haha good knowing it was actually velcro. They have a little green light in his blanket for the jaundice they turn on when he's asleep. They have this little blue visor thing that goes over his eyes that look like cloth sungla__ses so it sticks to those.

Ok now that I've caught up on the posts, I swear I would look at my belly in the mirror sometimes and it would look like I had grown overnight. Some of my maternity shirts weren't long enough to cover the basketball anymore. That was sweet of your fiance's family amanda, especially doing it on mother's day. Happy mama's day by the way everybody. I bought myself cheesecake lmao as my treat to myself. It helps since you all are talking about icecream! Have fun at dinner tonight gabby. Thanks lou, you actually aren't too late! I spent the day with lil man then went shopping for lyssa's birthday. I'm gonna go back to the hospital probably around 43O am to spend some time with him since her birthday is tomorrow and I want to be here when she gets up.

They had sibling visiting hours today so my daughter met her little brother for the first time. She'll be 4 tomorrow and looked SO big next to him. She was rubbing his head and kissing it, giving him hugs which were really just like her leaning down and putting her cheek on him. She even sang him lullabyes. The nurse was asking if she was going to help change his diapers and she nodded and she said even the poopie ones? My daughter told her babies don't poop. They nurse said yep they poop just like we do and my daughter says I go pee pee and poopie. I wipe and I was like Liss! she was about to say I wipe my b___t LMAO

hahaha kids are cute I am sure the nurse would have gotten a kick out of that one lol ! I finished the babies bedroom I washed the crib set and put it on and hung some stuff on the wall so it looks cute. I just need to go back over to the old house and get my bag already so i can start putting my stuff in the bag.. I have my pj's,panties,sundress and in case its chilly like its been lately I also packed my black maternity pants (stretchy kind),nursing bra,t-shirt and two outfits for the baby...then I will get the rest together once I bring the bag here- I always have chap stick in my purse so I will have that already. I am going to put my cell charger right next to it so when the time comes i remember to throw it into the bag. I realllly wanna remember my own pads I dont care much for the boats they give you there ..Im sure i will use theirs for the first or second change but i dont wanna come home in it.

I waaaay overpacked. I don't know why I brought tank tops and stuff, the only time I had a shirt on was when I left. I did use my pj pants, but not all. I didn't use any socks or underwear I packed because they gave me those little slipper socks and those wierd fishnet underwear.....I didn't even wanna think about putting my own on with my incision. I didn't use any of the stuff I usually do for my face, I just washed it with a ponds cloth. I packed all these burp cloths, onesies, recieving blankets, his brush, clippers, pacifiers....used NONE. I can at least say I didn't forget anything. I think a good tip might be to pack your own snacks in case you don't like what they have on the menu.

Yeah I wasnt planning on packing a ton of stuff cause they throw you out so fast lol But snacks is something I wouldnt have thought of ..so I need to get on that lol I also wanna remember my hair brush I could see me forgetting that lol ... did you pack your toothbrush or do they give you like a throw away one?

I packed my toothbrush, I bought a travel thing that had a mini toothpaste and two little toothbrushes. When I got admitted that one time for 2 days they gave me a little care kit type thing that had a toothbrush, toothpaste, deoderant, and shampoo. I knew I was gonna be there for 3 days....they would have let me leave Thursday morning if I had wanted to or even let me stay till Friday. My dr. said they weren't really doing much for me there since I wasn't even really taking any pain meds but he understood me wanting to stay since my son was there. I kinda opted to go inbetween.

I wonder if I will be able to drive myself to the hospital while in labor .. lol I guess that is left to be seen haha

I drove myself to the hospital plenty of times when my contractions were 3 minutes apart so I guess it was like driving while in labor. I also drive myself to the hospital twice a day even though I'm not supposed to drive for 2 weeks.....haha....yeah right!

Happy Mothers Day!!!! Hi everyone.... sorry it took so long for me to post today but twice today i went to post and the darn thing had erased everything i had written so i got discouraged and put down the laptop. So i hope that today was a nice day for everyone. and Kay i took a look at the photobucket pictures and he looks so precious.... i so want to smell him.... don't babies just smell so good? and it sounds like you had a super nice Mothers Day with Kalysa being able to meet her brother for the first time! That is so adorable.... and aren't kids just the funniest... they say the most funny things ever! So my day was pretty nice. The kids all got me two new maternity outfits which i so needed and appreciated. Yay! Shorts... the weather here has been so incredibly warm that my pants just weren't cutting it anymore! and my mil got me three sets of p.j.s, a short sleeved robe, lots of colorful socks that are color coordinated with the p.j.s, and new undies. so that was pretty nice of her. Freddie sent me flowers that were gorgeous. and he got me my fave breakfast from ihop this morning... chicken fried steak with gravy, scrambled eggs and hashbrowns and he just made me my fave dinner.... spaghetti with hot sausage. yum. so yeah today has been a pretty good day.
