Yes it's normal however you want to watch them if you get more that 5-8 an hour or if they start getting stronger -call your doctor that is when you should be concerned

Definitely normal. I've been having them since 15 wks with this pregnancy and now at almost 34 wks I often get up to 15 a day, and they're really strong. My dr said to only be concerned if the become pretty regular and continue to be regular if you rest and drink some water. Even still, that happened to me and I went to the ER and everything was fine, they slowed down eventually.

as Erin, when I was pregnant w/ my daughter, I started getting bh around 14/15 weeks and it FREAKED me out because it was so early.... I didn't have them w/ my son until around 36 weeks... I had them every single day w/ my daughter throughout the entire pregnancy, up until the day I delivered her..they got to the point they were unbearable...... don't let anyone tell you that bh can't be painful because they CAN!! Just watch how often, if you are doing a lot of activity, walking, that can bring them on..... drink some water, relax and they should go away....you will know it is real contractions when they don't go away w/ anything you do.
