few months! I am so excited! Hit one up if you love them like I do! as Homer Simpson says... MMMMM SLURPEESS!!

mommaminchey - July 11

Gabbi- That is so funny we both told our little ones... Erin and I are 1 week behind you but I think I am gonna walk, use the ball thing, and rub my nipps all weekend...lol. I am happy for you though. I wish I could take off and be done for the month... But I don't have nearly the walk or commute you do. So it's not so bad for me. I haven't been crying but last night all I wanted was for Jeremy to be touching me in some way. Didn't matter how... lol. Boohda- I was going to respond when I opened the new thread but forgot. I am sorry. I was going to do that but I called my ins yest and the only way they will cover it is if he won't latch. So it may work for others but for me its a no go... BUt it is an awesome idea.

omg, free slurpee day?? that's funny, that's something I crave too and we go at least 1-2 a week to get one. we have like a million 7-11's near us, but the only one that has the wild cherry (which is my fav) is like 15 minutes away, but when mike is in a good mood he'll take me to that one :) boodah, where do you live?? and what''s your real name? (if you don't mind)

gabbysally - July 11

alicia, I was like that the other night, I needed some lovin from mike and just wanted him to hold me - but there was a catch - he got f'ing poison ivy over the weekend working in the yard so he couldn't cuddle with me b/c I don't want to catch it from him!!

Gabbi, you elusive skank!!! You best be on here posting even when you are at home relaxing. Alicia, I 'do the yoga ball' and I just sit on it with my legs out to the sides and I either rotate side to side or actually kinda roll down to a squat (but be careful the ball doesn't fall out from behind you) or I just put my elbows on my knees, spread them out and lean forward kinda thug-like, know what I mean. I even flick my nose with my thumb. Okay I'm a dork. Anywho, I laughed my a__s off when I got to the playing with my nips part of your last post. It caught me off guard. I really believe walking works too because I walked my rear off with my last one and was already a 3 by now and I haven't walked a bit with this one and I'm only a blasted fingertip. That's good advice boodah bout the pump. I'll have to my doc bout that. And I agree with you-you might as well bite the bullet, buy a good pump and be done with it than waste money on the c___ppy ones and then buy the good one anyways. Oh yeah, I messaged Leah on myspace and she is doing well. She's closed like a nun too Alicia. She also said she is getting that virus alert when she tries to log on so that's why she's been MIA.

Gabby, my name is Sarah! I live in South Florida near west palm beach! HOT HOT HOT! Yesterday it was 90 at 9:00 in the morning! Needless to say today I am taking it easier than yesterday... it takes so much out of me to be traveling for work and getting in and out of the hot car... not to mention wearing nice clothes... I resorted to "cute flip flops" bc I just can' get my fat feet into any shoes and I refuse to buy shoes to wear for a month or less! But im in FL, so not many people notice my feet after my belly walks in first! Can i ask... why do all of your docs check you now??? My doc says there is no reason unless there is an issue! Just wondering!

ekay03 - July 11

Oh yeah, I posted my 36 week pic on my myspace. I was thinking I might have dropped a bit because I don't feel like I'm suffocating when I lay down anymore and my stomach looked like it had kinda rotated forward. Buuuuuttttt, looking at the picture, it looks the same. And I was gettin all excited.

mommaminchey - July 11

I thought you would like that erin...lol. I totally will get the yoga ball out then and go my thug thizzle this weekend... I am glad you spoke to her. Mine says it too but its my work pc so I dont care...lol. Oh and wouldn't you know it no 7-11 around here... lol. But there is a drive through baskin robbins!!!! Sarah nice to meet ya ( even though you have been posting awhile) my name is Alicia and I am in TN. My doc checks no matter what at the 36 week point just to get an idea of what is going on. But as you may have read I have polyhadamois (sp) -( high fluid) and I have GD. So that is why I get checkd so much. Just to make sure lil Mason is ok. But Every doc is different in how they do things.

mommaminchey - July 11

No i just figured I would use my catcher mit....lol. So Jeremy and I are going to cracker barrel tonight then baskin robbins and I am so excited. I can't wait to leave work. Oh c___p. I forgot I need to make a birth plan too. I had one but threw it away when she said c section... C___p c___p c___p....

mommaminchey - July 11

Oh and gabbi that sucks he has posin ivy. That stuff is awful... I would go crazy if Jeremy couldn't touch me. Last night he just laid his hand on my side and I feel right to sleep. Since I go to bed so much earlier now he lays in there till I fall asleep and then he gets up... But I fall asleep fast.... Like within 10min fast. Usually faster... Hey where is danielle this morning?

ekay03 - July 11

Here's my birth plan: Push a baby out. There. I don't even know what the hell a birth plan is, I am just gonna plan on giving birth. Alicia, you are making me jealous with all your husband talk and dinner talk. I wanna go to dinner with my husband...:-( I think Danielle is having trouble with her internet.

hi mommas!! I am gonna freak out about this stupid virus thing. It completly blocks me from logging on and I can't X out of it. It just keeps running this scan and telling me that my computer is infected.UGH> HAPPY LAST DAY GABBI!!! I still feel like I am on a week holiday time and that I have to go back after the weekends and then monday comes and it is great all over again! I am golfing tommorow in a town golf tourny!! I wasnt going to, but then hubby suggested that all the walking and exercise might help get things moving, so I quickly changed my thoughts! What I thought was the baby just pushing out on my stomach, I know think might actually be BH. I am not sure. Alicia - you crack me up with your nips rubbing!! HAHHHAA!! THanks for the laughs!! I have been so slack about posting any new pics on my space - sorry. I think subconciously I haven't even been too concerned with taking them every week. I still try to, but it is not as urgent. I don't feel lke my belly is big enough - does that sound weird. It really doesn't feel like it has changed alot over the last month, but I am sure it has. I know the streach marks have definatly made a home on each side of my belly, which I am not too happy about. You guys and all your talk of this good food and slurpees and such - it is torture you know. I live out in the country and it is about a 45 min drive in to the city where someone could get any of that, and geeze with the price of gas, I would be broke before I even got there!! lol!! But oh does a slurpee ever sound delicious!! Cream soda is my fav! mmmmmm... Gabbi are they getting you a cake?? They better be. Anyone take any nursery pics yet to post??

Erin, I see docs and midwives and they both don't check! Yes, I am the one who has the mystery gender! It is so freakin' exciting... I'm getting so anxious! I will be doing w/o the epi! Im not trying to be a martyr, but I just know it can be done and want to be a part of it all. I have never had a horrible idea of childbirth, due to the fact my mom birthed me and my bro at home no midwfe or anything (they were outlawed then... HIPPIES) and she had nothing but wonderful things to say! The hospital births I have been a part of with epi's and drugs have been so scary... babies coming out doped up and moms not having the feeling back in places for a while! Anyways, it's just my opinion! My birth plan is to stay home as long as possible and then tell them to leave me alone when I get there... I would do it at home, but I have a little bit of doubt in the process and don't want to have to clean up afterwards :) Oh and I had the slurpee, it's 7.11 oz of pure wonderfulness! Mostly bc it's free! I wanted to get a big one, but I took the free cup and enjoyed every minute of it! Cherry and Coke mixed! YUMMMMMMM!

ekay03 - July 11

I would say I would go and get a slurpee, but I don't even think we have 711's here anymore. We used to. Plus I checked the calorie count for Sonic slushes one time and it was like 400 calories for a regular 20 oz. So......Sarah, the first one I did w/o and epidural was prety much perfect. They did break my water because I went in at a 5 with no contx or anything, so they figured what the hell and I went immediately into hard labor. But I was pretty calm and collected for that one. Then the second labor w/o epi was a tad different. I made it all the way to a 7, asked for a SMALL amount of Nubaine and when they gave it to me, my labor stopped. So they broke my water to get things going. Let me tell you, it felt like my body was ripping in two. I think the reason the 1st one went so well is that I was confident and I had no idea what to expect, so I wasn't too scared or anything. But with the second, I knew things I didn't know before, so I psyched myself out. But I'm trying to get geared up for another one without epidural! I might even go through a refresher birthing cla__s!
