dawn - I can't believe your almost 38 weeks and they didn't check you, especially since you had chas early. I'd be asking them to give me the finger LMAO I feel so bad for you all. I'm leaving for my appointment to have my incision checked in an hour. It should be fast once I get back there so I hope I don't have to wait long. fefer - you are SO close! I couldn't even look at his circ_mcision the first day. They said to put neosporin on a gauze pad so it wouldn't stick to his diaper for a day then just put vaseline on it. I put the gause on for 2 days just because it looked so sore I didn't want to actually rub anything on it, then it was fine. gabby - yay! Work is almost done! Ugh, I'm only getting half a paycheck because I didn't call and tell them to supplement my vacation. I got 6 weeks of full pay and now I have 8 weeks of half. My little guys appointment went well. They said at 2 weeks they want them to be back up to their birthweight and he was 7 pounds 5 ounces.

They ask me if i had any contractions i tell her and still nothing - yesterday i had them 3-5 mins apart for a hour and she goes ' Oh ok' lol .. idiots ... seriously I go there for nothing. I could have a denist tell me more at this point - I am NOT going there again until I go into labor .. and then it wouldnt be there anyway. I am just going to the perinatal appointments from here out - i cant handle that place .. i felt like bashing their faces in. If in the mean time i feel the need to get checked I am going to wait til its after hours and call with some story and then they will tell me to go in and whenever you do it that way they always check you out thoroughly. I am glad I am having a girl lol i would feel so sad about the circ_mcision thing

Hi girls. I'm back from my errands, I stopped at the produce store and got a watermelon and 2 cantaloupes. I am loving fruit right now. Oh and my stupid headache is back so I stopped and got a coffee, well half decaf half regular. But it is soooo good. Dawn, I'm sorry that your place sucks so bad. If I would have stayed in the city and went to a dr around here I'd probably be having teh same experience, a bunch of morons trying to act like they know what they're doing. My docotrs office is a clinic type deal, but it's in Jersey, and a really nice part of Jersey so it's pretty decent. The only downside is that it's a little far, but hey I'll deal with it to have decent doctors. Kay, I'm going to be having King circ_msized and I'm kind of dreading the first few days too. I remember how raw my nephews little winkie was and my sister just sat there crying because she felt so bad for him. Fefer, I'm glad you didn't pop at your shower. I remember when I was getting ready for mine, I was sweating just like that. I walked into the shower with pit stains, so embara__sing. DDT, I find myself walking around the house holding the bottom of my belly, it's crazy looking, but it's the only thing that makes it feel supported. So what kind of outfit should I take with me to the hospital to go home in? My mom said def. take a maternity outfit because I'll still have a belly. I'm thinking of getting one of those terry cloth dresses, like the ones that are tight on the b___bs and then not tight around the belly. It will most likely be hot then, and also if I get a c section (which I so don't want) then I won't have to worry about anything being tight around the incision.

The dress is like scruchy at the top? that is what I packed gabby - mine is cotton though and it has spagetti straps ..then i brought a pair of black maternity stretchy bell bottom pants too in case its a cool day like today is - I also am bringing a sweater for the baby cause the weather lately is cold one day hot the next and so i dont wanna be caught with only something sleeveless for her.

Speaking of sweat - (and this is gross so you are warned) I rarely wear panties anymore well.. i WAS rarely wearing panties - then i was shaving the other day and notice that i guess from sweating in the crotch area like right at the sides where your pelvic bone meets your thighs my skin is lighter... i was like wtf ?! Im pretty d__n pale to begin with so it looks like i am faded or something .. I thought maybe the sweat did that i never seen that before ... I look...waterlogged! I am so traumatized ! when i am spread eagle giving birth they are gonna be like WTF IS THAT hahaha so now i wear panties even though they slide off my belly at least they wont allow me to sweat in my crevices!

hey DDT - you know what I mean then about not being prepared for this kind of weather! :) I love Vancouver - my brother and sis-in-law live up there. I totally walk around holding my belly up now too. Every time I get up from sitting or out of bed I have to to that to keep everything from cramping up.Man we are close!! Who's it gonna be???? :) Speaking of little boys - my friends baby just turned 9 weeks and she was changing his diaper and .... he was all hard. She totally freaked out. :) The things you learn!!! Having a boy sure is going to be different! :) As for a hospital outfit, I just grabbed a pair of comfortable maternity clothes, something to hide the big fat pad I'd be wearing. I packed a pair of my sweats that I LOVE to wear now...and a tshirt. I remember being really hot after my dd was born. I wanted something loose and cool. It's hard to predict our weather around here so it's hard to know what to pack. Unless you are totally lucky, You won't be a lot smaller when you leave the hospital. I think I weighed MORE from all the fluids they gave me. :) ok, now I'm off to take a nap. I can't keep my eyes open anymore!

oh my gosh guys... I need to stop buying stuff LOL.. I keep thinking of things I "need" for the baby or her room then I get home and Im trying to find a place or use for whatever I bought hehe. oh my gosh guys I totally hold my belly when I walk too.. its so funny, my mom and sister are always laughing at me. Kay, Im glad your little man is all healed up.. Im so glad Im having a girl lol.

HeatherIsHopeful - May 19

LOL I just read my post and I said "oh my gosh guys" twice... Im so lame. meh, oh well. lol

Yeah Dawn that sounds like the dress I'm talking about. I thought it would be good. Oh and about the sweating thing, Fred has that under his arms. Like the skin under there is discolored. He thought it was from his deodorant but I told him it was because of the sweat. It's because the pH of sweat is different than the normal pH of your skin. Oh and don't feel bad, one night I got out of the shower and was wearing a little nightgown thing with no panties and I was standing there talking to fred's dad and I starting having little drips down my leg. I kinda freaked out thinking it was amniotic fluid, but it was sweat. It was so gross. I ran upstairs and was like wiping and wiping and nothing. So another gross thing, my friggin dogs are shedding so much that I have to sweep my d__n hardwood floors every single day. When I just swept it looked like there was a small animal on the floor. Ahhhh I hate hair!!!!

HeatherIsHopeful - May 19

gabby... my mom has two cats and to dogs.. there is hair and grossness everywhere. they aren't allowed i my room... that is my 'sanctuary'. I love them but man they are icky lol.

gabby509 - May 19

Yeah we have 3 big dogs and 1 long haired cat, so the hair is just totally everywhere and disgusting. I mostly blame it on the cat because I don't like cats and Fred begged me to let him get her, but I don't like her, she's a b___h. I just go crazy because the hair will like bunch up in the corners, after only 1 day. So have been sweeping sometimes twice a day. Oh and everyone I think I may have convinced Fred to let me name King, Kingston, as a first name. I like that so much better than Frederick King. But I won't get my hopes up.

HeatherIsHopeful - May 19

I love the name kingston... I dated a guy in high school whos last name was kingston, I told him I was gonna marry him just for his name LOL. that obviously didnt happen but I still love that name, I like it as a first name too! Im rooting for you gabby.

Sprinkles - May 19

gabby i like the name kingston myself ..better then king even - and you can call him king for short obviously which is like a win win lol .. I remember a while ago on here some woman was looking for middle name suggestions and i suggested that one.. I think its a cool name and its different. Will my crotch stay that color?! you dont know how much that bothers me I was airing it out last night and this morning lol chas walks into my room and was like ILL COVER UP hahhahahahahahaha i sweat alot from my pits but i dont get discolored there but I think thats cause my pits are as white as they can get now anyway ... after i posted that about the crotch thing i read it and thought wow these girls are gonna think I am nuts for saying that LOL so anyway I sold my boxspring i had listed on craigslist today - it was like new that thing so i could not see myself tossing it. so they say caffiene causes early labor right? or premature birth - what if you drink it when your due .. then it cant hurt right? Im drinking a pretty big coolatta so i am trying to convince myself Im not being a bad person lol

fefer1 - May 19

dawn, I don't think coffee does anything for labor but It CAN cause miscarriages early on, but a very very small percentage. I drank coffee early on when it didn't make me ill - and drink it now - and obviously haven't gone into labor. :) I also like Kingston Gabby but you go with what YOU like. I had an awesome nap - woke up and it was too warm though and my dd was still asleep. woohoo!! A few minutes to myself. Hey, Chef Ramsay is on Rachael Ray today - I guess he's opening a new restaurant in LA.

Sprinkles - May 19

fefer I seen that while i was in that waiting room for 2+ hours lol I love him I find him so amusing!

kay101 - May 19

My appointment was so incredibly dull. The nurse was surprised they made me come in since they took the staples out before I left the hospital so she literally poked at it for ten seconds and sent me on my way. What a waste of gas LMAO I'm so tired though, I only got a few hours of sleep last night. dawn - caffine can irritate contractions, it was on my no no list for preterm labor. I don't know why, but I think it might have something to do with caffine dehydrating you. I've read it can cause slightly low birth weight but I dunno, both my kids were pretty d__n big. My son was bigger than some of my friend's 4O week babies. heather - I bought way too much junk myself then people bought me even more. I'm half tempted to go to walmart and just say they bought it there and get diapers instead. fefer - stop making me jealous of your naps! I tried taking one with my hubby today. I got some great cuddle time but little man woke up before I fell asleep. gabby - good luck winning him over. Mine went back and forth a couple times about whether or not to name him curtis because his dad goes by curtis, he goes by cj so that doesnt leave much room to call him anything so he got named curtis and now gets called ace.....why....I dont know lol.
