Yeah I definitely agree on the feeling frumpy thing. I just went out and bought some slip on sneakers because it was getting way too challenging to bend over and tie my sneakers. Even if I just left them tied it was still hard. I can't wait until the weather warms up and I can wear short sleeves and dresses. I just bought a little sundress type thing today. I'll probably wear it with black leggings underneath. I have had a hard time sitting with my legs completely together, haha I'm a little hussie, no but seriously I can not cross them anymore so I'm afraid if I just wear a dress my poonani will be peeking through. And I don't think anyone wants that right now. And ma teh reason why they want met o stay with their dog is because she was in the kennel all weekend when they were away, so they don't want her to be in her crate for a few hours until they get home. They have lots of money so it's not a big deal for them to pay me for an extra few hours to sit with the dog. I wish I had it like that. Yeah I ended up going with teh Fisher Price Rainforest bedding set and it's super cute. Kinda for a boy or a girl too, and not too expensive. I think I paid 80 for it at Walmart. We love animals so it's good for us, it's got little monkeys and tigers and elephants and stuff.

You know what though about flip flops, I wore mine the other day even though it was cold, and by the end of the day it felt like I had huge spikes sticking up through my heels. It was so painful for my back too. They just don't have enough support.

lol. what a retard, thats the one i meant. lol. well Gabby in that case i too would sit around with the dog. This baby girl really likes to ball up on my left side right under my ribs and its so uncomfortable, i keep trying to get her to move over. i think i've had a few contractions today, it feel a little different than when she b___s up. well im gonna share something with you guys and i apologize if its tmi, i can not see down there, so getting the bikini area is impossible, but i still tried and of course could't do it so DH did it for me, it was pretty funny, although i refrained from laughing cause i didn't want to get a cut.

kay101 - March 25

OMG lmao ma I had wanted to share that one day too! I asked my hubby to shave my legs for me and he just laughed at me so last time I shaved down there I was like babyyyyy come here!!!!!! He came in the bathroom and I opened my legs and asked him if I had missed any spots ahahaha! I can't see down there at ALL. I remember right before I went on bedrest I got off work and sat down on the bed.......he untied my shoes and started rubbing my feet and it was sweet but all I could think about was why the hell did he have to untie my shoes?! Now I can't just slip them on and I'm gonna have to bend over in the morning to tie them! I don't ever do flip flops.....I'm not fond enough of my feet.

i just started laughing playing it back in my head. lol. he preped a bath for me last night with candles, but the water was sooo hot, i told him and he was like its so you can relax. i was like o.k. but its not a good thing for the belly. i did however make it a little less hot but still hotter than it should of been. and i have to say i finally had some action going on after two weeks. lol.

Mine does the same thing when he runs me a bath I'm not a lobster! Stop trying to cook me!

I'm back!!! Dh and I had a little get-away over the easter weekend (so much fun!), and then he decided to cook a huge turkey dinner for us once we got back -so I've been eating leftovers for a few days. I had a dr's appt today, and of course, I'm still put off work:( I'm starting to get really frustrated (and mildly depressed?) with not working. Everyone tells me not to complain, but I'm still not used to not going to work (yes, even after 7 weeks of being off) -it sucks. But, the baby's doing great and I'm measuring at 30 weeks (right where things should be!) Thankfully, my dr gave me a prescription for some heartburn meds since tums are useless for me at this point. Hopefully the prescription will work. I can't remember all of the posts (you're a chatty bunch) but someone was asking about baby showers awhile back....I had one a couple of weeks ago (my sister-in-law had that one) and I'm having another one this weekend (one of my friends is having it). We had some good games at the last one -one game that everyone enjoyed was a twist on the traditional taste-test and guess the baby food -what my sil did was melt a few different kinds of chocolate bars, then pour melted chocolate into different diapers and by the look and smell of it, we had to guess what kind of 'mess' was in each diaper (i.e. what kind of chocolate bar) -I know it sounds gross, but it was lots of fun and had everyone laughing. Oh, and Gabby, I failed the first gest diabetes test too, but (thankfully) pa__sed the 3 hour test. Apparently the false positive rate for the first test is really high (my dr told me), so don't give up hope yet!!! I hadn't thought to fast before the first test (sometimes I'm a moron), so I did it right after I had a huge breakfast of oatmeal, an egg, an apple, some tea and a big gla__s of milk (yeah, not bright, I know!) Like someone already said, make sure you take something with you to eat afterwards....the last thing you want is low blood sugar. Once I found out that I had failed the first test, I started researching gest diabetes, and for the few days in between the 2 tests, I adjusted my diet (ate a lot more protein since I really don't like it and a few less carbs since I tend to eat more carbs (whole wheat and multigrain) to try and compensate for the lack of animal protein) and I tried to do some exercise. Good luck and let us know how it goes!

Hmm so are you suppose too have games at a shower? I wonder if my mom knows that lol I cant shave either ...well I do but who knows what it looks like hahahaha and sadly I had to ask my daughter if i missed any spots LMAO now THAT is humiliating but of course I didnt spread them and ask that I just asked like from the front or top like right under my belly haha she just looked at me and was like umm then she pointed out a spot I missed haha I know i could get someone to shave it for me but I have been abstinent since I got pregnant so if i ask someone to shave it he will NOT be like 'ok done' and leave haha so I just manage on my own! Eastcoast this is the first time I have not worked in FOREVER so I dont know what to do with myself .. I manage to keep myself pretty busy but I can see how it gets tired. I am going shopping tomorrow for pregnant lady stockings lol I need them for a wedding I am going too in a couple weeks

ma1008 - March 25

welcome back eastcoast, we missed you. i at times would like to be on bedrest but only so i could stay home, but then that would mean i can't do a lot of stuff while being at home so i take it back. well i need some suggestions for a middle name, im pretty stuck on chelsea right now, unless i find something i like better.

fefer1 - March 25

hey everyone - don't forget about me! I haven't gone anywhere! :) I have a toddler so some days it's just too hard to get on here and post. She won't let me type without reaching over and banging on the laptop. Now I'm just too tired- I take naps when she does. :) Also - trying to keep up with Kay and Sprinkles takes a lot of time! You guys need your own post! haha...or get on instant messenger or something. Oh to have the free time you guys have!! :) I'm not feeling super attractive myself - I'm starting to get all puffy and swollen, which I hate!! I can't stand to look at pictures or in the mirror. 10 more weeks!!!!!! I also had some issues with the not being able to see my legs to shave...so being stupid, I decided I was going to try to wax my own legs/bikini area. :) Every time I would lean forward to rub the wax on or rip it off the gooey stuff would stick to my belly. It was difficult but I was really determined - I hate trying to shave because it hurts my pelvic area to take any weigh off one foot - and it's so hard to do on a regular basis - and I'm sick of fuzzy legs cuz I'm too lazy to deal with it. I'm also in major nesting mode - put jr's crib together, rearranged my daughters room, kitchen, spare bedroom, my bedroom - all to make room for the new guy. I'm not done either - everything is pulled out and laying all over the place. I got too tired to finish. :)

kay101 - March 25

There you are!! We've missed you! Refresh my memory why you're off work? I've been on bedrest for a week and a half and we'll see Friday if I have to stay that way. That sounds like a hilarious baby shower game. At my last one we did this thing where you got a certain number of paper clips and if you said the word 'baby' whoever called you out on it got all of yours and the person with the most at the end won. Then we had rolls of toilet paper and you had to guess how many squares it would take to wrap around my belly lol My sister is having one for me on the 13th but I'm not expecting many people to be there. haha dawn you should go tell that father of 4 yeah well I've been without it for 7 months!! beat that!!

kay101 - March 25

haha fefer I laughed when you said you kept getting the wax on your belly! I think the best thing to get is 'modified bedrest' you get out of work and although you still lay around most of the time you can do little chores/little outings. My contractions are being a pain in the b___t today!! They aren't make me go to the hospital bad, just having more inbetween my pill than I usually do. Ok since you all are into nesting right now......who wants to come clean my house for me?? Oh that reminds me that I forgot to answer earlier, I'm in Michigan.

ma1008 - March 25

hey fefer, were all finally coming back together. im sure that sounded lame. lol. WAX.... ouch, i thing i would rather leave the fuzziness. hehehe. are you guys planning on being shaved when you go to the hospital? 8 more weeks for me. my c-section will get scheduled 2 weeks before my due date. so i will know when to shave or i should say when to get DH to shave for me.

kay101 - March 25

I'm gonna shave before I go (considering I KNOW beforehand) just because I know if I don't, they will do it for me when I get there because of the c-section. Oh and fefer, it sounds like you're trying to shave in the shower. I take baths and put one leg up on the edge of the tub at a time.

ma1008 - March 25

I hadn't though about it while in the bath, hmmm. i would just try in the shower. well im heading out. i'll talk to ya'll tomorrow. take it easy.

Sprinkles - March 25

LOL its true!!! Kay and I should chat on IM during the day lol but then you guys would miss us!! and I dont wanna leave you out! I still shave standing up in the shower I just hope that I dont cut off something important like half a lip or something lol ... lol kay I would not even speak to that jerk lol but I do have him beat hahaha and it doesnt even phase me which is the awesome part of being me .. I can turn it on and off just like that I am going for a pedi soon - so my feet look nice I rather shave my box then attempt to cut my toe nails and paint them! I will just shave every week and that is what they will get if they see it with some stubble too bad for them lol Yum the ziti was sooo good and I made garlic breadsticks with mozz inside of it !
