Hi Ladies, Well I have never heard of papaya enzymes either? But feel your pain on the heart burn / reflux problem - I have actually woken up with acidy relfux in my mouth - SORRY i know its gross!!! :( I try peppermint tea during the day which is ok but not a huge help and Mylanta liquid at night - but I must be starting to get used to it cause its not as effective. Would be interested to know about the papaya enzymes too if anyone has any info......

I believe that Papaya enzymes work wonders! I have been a fan of these my whole life! If you live in an area that you can get actual papaya, that works even better! Go to the health food store and ask someone and they will be glad to help you! Just make sure you don't get the ones with the sugar added, bc it's just more calories that aren't necessary! Good luck! I have taken them my whole pregnancy instead of Tums! I don't have heartburn or indigestion, but I eat a few papaya enzymes after each meal! Maybe thats my secret to none of the problems! Good luck!

You guys, I've been dying with heartburn, then my sister in law said that her dr. prescribed her Zantac, so I went and got non-prescription strength, I think 75 mg, and it' s been the BEST EVER, no heartburn whatsoever.
