Hi everyone and welcome newcomers!!! Today is my official due date, but miss Brynley is making no effort to come join us. My appointment is tomorrow, and last week they said that we would talk about inducing if she doesn't come by then. The only definite from last week is that she dropped even lower. You can actually push on the top of my belly again without it being rock hard. Either way, just a few more days though......right?

Patti - I'm glad to hear that Jessica is doing so well and her thrush is getting better. Alicia - I hope that you get to feeling better soon from your c-section. I'm glad that Mason is doing good. I just love the pics you posted of him. Erin - I'm glad that Creedence came early for you. I can't wait to see pics of her!!! I hope her delivery went smooth for you. Katie- COngrats on your babe as well. How are you recovering from your c-section? I hope you are recovering nicely as well. I hope that Jamie and Danielle are enjoying their new bundles as well. If I missed anyone, I am sorry and it was not intentional. I will check back later to see how Gabbi is doing and if she has had miss Casey yet.

hi all. sorry i haven't been on. I have 2 sick kiddos running very high fevers close to 105. but baby is fine so far. I took all 3 to the pediatrician yesterday. He thinks the 2 older ones have tonsilitis and chloe is great. ok patti, and ur little baby! lol, chloe weighed 10 lbs 4 oz yesterday!!!! she's already gained over a lb, cuz she lost 9 oz in the hospital. and is back up and not even 2 wks old yet! little stinker, i mean big stinker! lol. Congrats Erin on Cree shes a cutie!! me erin and katie have some biggens!! I am so sleepy tho, my lil boy was up all night puking nad chloe decided when i woke her up at 2 to feed her she wanted to stay up til almost 4:30, ugh. I need sleep! Gabbi, good luck tonite!!! i bet yo ucan't wait to meet casey!!! well i am gonna go cuz its about nap time and i need one something awful.

hey ladies! good news, i went in to see the doc today and she says i'm 3 cm and my cervix is super "ripe" lol...... i'm ready to go! and she stripped my membranes to hopefully get things moving.... so i hope i hope i hope this baby comes asap and i will keep you all updated! o and she said she'd induce if i'm not in labor on my own by friday....

ok, guys!!! we're getting ready to leave to go to dinner and then the hospital to have a baby. I'm not even nervous, I don't think it's hit me yet. so I'll be back on in a few days!! good luck the rest of you mommies, I hope there's more of you in labor when I come back!

Hello ladies...IRON....YEY !!! You are progressing and will soon have a litte baby. GABBY...>GOOD LUCK !! ALlyou with new babies....congrats and dont worry you will get the hang of everything and get down to routine. I went to the dr today also. I am still 50% efaced and now dialated at 3. So she scheduled me for an induction on my due date...Sept. 2nd....but then I came home and my mucus plug came out. It was more of the bloody show then clumpy plug.....but it a start. SO it will be interesting to see what happens.

I hope everything goes nice and easy for you guys and make sure Mike is there to hold your hand - it is an incredible journey!! :) Danielle - I am sorry to hear that the kiddos are sick, that has got to be really hard with trying to adjust to Chloe as well. But I ma glad to hear that she has not gotten it and is doing well. She is soo adorable, with all that hair!! Alicia - can your dr give you some more meds for the pain while at home?? I know that the pain that I had doesn't compare to that of surgery pain, and it was bad enough. But I am sure that as long as you have lil'Mason in your arms it is bearable hey?!!! So glad to hear from you!! smmom - The way that us Aug mommies went with our due dates it is very likely that you will be in AUg as well!! lol!! Yes this thrush is a real pain, but it looks like we have a pretty good handle on it now and she is definalty more comfortable. I researched the medication and wasnt happy with it, so I went with the herbal Gentian Violet and it has worked great, so I am hoping once we are rid of it, she wont get it again. But yes I have been sterilizing her pacifiers and everything that she sticks in her mouth, just to be sure. Iron - well at least you know that by friday you will be holding your little bundle!! Hopefully you will go on your own though before that! LEah - well girl - here we are on the official due date!! I am hoping for ya that Miss Brynley will decide that she wants to come on out and join the rest of her august playmates today sometime! Have you tried the dreaded s_x yet?? lol!! Well, here is hoping for ya!!

Hi all!! :) Well only 2 days till my due date and still not much going on - hee hee. I THINK I may have had a little contraction this morning but not sure? Really sharp pain in my lower left abdomen - kinda took my breathe away - but was gone really fast - nothing since. Still no mucus plug or nothing - but thats ok - i am trying not to dwell on it too much haha!!! Hope you are all doing great! :)

Well, I'm still here and still preggo. I swear I had so many people calling me yesterday telling me how to have s_x and every other "jumpstart" for labor in the book. I finally cut my phone off. I go to the doc today at 1:15, so maybe I'll have good news. I went on an uphill walk yesterday. No joke, the hill was straight up. Keith is beginning to feel like I am using him for s_x now. Well, I'll check back later to see how everyone else is doing...

Smsmom, I can't believe you're already dilated to a 3! Bellybubble, at least you're still waiting with me! My doctor's appointment yesterday showed no progress, still 1cm and 50% with the baby floating. I'm due the 17th but she thought I'd make it longer, probably til induction on the 28th! Can you believe it!!?! The 28th! I could have this baby in September! :( I'm starting to get pretty emotional about things and playing the pregnancy card...which I really haven't done all pregnancy so I don't think it will annoy people too much. I just either want to yell at people or have them hold me...but I don't want them to kiss the belly! I hate when people kiss the belly! Ugh! My mother and MIL do it all the time! Sorry to run on a tangent!

hey there mamas~ well last night from 7pm, till 1am i was having somewhat regular contractions, btwn 5 and 10 min apart, and they weren't that bad either, a very light level of pain.... but around 1 they stopped so i went to bed and slept till 6 or 7 this morning.... when really strong contractions got me -- but as much as they were super duper strong and really hurt this time, they didnt get consistent. d__nit..... lol i had some bloody show too, but these contractions just arent consistent! i called my dr's office for some advice-- which seems silly, this is my second kid but somehow i was hoping to have a quick labor this time, my first was 56 hrs. Now that i'm on my second day (kindof) i'm thinking maybe that's just the way i am. Arrrg.... frustrated.... but hopefully i'll be posting a birth story soon! :) o and btw, the membrane strip did hurt a little, was just really really uncomfortable.

What do you ladies think? I've been really wet all day down there. I've had to change my underwear three times already. Some of the discharge is clear liquid and some is white and stretchy and a tiny bit is stringy blood (super tiny). It's not leaking, it's just wet. Do you think it would be a small leak?

Hello Aug mommies. SOFT......I am glad you have the thrushinder control...nasty stuff. HOPEFUL...keep in mind it can happen so fast, but that is funny about dh feeling like your using him !!! ANd the walk things never worked for me..ever. ANNAMARIE>....It is so hard to not get emoitional after 9 months of carrying and growing a baby. I am the same way and so is everyone I know. You are irritable with everything, and tired, and want to cry at the same time. It does go away but not until after the baby. I am dialated at 3, but was that way for 3 wks with dd. So who knows....hoever I did lose my plud yesterday and a little more this am. My mom said that always happened for her the day of labor. For me 2 wks before !!! IRON......keep any eye on those contractions, and time them every time. I am hoping labor happens for you soon, just because I have had BH since 17 wks with this baby. They are aweful and hurt so bad !! OH...ANA....sounds like you are losing your mucus plug. I had my water break with both dd's...the first was a trickle, gush....which is what happens for most women. And the second dd was the feeling of I had to pee....and the fluid started leaking out...I had to change undies several times in a few minutes and finally called the doc...my water had broke but was leaking out. However...it was non stop leaking..not all day leaking. So to me sounds like your mucus plug is coming out. Gross I know...but you will have lots of mucus and ' wet stuff ' in your undies. AAAHH the things we go through for these little babies. As for me...I ams till hanging with little guy. My bh have intensified, but that is all. Not consistant. !! Bummer. Oh well...he still has 3 1/2 weeks to hang out !!!

Hi all - I am still preggo too haha. anamariaflorencia - I have been getting a lot of wetness in my pants too - but mine is clear so i dont know if i am leaking or if it is just discharge? Also i cant remember ever losing my plug so i am thinking just discharge - what do the rest of you think - should i ring my hosp up and check or just a__sume its discharge - its not gushing out or anything - just wet pants by the end of the day? Sorry if TMI haha. I will pray we all make some progress soon hee hee. My mum and dad arrive today so i am hoping my bub makes his or her grand entrance soon. My hubby just sent me this random text saying "I am so proud of you - you are so strong for going through all this to have our child - I love you so much xxx xxx" Yeah he made me cry haha I will check back in later today! :)

Well, I went to L and D to check on the wetness...just like you predicted SM! Just my mucus plug starting to come out. How did you know? Well, next time I won't make a big deal of it when I'm wet like that unless I'm dripping or trickling or gushing. Belly, same must be happening to you. L and D was soooo boring. We were there for like 3 hours for what should have taken 10 minutes. There was a shift change at 7pm and the new doctor was "getting dressed" from 7 until 8:30! I told dh he'd better be a d__n good looking doctor with his hair perfectly gelled and scrubs freshly pressed! Haha. Anyway, those straps they make you put on are so uncomfortable and they didn't want me to move so that they would monitor the baby. I guess I understand but my back was hurting laying on my back the whole time! The good news is I was having contractions...according to the monitors...but I wasn't feeling any of them. I guess that happens to everyone? Cause I know for sure that I do not have a high pain tolerance. Anyway, that's my semi exciting story. Now I just don't know whether or not to tell my mom about my trip to L and D...I think she'll be upset that I didn't call her before I went. You know mothers, they want to be involved in every little aspect of this.

Well, I had my appointment earlier today, still barely dilated with no sign of labor. The doc agreed that if I'm not in labor by Sunday then Sunday evening I go to the hospital at 5 pm to be admitted and get my iv started. Then, they will start me on cervadil (sp?) until Monday morning to help get the cervix ready, Then, Monday morning they will start me on pitocin to kick start the contractions and that I could expect to have the baby sometime Monday evening into MOnday night. So there's a recap of my day. I'm a little disappointed that Brynley is not the one starting the labor, but I've already been out of work for 3 weeks. My leave won't last forever, you know? Anyway, good luck to all you other ladies. I'm sure I'll check back in before Sunday, but if not, I'll post my birth story as soon as I feel up to it.
