ok, where i live (in the desert in CA) its about 115 degrees, so im a bit trapped inside. also, after my morning sickness finally went away at about 6months, it is back and i am throwing up every afternoon. (i am 32weeks 3 days) i have heartburn that i fear is going to burn a hole in my esophagus and pooping causes me pain like you wouldnt believe. ok...thanks for listening, i thought that venting may take some of the power out of it....and i do realize that once my son is here in 48 days (scheduled repeat csection on 8/22) that all of this discomfort will be just a big blur.

You poor thing! I am so sorry you are feeling so c___ppy. I can only imagine the heat where you live. I am in Washington State, and it is only about 75* here, but I have the AC on in the house set at 68* to keep me from dripping sweat. I am 37 weeks 2 days and so ready for this to be over. Can your OB put you on anything for the heartburn? Is it hemorhoids (sp) that are bothering you when you poop? What about some of those Tucks medicated pads to help with the pain? The sickness coming back is just plain cruel. I really feel bad for you. If you want to talk, I am here a lot.

I feel you, I'm in the mountains in San Diego. We average about 100. Went to the water to watch the fireworks and it was warm but comfortable! Luckily it does cool down some at night, where we used to live it just stayed hot all day and all night and we didn't get an air conditioner til it was already cooler. I'm only 24 weeks 3 days but barely showing and really don't feel or notice I'm pregnant at times. I lucked out this time, with dd it was awful. I'm sorry your so uncomfortable. I get so grouchy when I'm uncomfortable, I'd be horrible if I were in your shoes! Its getting there tho our central air went out and can't get it fixed til Monday : (.

you ladies are so sweet. :) mjv...i see you here alot so i probably will take you up on your offer to talk. i have an apt. on friday, so i may ask about the heartburn medicine. my worry is that i already am on anti-depressants ( i suffered from depression a couple years back and it returned this pregnancy. due to post-partum depression fear, i was put on them) plus i take stool softeners for constipation so i feel like im taking too much. so ya, i get hemorrhoids ( have off and on my whole life) coupled with the constipation is the source of my pain. prep h is my friend. lol. thanks ladies!

Definitely ask about the heartburn medication. There is no reason you should have to deal with that pain. I don't think that stool softner medication is anything to worry about, the OB will tell you if he thinks you are taking too much, or maybe there is something better he can put you on. Try to keep your spirits up. Like I said I am here a lot, and you can always find me, usually on the third tri boards. I am a stay at home mom, so I am home a lot. My next check is thursday and I am hoping to have progressed more.

Yea I don't usually frequent the trimester boards. My group just switched to the toddler board!! Wow time flies! Occationally I peep thru other boards tho. I'm getting back into the Oct board so I'll be this way more often, starting to need a little more support of folks who know what I'm going thru. I don't look pregnant so ppl I guess think I shouldn't feel pregnant?! I know I worried when I got my wisdom tooth pulled 1 1/2 weeks ago over the meds I took. If the doc says its safe then its probably better to take them, than feel sad and depressed. I know after you reach 90 degrees its like every degree it just gets worse and worse so I hope your staying cool and comfy. I'm from the midwest and they think its horrible to go out thru the winter but I'd rather do that than have to go out here sometimes, haha! Take care!

Ugh, the heat is probably not helping your BHs. Stay very well hydrated. I started getting a frequent number when the temperature went up here. My heartburn is bad too. It is better when I avoid tomato sauces, oj, black tea (even noncaffeinated). The pain is indeed awful. Sometimes, the baby kicks me at about 3 AM, which makes the stomach acid go up my esophagus and make me spit up/dry heave. Not fun. Laying on the left side, propped up, tends to keep your esophagus higher, which means less stomach acid getting up there. You will remember the discomfort, but it will be nothing compared to the discomfort of the birth, and in your case, the recovery from a Caeserian. Sorry, but consider it practice :o It won't matter as much when you see your son though. There will be pain, but your whole purpose changes, and the pain won't bother you as much. Does that make sense? Good luck!

Oh Leslie- you poor thing. I don't me to laugh at you at all...I just chuckled when I read the second post about the BH's and then you said "ok, now I'm done. It just makes a person realize how much the female body goes through!!!!! Hang in there....but keep venting away!!
