CONGRATS JAIME!!!! yay. i am so jealous of your quick L&D.lol Jenn- no cutting out aaliyah!!lol, i do know the feeling though, remember, i wanted to jump on a trampoline!! Sarah- girl im soo sorry you have to go through that, i hope your b___by gets better, but if they do the surgery, you can hold kerrick again, that sucks so bad for you. after i read your post when you first found out about the mast_tis, i started nursing brink alot more, i dont have a pump, the one i had didnt have any suction at all, i have gotten to the point where my bigger b___b hurt real bad, and brink wasnt freakin hungry so i hand expressed, a bit of advice about that.. it doesnt feel too good but it works. Shala- have a GOOD visit with your man! so i m still waiting to hear from my insurance if they will cover the pyshical therapy, i decided it best to back off trying to be supermom and take it easy, no need to make things worse. heres a funny story to make ya laugh- james is a nerd, well i am too but this isnt about me.lol- he wants to build a rocket and move to mars. crazy yes, but i am supportive. so all he talks about is mars this and rocket that blah blah- we were 'arguing' the other day cause hes spending way to much time on his computer when hes not working, and i told him he loves the d__n computers too much for a normal person, he screams 'leave the computers alone!' i bust out laughing cause i immediately thought of that gay guy whining about britney spears, and i started to mock him...i ws laughing and fake crying saying leave the f***ing computers alone, they didnt do anything, he smirked and threw a pp diaper that i handed him to put in the genie at me-- OPEN!!! thats frellin gross. anyways its funny, hope you got a laugh at his expense!!! i do all the time.lol anyways im gonna eat a tuna sandwich. later!

Jenn~I was in the hospital for two full days. I must say that the hospital stay was awful....they recommend that you take full advantage of the nursery and get some rest, but they come in there poking you so many times-I have two big contusions in my arms where they took blood and b/c they couldn't find my veins had to insert needle then look around for one to stick. Not to mention at 430 in the am on the 13th they made me move to another room and didn't even record it so the peditrician nor my doc knew where me and Hayden were-and forget the nursery...they told me one night they didn't have a nursery nurse. You wouldn't believe this though, when they made me move rooms they told me it was cause they had 15 women in labor that day. Sarah~I am so sorry to here that. I am not bf so I don't even think I could imagine the pain cause I think in that booklet they gave me for new moms when I left said the regiment was to try to get you to bf to work it out. For all those still waiting though-what really sucks is the return of your period! And one that is loooooooooonnnnnngggg. I did have a bad scare the night before last. I pa__sed(I know this is TMI but for those of you still waiting it maybe a good warning for y'all!) a really big clot-bigger than a golf ball. What they recommend is you getting off your feet and if bleeding decreases all is good, but if it increases they will make you come back to the hospital and it's possible that you will have to have a blood transfusion. So when you do get home...make your men do the laundry and really don't lift anything over 10 lbs. I think I messed up by doing all these household chores and lifting a 24 pack of cokes. Thanks Meg~ I think if my labor had been longer I would have died....I was screaming I need to push I gotta s*** to the nurse-she kept saying no, you can't push yet and I told her well get the epidural man in here then-she told me that he was in the OR and couldn't stop what he was doing to give me one(while I was in pain-I really think that was rude to say it that way.) so then I said well if I can't push yet can I have a c-section...boy was she ugly she said "that can be arranged" yeah so Jenn watch that c-section thing....lol. Oh and Sarah I am soooo sorry you haven't been able to hold Kerrick...I would be so heartbroken. When I went through that ordeal the other night my MIL suggested that I not hold Hayden and to really take it easy-I just couldn't not hold her. I find myself holding her a lot when she is sleeping just to stare into her little face...watching her dream...I wonder what it is she is dreaming about! But you can tell she is dreaming.

Still pregnant. Had my weekly appointment with the ob today. I still don't like that man. I will like him when he gets this baby OUT! lol. Was up nearly 2 hours last night with heartburn and puking my guts out...so I'm exhausted and dehydrated. Does anyone else have an ob that hurts you when he pushes around feeling the baby??? When he was measuring fundal height, he pushed my pelvic bone so hard I thought I'd start to cry...but I didn't want to come across as a major wuss. Seriously though, how important is fundal height at 39 weeks?? Oh well. I think I'm going to go call my mom... :)

Gemini_Girl - February 21

Hey All we're all almost there! it was great being in touch with all you girls through my pregnancy :) im sorry I cant post any pics to anywhere :( those that are still preggers, make the most of your time now, honestly nothing could prepare me for how tired I am and I just cant eat, im trying to force it down but its really difficult, i am feeling a bit ill, my iron levels were so low I had to be re-admitted to hospital on Wednesday night for an overnight blood tranfusion, Ewan came too, and they took him away when he needed fed as i am b___stfeeding or at least trying to, he latches on great but my body is a bit c___ppy at producing milk due to aneamia so im mixing formula and b___st just now! Congrats Riqfah and Jamie :D sorry your not well sarah, I hope u feel better soon! I know what you mean Jamie my hosp stay was c___ppy too as they were so busy, so having to be re-admitted was horrible! Jenn your soo funny with the ideas of getting her out! Jenice I think fundal height is just an estimate so a few cms out is not a problem! I just love my little guy cant help watching him all the time, he has such big eyes (people always comment) and lots of dark hair he loves looking around (even tho he probably cant even focus) think he'll be a heartbreaker, bet everyone says that about their children tho! Speak to you all soon!

SO I just got back from my appt. I have made virtually NO progress. She is still -3, 1 1/2 cm dialated. The only difference I have made in that last two weeks is that I am now 50% effaced. So 20% more then last week. BUT Her eviction notice has come at last! She has til Monday to come on her own otherwise I am being induced with Cervadil. :D He did say however that if I make definate progress and show signs of labor that he may want to wait for me to go in on my own but that doesnt look like it is going to happen. So more then likely unless like I said she goes to like -1 and I am 100% effaced and 3 cm ect he will definatly induce me. I am so excited and scared and terrified. haha I think I liked it better NOT knowing when she was coming. haha Anyways I hope everyone is doing awesome. JAIME~ That sucks! I hope my hospital is a little better! Here I know they dont offer the nursey thing unless something is wrong with baby. They like the baby to be with you. I dont mind that although it would be nice to have some time to myself after the whole ordeal. WOW a golf ball size clot!? Is that normal or? What kind of pads are you using anyways? Anyone who has given birth so far? Will like ultra super duper maxis with wings do the job or? LESLEY~ Poor you! Not only is your body tired from the labor but from animia too!? Get some rest when you can! SHALA~ Glad you had fun!! Wow 2 months!! That is awesome for you and your little family! When do you think you will be moving with him? Will you guys be house hunting or something after the baby gets there? Anyways I am gonna go do something. I think Ill research Cervadil. YAY!!! Im having a baby THIS MONDAY!!! Hopefully. haha Ok Im out!

Jenn~I am using those Kotex pads, the ones that are more cottonish...Those plastic feeling ones have the tendency to irritate the body...and may I suggest getting the mega packs and at least more than one. The first week I was wishing I had bought depends just b/c they gave me these ice pak types things that feel so relieving but with those small pads it's a little uncomfortable to use.

bipolarmommy - February 21

jenn- i used kotex too, with wings! super for the first week and reg for the second is what i did , of course too much activity will put ya right back in the giant ones.. i found that out the hard way.:( but if you would normally use tampons instead of pads.. it might get painful. anyways i g2g

jmejo2 - February 21

Leslie~it sucks you had to be readmitted. When I pa__sed that clot I was freaking thinking I would have to go back...I made hubby do all the getting up, making the bottles and all and just laid in bed with the baby in her pack and play right next to the bed so I could just reach over and scoop her out. I could handle bedrest as long as I could still take care of Hayden. When I got out of the hospital I told my hubby if there are any emergencies take me to a different hospital-even if it's in another state...lol

Hi all. just to let you know that baby Amelie arrived on her due date yesterday. She is so adorable cant get over how lovelely she is - just looking at her has brought me to tears a number of times. The birth went well and it was 5hrs 20 minutes labour (5cms by time I reached hospital) then the pain really started and getting in to the birthing pool was bliss - would recommend it to anyone for pain control, had that and entonox ! Got home from hospital today. Having a few problems b___st feeding amd getting Amelie satisfied and settled - hopefully when the milk comes in that will improve though. Will post back soon as baby is crying - I need to feed her, and eat my dinner at the same time as that is also ready!!

Jenn, congrats. There is light at the end of the tunnel. I just got back from the surgeon where they cut into my b___st and incised out an abscess. He got out about a half a can of pus out of my b___st. I am in so much pain, but am hoping that eventually I will feel better. Well I am going to go and rest, but will check back in later.

treshala - February 21

Jenn~ I know you are glad that Aaliyah has an official date to evacuate lol. Im so happy for you girl. Demond's lease on his apt is up this july...im sure we will get another apt before we look into a house. We'll more than likely live in Irving for a while. Are you guys talking about pads after birth? I havent wore a pad in forever but i bought always overnight...should i get kotex? Nemo~congrats and im happy for you and baby. Sarah~sorry about the surgery but i hope that you get to feeling better. Ok you guys...i am sooooo p__sed...well frustrated. my last doc appt i was tested for StrepB and i called to get results and the nurse told me i was negative...well i went today to my appt. and the doc. told me that i tested POSITIVE for strep B...he said that i would have to stay in hospital for another day...me and baby...im just mad that the nurse told me wrong...ill be right back

jennifer_33106 - February 21

Thanks Megan and Jaime! I always used always but kotex seems to be the favorite. I wish I could just use tampons. They are so much more comfy and less mess you know? NEMO!!! CONGRATS MAMA!!!!! Only a five hour birth! YAY!! COngrats and I am glad everything went well. Sarah~ I hope you start to feel better now!! Hopefuly everything will clear up for you! SHALA~ The GBS is not that bad so dont worry! I would be p__sed though too if the nurse screwed up. Youll get antibiotics every 4 hours and yeah you will have to be there for 48 hours after he is born. I have it too so I will let you know what they do. Anyways I am off to clean! Ill TTYL!!!

treshala - February 21

ok im back. but yeah jenn thnk you so much first of all for the rea__surance...i knew it wasnt bad or anything...im just like...what if i was getting results for something more serious??? thats what you get when you are on medicaid i swear.

treshala - February 21
