Consultant Told Me Id Be Induced Confused

Just needing a bit of advice i had my 36 week appointment a few weeks ago at this appointment my consultant told me if i wasn't in labour by my due date they'd induce me im now 39 weeks and had a scan yesterday and asked about it there because my consultant hadn't written anything in my notes about it i have to go see her again on Monday just wondering if anyone else has had this confused as i don't see any reason why they would induce me i have factor 5 lieden mutation but i don't think that comes as a reason to be induced.

Some drs just do not like letting their patients go over. It could result in a bigger baby or maybe they might believe you may have problems. Whatever the reason I would be glad bc I went six days over with my first and i was truly miserable.
