I'm 31 weeks now. I think the 'nesting' bug may have finally bitten me. I spent practically all weekend trying to get the place in order and honestly I didn't get that much done. I had to rest after every like 30 mins of cleaning... uggg... How's everyone else doing?

I have been dying to really clean for about a month now. But with work and school and the reserves, I seriously had no time to clean they way I really wanted to. But I was finally able to "nest" over the long Thanksgiving weekend! I cleaned my entire house from top to bottom. I cleaned out closets and drawers and cupboards. I did all the laundy and went through everything and either put it in storage, sold it on ebay or gave it away. This weekend (in a sparkling clean kitchen) I baked. I don't know why or what got into me but I baked 3 types of cookies- about 400 of them! The girls at work loved me for it this morning!!!

Today my baby had the hiccups- I think. It was the first time I ever felt anything like it. I got little jumps on the very top of my belly this morning. It lasted about 5 minutes and every 10-15 seconds my belly would jump. It was the weirdest feeling! I am a__suming they were hiccups. And then he was very active after it stopped. Has anyone else felt their baby have the hiccups? Is that what it was?

I feel like I am ready to pop. I'm having trouble "rolling" out of bed every 2 hours in the middle of the night. I feel the baby from my belly b___ton up! I'm thinking he is head down already and that is why all the kicks are at the top of my belly. I have another ultrasound on Wednesday. Can't wait to see him again! This time the 4D should show him so clearly!!!

OMG, how were you guys logging in last week? This site was frustrating me. I could not log in, I tried everyday several times... oh well... Anyways, I'm 32 weeks today and so freaking tired. I practically slept the weekend away. I'm so ready to have this lil one.

Horrible weekend. I had my military drill, my dog got hurt and had to have surgery last night and to top it off, I got a flat tire. I guess because of all the stress over the weekend I was not able to sleep last night. Finally fell asleep at 1am but woke up at 4am with a terrible charlie horse in my leg. Then had to get up at 6am to go to work. Fun stuff. Hope you guys had a better weekend than me!

Hi, I'm Stacy and I am due 2/8/09 with my first baby...a girl. I was wondering has anyone else be diagnosed with Preeclampsia? I am 32 weeks and I was diagnosed at 30 weeks. The dr doesn't want to deliver me any later than 37 weeks.

My sister had preclampsia. She was pregnant with twins. Doctor made her have them 5 weeks early. She described it like an allergic reaction to the pregnancy. Her symptoms were severe water retention and extremely high blood pressure. She swelled up starting around 30 weeks- her feet were like marshmallows and even her nose and ears were even retaining water! Finally doctor made her go to hospital. Good luck to you.

stacyk3107 - December 15

I haven't had the sever swelling but I have the intense headaches, protein in my urine and oca__sional high blood pressure readings. The dr is having me come in twice a week for NST and evaluation. I also have a nurse that calls me once a day to get my blood pressure reading and my protein in my urine (I have to check these things at home). I haven't gone on bed rest yet. The dr is letting me work but as soon as I am off work I have to go straight home and rest all night. It's going to be a short 5 more weeks! But I am so glad my doctor is watching me very closely because some women have dr's that take preecclampsia lightly and then the women ends up having seziures and other issues. It's very sad. If anyone else has preeclampsia, the Preeclampsia Organization website is a great tool, just google it. It really hopes to take to others with the same issue.

FlyBear - December 16

Luckily I don't have preeclampsia or any other issues so far. I feel really lucky to have a healthy pregnancy so far. I still have 7w6d till my due date though... it feels like sooooo long. I'm going to try and work 5 more weeks after this week. That way I hopefully have at least a week of rest before the lil one comes, although I wouldn't mind if he came a little early.

kmoselle - December 16

I hear ya flybear! A few weeks early would be ok with me. I have been waiting to be a mommy for so long I really can't believe he is almost here! Lately he has some part of his body pressing against and sticking out of the upper right part of my belly. It feels so sensitive when I touch it, it actually hurts! I think, from what I can feel of the shape of it, that it is an arm or a leg with the elbow or knee poking out. I have an ultrasound tomorrow and can't wait to find out what it is.
