Its at 8:30 in the morning. But I get so light headed if I don't eat every two hours or so, especially in the morning. You bet your a__s I will be dining at 11:55 the night before. I wonder why some ask you to fast and some don't. I had to call and double check whether or not I had to fast, I would have been p__sed if I had eaten not knowing and the test come back high and then gotten a false positive or something. B___ds.

I must say child care is expensive... I went to checkers for a kids meal... I was craving a burger so I just couldn't say no. Oh and by the way they said Mason was head down... That's good... hey, is anyone taking any prenatal cla__ses? we just signed up for one, it's in june. its 2 cla__ses of preparing for childbirth and 2 caring for baby cla__ses. I'm kinda excited!! we weren't going to do it at first b/c it was kinda pricey, but then I thought about it and I'd really like to kow what's going to happen when I go into labor ya know?? so is anyone else (new mommies obvi) gonna do one?

momma, good luck with the day care shopping. luckily, I have a mom who doesn't work and is dying to take care of casey when she comes. I may only go back 4 days, but mom will be watching casey (and ruby the pup) while we're at work. see, but I think your prices sound extremely reasonable. day care around me is about 1,000 a month...sometimes more!

Gabbi- you are so lucky to ahve your mom close by. I know if my Dad was still alive my Mom would of quit work and would watch him but she just can't afford to know... But $600 here a month for day care is probably right in line for the cost of living there. I know it's really not alot. I mean it could be worse it's jsut so pricey and I feel like I'm not giving him the very best by putting him in a day care. I guess that' another one of my complaints....Hopefully a friend of mine can watch him and I will be happy with that but if she can't I need a back up.

hey mommam. I looked into daycare for my 2 when i started back to school and it was ridiculous. well i asked around and my mom did too, little town, and she gave me some numbers to babysitters. I found an awesome one. shes an older lady and she watches around 4 or 5 kids at a time, and she charges 12 a day per kid and she feeds them and has toys galore outside and inside for them to play with. I would much rather have a babysitter than a daycare in my opinion. they have more time and aren't running after as many kids. shes really sweet and my kids love her to death, they always want to go to memaw bonnies.

$12 that's it? That's great! Oh I wish I could find someone like her. I ahve been trying to get the world out as much as I can and ask around....

Hopeful3 - May 9

I wanted to get on here earlier, but we lost track of time today and was in arush to get everything done. Then pregnancy kicked in and I had to take a nap. Anyway, the lab said today that I could call the doc office tomorrow and get the results of my 3 hr test from today. For any who are curious, I was only given 24 hour notice of having to take the test. I was told that except for water, I could have nothing to eat or drink after midnight. I got there at 8 and immediately had to have my blood drawn. Then, they gave me a drink similar to what they give for they 1 hr test, except it had twice as much sugar. I was gagging trying to get it all down ((yuck!!). Then, for the next hour I was trying my best not to give in to the nausea (I did good!!). Btw, if you vomit, the test is canceled and you have to reschedule. The hardest part after that was staying awake (b/c I work 2nd shift). My poor Keith fell asleep, and I had to keep waking him up b/c he kept snoring and his mouth kept falling open. It was funny, but I didn't want him to embara__s himself too bad. I have high hopes for tomorrow, but I'm still a smidgened worried about the results. I know it will be ok either way, but I just want Brynley to be as healthy as possible.

I am also worried about daycare. Both my mom and mil want to keep her, but it's just not the best circimstances. Both Keith and I are on nights, so we get off roughly around 11p. My mom works days (my dad is disabled), so they want us to drop the baby off with my dad before we go to work, and then between the both of them, they want to watch her until 11-12 at night (depending on if we get off on time). I don't really have a problem with this except that they live about 45 min from my job, and they are not night owls. Then, my mil babysits for her sister and my sil during the day. She is disabled as well, except she is in a wheel chair (knee injury) and cannot drive in the case of an emergency. Also, she babysits during the day. She has to take meds in the evening to help her sleep at night, or else she stayd groggy during the day. She argues that it's not fair if we don't let her watch Brynley as well. My argument is that she can't keep kids from 6:30am until 11:30ish at night with all the meds she's taking. Besides, she would put the baby on a 1st shift sleeping schedule, and that wouldn't work for us. If we could make it work, she only lives a mile from us, and that would make it really convenient time-wise. We know that things will work out, so I am trying hard not to worry, or stress over this right now.

morning girls. i am not a happy camper this morning. I can't get outta of the hole in the bank, i put my husbands check in there yesterday and we are already almost 400 overdrawn! we just can't get out. i don't know what to do. hummmmm. help!!!

ekay03 - May 9

Morning morning pumpkins. I'll just go in order here, so first childcare....I, like Danielle, I have completely lucked out with a Meemaw! She is the grandmother of one of the kids my sister's kids used to go to school with. (Kinda confusing) But anyways, when I first started bringing Rose there, she had about 5 or 6 kids and then after Josephine, she dropped down to about 4 and now she watches my girls and my neice, so they have her undivided attention. I pay 35$ a day for the 2 girls, so about $750 a month. But lord, before my son started school it was over $1000. Which, it appears we will be paying again shortly with Creedence. The babysitter is kinda starting to get older (I think she is in her late 60s, early 70s) and I sometimes get paranoid about her having an emergency medically, but it could really happen with anyone at any age. Anyways, my point is the best thing to do is probably find someone by word of mouth, but from the mouths of people you trust. There's gotta be someone's retired momma that wants to watch a sweet little baby for a little extra money. You've got a bit of time too. Alicia-WE MADE IT! We're officially 3 Trimeys. I will be posting my 27 weeks pic shortly, even though, it about the same as 26, 25, 24, and 23 weeks. Hopeful, you seem a bit more relaxed about you test and I really think everything is gonna be okay no matter what! Wonder where Patti is? Is anyone not feeling rested after their alarm goes off. I used to hop outta bed at 5:45 and now I hit snooze and I would over and over again if I didn't HAVE to get up.

Hi all, a week and a half until I'm officially in the 3rd. Day Care Costs are not affordable to most families these days. I know a friend who was making $10 an hour at work and paying $11 an hour for day care. Where is the sense in that? I'm choosing to stay home even though I would make more at work than the cost of childcare. Anyone else staying home? We're going to be very poor, our budget is about $400 short each month but we know it will work out some how. I'm more worried about going stirr crazy. I go nuts when we're snowed in for a day, I don't know how I'll handle everyday, but I really think that for now that will be the best choice for our family.
