Snappy- I had a rountine ultrasound at 31 weeks and thats when hey discovered the low fliud levels. No, there is nothing they can do about my pain. My doc says it will disappear after delivery. I just dont know if i can take 6 more weeks of it. Words cant even describe he pain. My doc compared it to having a broken foot untreated for 20 weeks and being forced to walk on it. About weight gain, my starting weight was 135 and im at 167 so 32 lbs. Its all belly and b___b. I went from a small C to a DD. Before i had my 18 month old daughter i was a small B. I went up to a D with her and stayed at a C afterwards. I m hoping to go back to a small C. I have a small frame and its so hard on my back.

Welcome Snappy! I have a horrible head cold too. I can barely breathe through my nose and when I can my throat gets raw. Lots of sneezing, too. Doc says it's because our body softens all of our mucous membranes in preparation for delivery Fun stuff. This is my first baby. We have wanted a baby for a long time but it was never the right time- military, college, I was unemployed for 6 months, apartment living, etc. So early last year we finally settled down and bought a house and planted some roots and decided we'd start trying in June- after I finished the law enforcement academy. Come June, we found out we were 6 weeks along already!!! Timing was perfect. I want another baby right away but DH is unsure. He has 2 kids from a previous marriage. I asked for a year before he gets snipped. I plan on b___stfeeding for a year- or at least b___stfeeding for 6 months and pumping for the next 6 months. (I don't want to do formula at all.) We know that b___stfeeding reduces the chances of pregnancy. So we are going to lay it in Gods hands. If I get pregnant while b___stfeeding- yeah! If not, we will just take it as a sign that it's not meant to be and he'll get fixed.

Wow, I'm gone for a day and missed all of that!!! Normally this board is slow. I don't even have time to read it all cause I'm about to be off work. I'll have to catch up at home. lol Anyways, OMG ladies, long story but I feel so much better now. I do have TMJ but it wasn't just flaring up like originally thought. Wednesday night I was crying for hours and my whole head was literally throbbing, I was starting to get some swelling in my jaw and everything. I slept a total of about 2hrs broken up into short naps. I was miserable, so first thing Thursday morning I called the dentist practically in tears and she told me she'd call me back after she talked to the dentist but intead I got a call from an endodontist. So I set up an appointment with them. Now, my husband and I have only been married now for a couple of months although we've been together for a while. So he's in the military and as soon as he listed me officially as his wife my tricare health insurance picked up and I was covered. HE is automatically covered for health and dental and all. Anyways we were so busy trying to have a smooth transition from one insurance to the other and making sure everything was ago for baby that I neglected/overlooked/forgot...whatever, to check on the dental and he was under the impression that it picked up right away too like health (cause it does for him, he HAS to go to dental and health checkups regularly). Anyways, it didn't, so I didn't have any dental coverage. Which sucks even more considering it only takes like 10-14 business days to set up the dental insurance, no underwriting, you just sign up and as soon as your cards get there you're free to use them and it's very very inexpensive. :( So Wednesday night the pain had finally settled into a certain tooth and I knew that had to be the cause of the problem. So I saw the endodontist and he x-rayed my mouth and sure enough under the filling I had in that tooth there was some blockage building up and causing some extreme pressure. I have had a root ca___l once before and it wasn't a big deal. I had gone in for a check up with my dentist and he noticed it and referred me and I got it done, but this one was soooooo painful. He numbed it and then after starting the proceedure had to stop and numb it more like 3 times. He said the nerve was just overreacting to everything and really going crazy. So it cost us $975.00 yesterday but I have zero pain today. I feel like absolute c___p about costing us that much money, but I tell you, sometimes there is just no price you can put on your health. We just felt lucky to have the money to do it cause had it been a month ago we wouldn't have. I love my husband soooo much too cause he didn't even blink, he was just like do it. I just want her to feel better. And all night long he was just telling me how glad he was that I felt better.

omg breeziebe!! thats horible! im so sorry you have to go through this! i hope you manage to sort something out! im so sorry!

snappy - January 10

Hi ladies, Breezibe, I am so sorry about your husband - I can not imagine having my husband in jail. I can't imagine being jailed for an unpaid ticket - in your case paid ... where are you from? I hope you are OK and I hope maybe something changed and your husband is out of jail and home with you.... Angelmonkey, my doctor told me that women who are underweight do need to gain a substantial amount so the body can sustain the pregnancy. My neighbor who is skinny as a stick gained 60 lb. with all three of her pregnancies - she lost all the weight within 3-4 months after having the babies. Newbaby, it is interesting how your b___bs stayed bigger after you had your daughter - mine did too. I was a B before I had her I went up to a C while pregnant with her and to a D while b___st-feeding her - I remained a C cup after I was done even though I lost all the weight I gained while pregnant and some.

FlyBear - January 10

Breezie, we're stationed in New Orleans and it's definitely not my favorite place to live. I'm sorry that happened. At least he didn't end up there all weekend. I know that doesn't make up for him having to be there as long as he did though... :( How far along is everyone now? I'm 35w 6d...and I'm getting impatient. lol

angelmonkey - January 11

im 35 weeks 1 day...............im so uncomfortableespecially after i eat i feel like my ribs are going to break out of my skin!, i have to have a bath everynight maybe twice a day just to releive it all.......i cant wait to meet my littleone

FlyBear - January 12

Angel, doesn't it feel like forever? :( I'm 36 weeks today. I have an u/s and checkup this morning although I'm pretty sure my dr doesn't start doing pelvic exams again until I'm full term at 37 weeks. I'm really hoping everything looks good with my u/s today. As much as I want him out now I actually would prefer that he just be happy and healthy even if that does mean a couple more weeks... sigh. Anyways, I was getting so frustrated yesterday cause I was trying to do laundry and it hurt to bend over and I couldn't reach all the laundry in the dryer when I was trying to take it out. I had to get my husband to get the laundry out of the freaking dryer for me. lol I felt like a big fat retard. :)

35w2d today! And I have another appointment today. Good thing, too, I have tons of questions! I have these weird teeny-tiny blood filled blisters around the area my belly ring used to be. It does not look normal! And I hope they check down there today. I wonder if I'm dialated at all. I had some horrible bh over the weekend- very painful, sharp contractions, not the normal come-and-go pressure I had been feeling. We are definately getting closer! Baby is so active this morning, too. Where he is finding the extra room to move around, I'm not sure. I am extremely swollen again today. My fingers are all tingly and so filled with water that I can't grip small things- not even a pen! I am glad to hear everyone is doing good! Breezie- that is really sucky about dh. That should not have happened. I'm glad it all got cleared up fairly quickly! Flybear- nice to hear your mouth feels better. I couldn't imagine the pain. And I can't imagine angelmonkey's pain going from a C to a G- is that cup size you mean? Those must be huge! Well, ladies, it's off to work for me!

angelmonkey - January 12

flybear good luck with your scan! i have a midwife appointment tomorrow, im going to see if she can check me as i have so much pressure down there...........i got my other half to do it this morning and he said he didnt feel anything that seemed open but he said my cervix seemed very soft........surley thats a good sign? kmosselle yes it was painful lol! and yea that is cup size! they dont seem to be full of anything anymore though just what i imagine them to look like after bf lol! they have my belly to sit on now but jeesh i dont want to imagine what there going to look like after lol

kmoselle - January 12

Well I just left my doctor's office. He listened to the heartbeat for a second then asked how I was doing. I showed him my blood blisters on my belly b___ton and he said, just pregnancy related. Then I showed him my hands and ankles and asked how i can reduce the swelling. He said- delivery! He said my blood pressure is really good, so nothing I can do but put my feet up after work and relax. Guess DH will have to do all the cooking and cleaning for the next month :-)
