oh yah forgot to mention we did a baby poll (when ill give birth; babys weight & length) only 1 person said id go to july 1. otherwise early june are my dates lol. we measured me i measured 35 3/4 weeks. so almost 4 weeks ahead; they are determining ill go probably before fathers day? who knows i see the obgyn on Thursday we will see what she thinks his weight is; & if hes head down yet

Girl, you start these new threads so fast I can't keep up, LOL! I just get used to one and then there is a new one, ha ha :) Sounds like you had a good shower! I'm more excited for the one I have this weekend b/c it is for all my friends. I should know more after it what I still need to go out and buy. I'm getting so excited to put everything in it's place and be ready to go! I wish I were measureing ahead...I think I am right on to my dates. In fact at my 30 week appt. my doc said I measured 29.5cm, so actually a tiny bit behind. It's funny though how everyone at the shower is like "you are HUGE!", blah blah blah...like I'm going to pop any minute and I tell them nooooo I still have like 2 months! Actually now It is about 7 weeks. I'm so glad to be where I am and Ava is active I just am excited to get to 36 weeks so I can get another u/s and know that I could have her at any time after that point :) It was weird to realize too when I left my mom's yesterday that we probably won't be back there visiting until after the baby is born! I'm busy every weekend here at home until like FAther's day and that is getting to close to my due date to go out of town. WOW!!!!!!

How fun. I still have until next month for my shower. My doctor never measures me. How do you measure yourself to see if your measuring right??? What do you use? Im 32 weeks on Wednesday YAY. Almost here :) I have a feeling im going to be on time or late. I wouldnt mind being a little early but i dont know if thats gonna happen he he

stef- i know right im so excited too; strad was moving like crazy MY FRIENDS WERE LIKE OMFG your huge kendra; i know i dont think i can expand anymore; i think my belly b___ton will actually pop out this time. yah for me!!! ==] i think it will so cute to see. hehe. im excited & thrilled im ordering the crib tomorrow so im excited it will be here in time hopefully. i think i will be an early mommy. i hope you ladies aren't far behind me. ---i know this might be TMI- but me & strad had s_x last nite & afterwards it felt like i was going to go into labor; i hurt so bad & it was so painful. i hated it. hopefully little strad stays in a bit longer. PRECIOUS- your so lucky ultrasound i dont know if i get another one. d__nit but im excited for yours

well glad to hear that your guys showers went so good. mine isnt till june 7. but thats ok with me. im cut off form buying anymore things though. my dh says that we need to leave things for other people to buy us. i know but its hard when i find such cute stuff. it is going to be so dang hot here this week. 90 on thursday 95 on friday and 90+ on saturday. it was snowing here like 3 weeks ago. what is really going on. it went straight from winter to summer. my dr told me last week that i am the pix perfect 8 mnth pregnant women. he has not changed my due date and i measure right on. yah!!! i think. i have gained only 24 lbs so far. i was bragging about not having many stretch marks and then i woke up and had some. nice!!! well im in school now so i have to get to cla__s. ill check in later

serves you right kolleen- thats what happened with me with kelsey lol.. i was bragging & next thing i knew i had strechies lol. its okay. sucks your showers so far away (d__n i had mien at 32 weeks; just considering recommended is between 32-34 weeks due to 36 weeks is FULL TERM.)

Make sure your nails are well-trimmed and wash your hands. The best way to reach your cervix is usually sitting on the toilet or standing with one foot up on something like the side of the tub. Your cervix normally feels kind of firm, like the end of your nose. If you have started to efface then it will feel more like your cheek. There will be a little dimple in the middle of it.....the os or opening. If this feels more like a hole than an indentation, then you've started to dilate. Dilation is measured in centimeters, so you'll judge by how wide the hole feels to your fingertips. One fingertip is usually about 2 cm. All that said, how far dilated and effaced you are really says nothing about when you will go into labor. You can walk around for a week or more at 3-4 cm dilated and 100% effaced (I did). Or you can be closed up tight as a bank vault and have a baby a few hours later. Cervical checks really give very little useful information. --------------------------has anyone tried this ?

Hey everyone I am having a hard time keeping up with these threads too...lol. But anyways Brooklynn's head is still down measuring 33inches at 32 weeks..I can't believe its almost over. My babyshower is on the 24th so yay, im so excited to see what I will get lol. Most everyone thinks I am going to have brooklynn in June...which wouldn't surprise me to much. My family is famous for having babies earlier then expected...but you never know right? I am good getting more and more bh contractions they suck so much. Well thats all i can think to say right now I will drop in later.

hey girls, long day and I'm beat but we have the childbirth cla__s soon. Only 2 left! I'll have to check back in later but just wanted to say hi! I'm getting very nervous for labor all of a sudden because I guess today of all days every person I've ever known to have kids decided to call and talk about how horrible labor was for them. Nice.

Ok girls sorry I haven't checked in - The shower was so awesome and I will load pictures sometime this week.....STEF you are right women love buying for little girls....that's what sucks about registering they get off cheap with clothes and don't bother looking at your registry....but I got my crib, carseat/stroller is on the way....walker...and my auntie is bringing my changing table up when she comes up to see the baby - I will most likely be changing Megan downstairs or on my bed since I won't be going upstairs to change her...LOL I got my boppy that was one concern I had....I got tons of clothes sadly most were newborn and up to 6 months so I took back everything with gift receipts regardless of how much I liked it and tried to find 9 month - 1 year sizes so I have some of the bigger sizes she is hardly going to wear some of this smaller stuff more than a couple of times.....I have another shower on June 22 so we'll see that's 3 days before my induction - but my bf is very good about bossing people so she will tell them to get stuff off of the registry or get clothes 9 months and bigger....the thing that kinda sucks is that winter clothes won't really be out......oh well I'll just get what I need when I need it and stop stressing out about it now...my boys always have clothes when they need them....LOL ....I will happily wear the same c___p over and over so my kids are well taken care of...it's funny I wasn't always like that.....I have so many clothes it's ridiculous! lol ok ladies - more later......hugs to you all and I got caught up on what the latest is.....I have been up late the last couple of nights and I am wiped out! I plan to be in bed by 830 today...oh and my parents pop up camper isn't ready so they aren't leaving until Wednesday! woo hoo

cors- im thankful. i got alot of little & big clothes lol. plus three of my close friends had boys within the last 7 months so i have all there stuff they are giving me too. okay so i ordered the CRIB =] that was exciting for my crib, mattress & mattress cover protector it only cost 418.00 which is really good if you ask me!!!! this is a new expensense lol kelseys stuff was all bought for me. this time i had 100.00 towards the crib(from my dad he got that for my shower gift; plus him & his girlfriend bought 3 outfits from VON MAUR; the most expensive store ever i swear; plus his blanket like Kelsey's the minky dots one (but from von maur with this poem on it; it was like um expensive we will put it that way. lol) so i was blessed with amazing gifts i loved it. hehe. i love when baby arrives cuz you get more gifts lol. kelsey loves to be in his room dont ask why its a mess but she does shes a goof

Kendra, so cute! You do look like you are carrying all in your belly, lol :) That is what a neighbor told me yesterday and I was like nooooo way. If I could take these sweats off right now and show you my a__s and thighs you'd take that back! Ahhh....I don't even care really how much weight I gain as long as baby is healthy :) I have the workout room about 20 yards away so I can always take her with me in her carrier and get on the treadmill as noone is ever in there, so that is my plan for working out (much later) as I'm sure I won't be thinking about that for some time. Well, I think I'm going to get out and enjoy the small bit of sunshine that will be here today...

Good morning girls! - I just want to make sure I wasn' t unclear - I was very grateful for everything I got I was just a little disappointed that I didn't get more items off of my registry....but my little Megan is going to be spoiled rotten..LOL I was able to exchange some of the clothes for bigger sizes at Target yesterday - and I have another few items to exchange at Walmart today.....I got tons and tons of diapers and I am totally stoked about those - I can exchange them for different sizes without receipts especially at Walmart......so my mom and dad are still here I think they might not leave until tomorrow....so that's good.....or maybe even not until Thursday I'll check in again later - I got a forward from Heather but no update -- I'll keep you guys posted! Let's keep those prayers going for her

Tina, I totally understand where you are coming from! I only got 2 packs of diapers (and when I say any of this I don't mean to be ungrateful AT ALL either!) and I just got so many clothes. I know that even as it is without getting more (and I have the big shower Saturday) she probably won't wear all of them. I only got like 2 things off of my registry out of 17 or 18 gifts (and a lot of those gifts contained multiple items). I don't know why people don't like shopping off a registry? It makes it so easy to get stuff. I don't know...I'm kind of hoping for gift cards so that I can just go buy what I need after all is said and done. Opening any presents is so much fun though :))) WEIRD, Ava has the hiccups right now and where I used to get that feeling down low by pubic bone/hip bone, now it is up above and to the left of my belly b___ton! I think she flipped and is head up or something now.
