when are you due preggo?im due the 1st, and i would ask her to strip my membranes this week but shes out all week so i don't even go back til the 21st. and yes, sometimes a full moon helps. i know when i had my little boy they had lots of women in there and said it was cuz of the full moon. ive been having contractions for the last few hours, but they aren't getting any stronger yet. she said 30th for me cuz they always induce on wednesdays, ive never been induced. i was supposed to be with my little girl if i didn't go in on my own, cuz she was 6 days late. but i went in labor 3 days before my induction! woohoo. but i really need this one to come out this week so my hubby doesn't lose any work. can't afford it. im hoping these contractions turn into something, cuz they are lasting a while.

Cnasmom- I'm due August 2nd. I wish I could say I was having contractions. I did a few days ago after my dr did the internal exam...but they went away. You should walk walk walk!! Thats what everyone says. I've been trying to go for about a mile walk every evening. Though, I will tell you its rather uncomfortable with the baby being so low and the braxton hicks contractions I get while walking. After my membrane stirp I plan on walking...A LOT. Hopefully that will help even more to get things going. I'll probably just walk around the hospital (which is where my appt is) so that If I do go into labor, I'll already be there. I've heard so many horror stories of 2nd babies being born within a few hours and women missing their window of opportunity for the epidural. I at least want the option! I even had a friend who got stuck in rush hour traffic on the way to hospital and had to call an abulance. She made it to the hospital within minutes of delivering her 2nd child. I'm trying to avoid anything like that haha. Anyway, keep me posted on your contractions!! Hopefully they eventually lead to labor for you!!

Morning everyone... I am so effin' tired I could fall asleep anywhere. I didn't sleep worth c___p last night and too top it off I didn't even get to bed till almost 11:30 which is way later than I am use too. Erin I had a piece of cake for ya... But only because they gave me the smallest piece ever... I was like what is this about...lol. Oh I spoke with 2 of Jeremy's cousins yesterday and one of them gain 100lbs and another 76 lbs with there kids... I was really shocked at the 100lbs....

preggo, my second one came really fast, within 4 hours of my water breaking! we got to the hospital an hour after it broke, cuz we live far away from it, and i was 7 cm!!! i was in some major pain! it took forever for the anesteciologist, sp?, to get there, but i was 8 cm when i got my epi, and after that it was all good! but she wants to induce me cuz i have such fast labors, but not til the freaking 30th. but my contractions kinda went away after midnight, and they keep coming and going today, but nothing consistent, mommam, i didn't sleep good last night either, i think i was anticipating labor! haha, but my body fooled me. nothing. i keep hoping to see my plug or bloody show when i potty, but again, nothing. dang it. i keep feeling lots of pressure, last night for over an hour i felt like i was having a constant contraction in my lower tummy and i was excited but it went away. maybe labor is getting close tho! where's erin today?

mommaminchey - July 14

Well I don't know what the hell was wrong last night but i tossed and turned all night... I am going straight home today for a nap.... Erin is measuring a house... I think she will be on later... maybe patti will join us for a bit today.

Momma- I completely understand about the no sleep. Living in Hawaii in the summer, with no a/c, and being 8 months preggo = no sleep for me. My hubby didn't want to buy an a/c because we'll be moving in a little over a month. Well, I finally was sooo tired and cranky and moody from not sleeping, he FINALLY gave in. It is HEAVEN to sleep in a cool room again. Though, I still am not sleeping all that well. At least I'm more comfortable though! Cnasmom- See! You totally have one of those birth stories that I'm affraid of with your 2nd. I'm about 30 min from the hosipital, so not TOO bad, but still, I'm scared!! I actually had some contractions last night after my walk. Sometimes its really hard for me to tell if its the baby moving or a contraction, as both are really uncomfortable. So, I really started paying attention, and they were for sure, small contractions. I started timing them, but they were all over the place...20 min, 30, min, 8 min apart..so I knew it was labor. Ahhh oh well. Still hoping for Thursday to work!!

I meant I knew it *wasn't* labor...

Hiya Mommas!! How was everyones weekend?? Mine was pretty uneventful - golf was good and gave me no troubles at all - although everyone seemed to think it is the weirdest thing to see a pregnant woman do something physical. Geeze.!! But oh ALicia - I hear ya about last night sleep. I was up every hour to pee and with period cramps int eh lower abdomen. That was all new to me. THen this morning I had a couple major painful cramps in the lower right side that just didnt let up for about 45 minutes. They are gone now, but whowzers.. did that hurt. I was tempted to call the doc, but I have an appt this afternoon, so I will hold off and ask her then. I wonder how Gabbi's beach weekend went. Hopefully she got in some much needed rest and relax time before miss Casey arrives. :) When are you done work ALicia??

Preggosause- how on earth could you live any amount of time without AC. I know I am in TN and its not as hott as NJ and TX but wow.... I sleep with the ac on and a fan b__wing right on my b___t... I couldn't have it any other way.... I feel for you girl. But i am glad he got it for ya... And patti- I am not leaving till I can't take it anymore. I have a doc apt wed and I am almost sure she will tell me he has dropped. My pain is so much lower now than it was and my belly is in a different place... Much lower. So i hope this big baby is ready to move out...lol. I guess though I may go ahead and leave at the begining of Aug if they think he will be here in a few days. I just don't want to take off and then it be like 1-2 weeks till he comes...I would love the chance to sit at home but can't afford it with the economy and gas etc.... I did get good news this weekend. My old manager whom I am still friends with came over and said she has a job opening for me if I want it when I get done with mat leave. It would be making only 1-3k more a year but I would lose my 7:30-4:30 sched and have to go to 8-5. I know its not that big of a deal but it matters when you are ready to go home...lol. I am going to check it out on mat leave and see if i want to take it.

Momma- Yeah, I don't know how I made it with no a/c that long, especially now that I have it. Sheesh. Hey...You live in TN?? My hubby and I JUST found out this morning that we will be moving to the TN or KY area (He came down on orders to be a recruiter there). We don't know exactly where yet, we just know we'll be in either TN or KY. I'm excited! My sis lives in Louisville, and I love that part of the country!! Do you like living there?? Softbreeze--That name Jasey is sooo cute! Unique names are getting harder to come by, but I've never heard that name, its adorable!

No my mom works so i will have to put him in daycare. Which i checked the one out that I like and I went ahead and put my deposit down. It's $140 a week and we have to provide them with everything... which is fine... I get 6 weeks paid if its v____al and 8 if its c section. But I can take off up to 12 if I wanted. Yes preggo i love it. Now the houseing market is more expensive up in Louisville than in TN but I guess too it depends on what part of TN you guys move to. Def tell me where you get located to and I will give you any info I can. My friend is a great realtor and I could hook you guys up. She goes anywhere from GA- TN- KY. So she can help you guys out and she got me a great deal and even got me an awesome deal on selling my house...

preggosauce - July 14

Momma- Great! I will definitley keep you posted on where exactly we end up. I hope we know something more by this week. We will be looking at buying a house too, so thats great you know someone who could help us! Gosh, between this new baby comming and moving....there's so much going on!

mommaminchey - July 14

Yea I could only imagine trying to move from there to here. But I am sure the army will be a great help. How long should it be before you guys have to move? Hopefully a few months after the baby is born so you aren't moving with a very newborn...lol. But I am sure she would be happy to help. She actually just found my best friend a foreclosuer for a ridiculous price. House should of sold for aroun170-180 and she got it for 112k. So maybe she can get something like that for you guys.

Momma- My husbands report date to recruiting school is October 27th, and we have to report to the recruiting office where he'll be working (wherever that turns out to be) At least two weeks before that. He get to take up to 30 days leave between leaving here and reporting there. So, It looks like we may be leaving Hawaii around the beginning/middle of September. So, the baby should be around 6 weeks old? Maybe a little younger. We'll see how this all goes. lol. Anyway, again, thanks for the help on the realtor. I'll keep you posted and let you know what area we get!!
