JULIA, don't lose hope yet :) Really a woman can be 3 cm dilated and not have her baby for weeks and another woman can be not even 1cm dilated and have her baby within days! Don't worry as none of these checks tell you when your baby is coming. It could be anytime! Just think each day that that day could be the day.

oh man, kendra, I don't know? I think that your baby can drop as you go into labor especially with babies after your first. I read that first babies will usually drop earlier (weeks before labor) but with 2nd, 3rd and so on they won't drop until you go into labor. Definitely go to the mall and walk! IT's air conditioned and you can window shop, lol :) Last Friday when I was having those uncomfortable BH contractions every 5 mins for a couple of hours I'd walked a lot in walmart and the mall when it started happening. I'm thinking I might go walk on the treadmill today at the workout room, but I'm so tired I just doubt I'll muster the energy to actually do it, lol ;)

ok girls sorry it took me so long to post.....what a crazy day.....it seemed like we were gone all day yesterday I will post a new bump photo tonight...LOL.....after my appointment we had to run all over town and get stuff for my youngest's birthday party...he turned 5 we had some family and friends over OK - I AM GOING TO HAVE A C-SECTION I CAN'T FRIGGIN BELIEVE IT - I ALWAYS KNEW IT WAS A POSSIBILITY BUT NOW I AM SCARED TO DEATH. Doctor thinks baby is too big - she is measuring really big already and even though my last one was 9.4 he just doesn't want to risk delivering a 10 pound plus baby.....ok so I say you don't really know that she's going to be that big you are guestimating so they did another ultrasound and it's confirmed but can't they still be wrong? I know there are pros and cons to each kind of birth so I am trying to focus on the positive - like my hoo haa won't be all traumatized this time but major surgery doesn't seem like that great of a trade off but I really don't want to take any chances it's too late in the game to have something go wrong now.....I was very upset yesterday and I couldn't really deal with it because I had to put on a happy face for the party and everyone attending but my bff had a fibroid tumor removed and her uterus repaired and it was kind of like a c-section she said it wasn't all that bad and I will have the baby to distract me - I AM JUST SO DISAPPOINTED I talked to my dh and well he said he wouldn't want to rish either of us and that in the end we will still have a beautiful baby but what really sucks is that only my dh will be able to be in the room when she is born (which I know is how it should be anyway but still) I have to call tomorrow and they will let me know which day they are going to schedule me for hopefully it will still be next week.....and on Wednesday......it's so stressful....thinking about going up and down the stairs and just getting up and down period but if they do it next week then my mom will be here until the 8th of July so i will have lots of help which will be nice....ok girls - STEF - there isn't much you can do at this point to hurt little AVA so just relax anyway....

Hey girls, I haven't been on because I've been so freakin' LAZY, hahaha. All I've been doing is messing around with my little girlie all day, I'm trying to get her ready for the baby, I was showing her baby pictures of herself today. TINA, can't they induce you now??? So you don't have to have a c-section AND the baby doesn't get any bigger? Plus they are wrong a lot...with the guessing of the weight and whatnot. It just seems not very fair for you to opt for surgery just because your dr. is "afraid" to deliver a large baby...

Oh Tina, I'm sorry about the c-section...I know surgery sounds scary, but at the same time at least for me, the thought of delivering a 10 lb baby freaks me out completely, lol! I'd rather have a c-section, but I've had surgery before more than once and am not bothered by it. I do hope they can keep your date though. I'd think they would want to do it early enough that you won't go into labor before the scheduled date, don't you think?

Oh, forgot to post this...at my last appt. I asked my dr. if she was going to do an u/s (this is the 2nd time I've asked her) and she said yes, probably at 38 weeks and then she said, soooo, not the next appointment, but the one after".....She was on her way out the door so I didn't question it, but if she does it NEXT Friday instead of tomorrow, I'll be 39 WEEKS! Tomorrow I am 38, but for some reason I think she is measuring me a day behind what I've always gone by or something. So tomorrow she is thinking of me as 37 weeks 6 days.....does that make sense? I could scream. I do not want to wait until I'm about in labor for h er to do an u/s and see how Ava's growth is. I feel like I am smaller now than I was a week or 2 ago which is bizarre! I don't feel like baby has dropped any more either. Hmmmm....I've got too much time on my hands right now to sit and wonder about stupid things, lol ;)

TINA! omg, I just now got your text message ( my cell phone is always in my purse and I rarely hear it--i need to start keeping it by my bed)....Oh man, I'm sorry they sent you home from l&d :( How are you feeling today?

Sorry to hear about you needing a C-Section. But hey, you don't want to risk anyone. Your Husband is right. You will be in my prayers. Just think, in a few days, you will have your beautiful baby! :) How do I post a website address on here?

I've been feeling super werid.. my stomach is still sore.. like i havent eaten in days.. and i feel like im going to puke .. i ate a banana n honestly.. it wont last in me i know ima throw up soon.. i just feel so werid. i had a home visit from this program and i started to get these bad cramps and i wanted it to be over.. im not getting contractions its just im SORE and i dont know where its coming from.

I thought you did Kendra he he.. He just hasnt dropped all the way then huh... My baby is moving like crazy today.. it kinda hurts. i think she wants out :) I think i dropped too, she is not as high as she was yesterday. Yesterday i could feel her right under my b___bs and now she is a bit lower and alot more pressure on my bladder... Which is ok with me. :) Man she is moving sooo much

Just like i knew i threw up.. i kinda feel better.. im just concern that it wasn't the banana.. it was a yellowish clear liquid.. but its out of my system.. it kinda gives me a relief.. stomach is still sore and hard though..

Maybe you should call your doctor.

JULIA, call your doctor about this. It sounds like you puked up bile which is not good. You could just be having acid reflux or something, but it could be more serious so just let someone know ok??? HILLARY, my little one is doing the same thing today! I was laying in bed reading while the carpet cleaners came to do the rest of the house and she was actually hurting me with her kicks! Now she's more calm, but it kind of freaked me out for a bit!

i just ate some lunch i do feel alot better.. if the throwing up prisit than ill call my doc.. but i think im ok for now..
