Hi ladies, sorry I been MIA but I am in a terrible slump! I cant even make it to my computer!!! lol! I am SOOO tired and miserable I just lay on my couch watching tv!!! Is this happening to anyone else? I should be prepping for baby but I just cant find the strength! I have been having contractions but they never lead to anything. I am scheduled for a c section for the 16th at 11am!!! Looks like everyone is just tryin to get things progressing. I will be checking in to see if anyone is making any progress! Hope it is soon!!!

10 days, me too! So anxious.
I am curious as to my test results. I wish they didn't take so long. If it comes back positive, I wonder if they'll call me and tell me to go in, or if they will just wait until monday. I don't know what I am more anxious for- the test results or to meet the baby! I am actually afraid of the test results. My mom suggested I request a C-section if I do have preeclampsia. I really want a v____al birth, but I know where my mom is coming from, too. What do you think?
Keep your fingers crossed for me that I am just swollen and all these symptoms are non-related and there is no preeclampsia- because I am afraid to death of it!

kmosselle i really hope your results come back ok!! would you not be able to get induced instead of a c-section if they were positive?
breezibi i also have contractions that just come and go! its so frustrating! i think tonight is the night everynight now lol! how come you are having a c-section?

kmoselle - I agree u should try to be induced and c sec as last resort. I have had 2 and wish so badly I could have v____al birth! The recovery is much harder and u feel robbed of the birthing expeirence.
angel - I had to have a c after 16 hours of labor with ds and his heart rate started dropping. So they scheduled dd c and now they are scheduling this one as well. they say it is safer for my uterus than trying to push and risk it busting open. The good thing is I get to go in and 45 min later baby is born! It seems like recovery gets easier with each c. So that makes me feel a lil better this time around. I just keep hoping to go into labor sooner(like now. lol) so that they will do the c at that time. Let me know if you find something that works

hey ya'll. Im still in Florida, only 2 more days left. Im miserable but still enjoying the races. My OB has called to check on me every other day. After hearing a few of the thing that have been going on he wants to see me asap when i get home even if its after hours or the weekend. He wants to go ahead and induce me but i said no. My blood pressure is out of control but it could also be from he stress of watching my fiance risk his life for fun night after night. My pulse is around 130 beats per minute all the time and im so swollen and dizzy. Im hanging in there though. Like i said two more nights of racing then we head home. Its supposed to be 17 degrees tonight. Im convinced we took a wrong turn somewhere and this aint Florida lol.

newbaby- I hear ya on the Florida weather! I actually love it, though. I live here year round and tend to miss dressing up in sweaters, coats and scarfs. So I am happy as a clam right now- especially with this little built in heater I have!!!
This may sound really strange- but is anyone else seeing things? When I get up too fast or stand too long I see tiny black spiders crawling on the walls. I've seen stars before when I get dizzy, like when I am sick, but this is different. It is always in my peripheral vision- not straight in front of me. I am wondering if I should call my doc or if it is just because all the extra weight I am carrying that's causing it. I have gained an additional 7 pounds this week!
Oh- get this-- I went and bought some nursing bras yesterday. I am normally a 38C. I am now a 40F!!! Geez! where did DD go? Heck, what about E? How did i go from C to F? Unreal! My b___bs don't look that big to me. But then again, they are sitting on a huge watermelon and for the first time ever they are looking at the floor and not straight ahead. Fun stuff, ladies!!!

hey ladies,lisa here.im 37+4 today.had show this mornin!feeling kinda achy now.hope something is gonna happen tonight;this is second baby for me.last time had regular contractions six hours after show.!

I think my mucus plug is starting to come out. I just got some thick white discharge. Guess there is a lot more stringy mucus to follow. But at least it's a start and some progress.
I was having contractions, 60 seconds long, 15 minutes apart. That lasted 4 hours, now nothing in the last hour. Hmm.
Tomorrow is my sisters birthday and I think it would be a good day to have my baby on!!!

ok so im thinking flybear has had her baby!? she was like a week and a few days ahead of me so she,d be overdue by now............or she did mention about having trouble logging in? i hope she,s had the baby!! if not you will be soon lol!! good luck or congrats to flybear!

Yay, home from Florida! 38 weeks 3 days today. Exactly how far along i was when i had my daughter so its definately not true your 2nd comes sooner. Not really having any labor symptons at all. Just losing a bit of mucous plug every few hours. Have an occasional braxton hicks. I was 2 cm dilated 2 weeks ago, have another check Monday. I have very bad swelling. I cant bend my ankles or close my hands. It actually got worse overnight. Usually the swelling goes down by morning. I think im stuck with it until i have her.

So I met this ladie at mcdonalds play area today who is having her c sec the same day at the same hospital. That was fun! I cant wait!!
Newbaby - have you seen your doc yet since you been hme? How did your hubby do with the race?

Did everyone hit nesting yet? I wish i would!!! I plan on doing one room at a time this week and then a final go over valentine weekend so all will be ready for the 16th when I go in for c sec.
I will check in with you ladies tomarrow. Hope someone goes soon!!! I am dying to here a birthing story!!!

So I did still have flybear on my myspace and today was her induction date!!!! I am thinking she is at the hospital and hopefully holding her lil one!!!

Hi ladies,
Well I have been nesting like crazy.... cleaned the entire house with my sisters help and today did some yard clean up with my husbands help. I am paying for it now - I have a really sore back. I had my OBGYN appointment on Friday and it looks like my C will be happening next Thursday on the 12th of Feb. I will still be on standby - so I will go in at 8 am and wait for the OR to be free... which sucks and I am still hoping that someone with a booked OR date and time will go into labour before that and I can have their spot. I am very nervous as it is and going in and waiting for hours at end will put me over the edge. I don't want to be cut again, but I think it was the right choice considering my delivery with my daughter. Speaking of my poor daughter she is sick again. I couple of weeks ago she had bronchitis was on antibiotics and got better. 10 days later on Wednesday she had a fever again with no other apparent symptoms although she did say her ears were sore, but seemed her cheeper self during the day. By Friday both her eyes had discharge and got inflamed and she complained more about her ears.
She is back on antibiotics and one of them is for her eyes - it is really hard to get her to let us put this stuff in her eyes... I can't say I blame her. This morning her eyes were crusted shut and she was freaking out about not being able to see. I was trying to get her to let me wash her eyes so she could open them... that took us a half an hour... poor baby.... needless to say I haven't had a good night sleep for ever and I don't think that will change anytime soon.
Baby is moving less - I think he is running out of room. Today I actually had to lay down in the morning to do a movement count... he was somewhat more active in the afternoon. I am worried of course about everything... my upcoming C, my daughter being sick, baby being OK.. I know I need to relax but it doesn't seem possible at the moment.
newbaby, it is great that you made it back home with the baby still in your tummy.
It seems everyone is still waiting... I am 38 weeks and 2 days as of today and even though I have my C on Thursday I was convinced that will all the cleaning and yard work I put my self into labour today, but I got nothing but BH contractions... oh well..
To all of you ladies in waiting - I wish you good luck and a quick and easy delivery... I don't know if I will have time to come on here in the next couple of days and than my baby will arrive.... I can't wait to see him, yet I am scared of the C and how things will turn out...

breezieb- no havnt been yet. he wanted to see me asap but we've had so much to do. My appt. is tomorrow at 1. Ryan did very well at the winter nationals considering we were up against the teams of Kasey Kayne, Tony Stewart, etc.

Hey guys sorry been kinda busy. Well...37.2 now! I wanted to answer the question bout my pre-clampsia. Yeah it was pretty bad. It was not noticed until 37 weeks. Went into my apt., nurse looked at me, called for the doc immediately, and while she was weighing me he was calling me into the hospital. WOW what a mess. I had gained 6 pounds in one week so they induced me that day. Couldnt even go home. Def. wasn't ready. Well that was not the end. 5 hours into labor they were putting the epidural in my back and i had a 30 second ceasure. Never have had one in my life. Needless to say they did an emergency c-sec. Very scary! Well.......things are not looking to good now either. Last mondy i had an apt. and the doc said i had gained 6 pounds in 2 weeks. Well...I just got on the scale and since last monday i have gained another 7-8 pounds and since thursday i have had very bad swelling. Checked my bp tonight though and it was higher then normal but not bad. Usually runs bout 102/60, it's up to 117/78 so it came up some but not dangerous. So, i don't know what he is going to do. I am extremely miserable and wish he would just move my c-sec up some. Especially with my history it's worrisome. well goodluck to everyone, i have my apt. tomorrow morning at 10:30 so, well we will see.....
