hi ladies, i just got back from the ER...i got up this morning at 3 to pee, and my undies were covered in blood. i bled more into the toilet, and there were some small clots. i woke up my BF, and he took me to the hospital. by then my bleeding had stopped. they put me on a moniter, and the baby was having accelerations, his heartbeat stayed above 200 for like 5 minutes, and all the nurses were concerned. when i moved onto my left side, he settled down. i ended up having an ultrasound, which showed no previa (i had a low lying placenta earlier in pregnancy), and the baby looked good. i am 1cm dialated (i'm 36 weeks, 4 days). from what i've read online, it seems like this might have been my "bloody show." many sites say this often means you'll go into labor anywhere between 24 hrs and 1 days later...
does anyone have any experience with this? does it sound like i may be having my little guy soon?

the same thing happened to me today i spotted this afternoon but nothing after that wondering what it means

I had that happen after being examined at 36weeks,they got overly vigerous when they checked me,I did end up having my son at 38weeks 2 days,I was at high risk for preterm labor,They gave me the steroid shots and everything,and had to stop my labor at 30,32 and 34 weeks.Hope all goes well for you.

well, i am still here at home. i ended up sleeping all day long after the hospital visit. i have been having some light cramps and tightening. i also feel a lot of pressure down low when i stand up. i have had a little more brown spotting, but no significant bleeding like this morning.
