well, last I heard they were saying it could just be her plug and some KY left over from when they checked her earlier today. =/ I told her to keep me posted... everyone cross yur fingers for her!!!

Damn that KY! Go fefer go! Go fefer go! How much did Kaelyn weigh? Is she pretty much sleeping all day and just waking up to eat?

she weighed 7lbs 5ozs and 20 and a half inches long. she pretty much sleeps all the time and eats then sleeps...sometimes she'll wake up and look around for awhile but mostly its sleep :)

That's the best part while they're all sleepy and cuddly! Make sure to take advantage of it while it lasts and get some rest! It's gonna go by really fast and ray will be home before you know it. I can't believe my little dude is about to be 6 weeks old. Ugh 2 more weeks till I go back to work.

Ohhhh I'm having some brown discharge.....I think my period is starting! LMAO the only time I'll ever be excited this happens because it means I get to get on my birth control and no more worrying :D

Im glad I dont have to go back to work yet... I just cant imagine not being home with her. Im totally taking advantage of her sleeping a lot and having my mom and sister here to watch her sometimes too. I cant believe your little guy is 6 weeks old! thats crazy.

Hey you guys!!! SOrry I've been MIA! I stepped out to run errands this morning even though I'm supposed to be on strict bedrest to bring my bp down. :-S hee hee... I HAD to get things done tho---my parents will be here next Friday and I stilll need to set up the guest bathroom. I didn't even get to fin anything for that today though. Hahahah... I went and got the car completely cleaned and detailed...I'm not very satisfied bc they only stem cleaned the seats, and I thought theyd shampoo it...I have some stains I wanted out..oh well, at least its all clean now. I'll put the car seat in tonight. I got some baby gowns, more receiving blankets, some burp coths, little mittens to protect him from scratching himself, a baby towel, and a blanket, since he didnt have one yet. Also, I got Dantes coming home outfit/hospital picture outfit. I splurged on Dh and got him new Kenneth Cole cologne and an outfit from Express for Fathers Day....and a little blue teddy bear for him to give Dante when he is born. Lol. I was at Target trying to get some nursing bras and pads and i ran into my nurse/midwife who saw me for my high bp the first time. I hope she didn't know I was supposed to be on bedrest! Lol- I felt like I got caught by my mom doing something bad, but she was really nice and cordial anyway. I'll see her Monday. So now I'm at home, resting--and waiting for DH...we're supposed to go to a KC soccer game tonight....dunno if we're going to make it tho. Heather- I loved your birth story. Kaelynn was a good size! Kay is right, she DOES look like you. ;-) Are you getting the sore b___bies yet like all the other mommies? Lol---Kay, lets hope thats your period starting and not something else!!!! LOL!!!! j/k! I really hope fefer goes today!!! I blame it all on her uterus/cervix and it being uncooperative. At least shes halfway though labor though! It should be short whenever it all does commence,right? But it depends on what your idea of "short" is, considering shes overdue and has been having horrible pains for what seems like forever. Lol....I'm STARVING...what to eat, what to eat?

Oh God christie you are so mean to me! LOL I can't help but admit thinking the same thing like oh lord what if it's implantation.....or it could be ovulation because you can spot during that too. I'm just waiting for it to turn red and get cramps haha. I think somebody will be dissapointed he doesn't get to play with his new lingere haha so much for fun on father's day! Funny he's even more excited about me getting back on depo than I am. Ooooo you got busted at Target! Whenever I would go to my appointments I'd always go to starbucks or to get fast food since I was in the car anyway and was always afraid somebody would see me on their break at work. I was really paranoid the week I was taken off my meds and was running all around LOL I've got some pizza and breadsticks I'll share with you :D

Hey, thanks for letting me know. I am living vicariously through her right now. I am miserable and not due for another 5.5 weeks! I can't wait to hear that she had the baby.

Helllo girls! Just thought I would check in to see if there was any news with fefer .. but maybe no news is good news - maybe she is pushing as I type this! hee hee Ok well i dont know what to do with myself ... I sit around the house alll day when the baby sleeps I feel bad putting the dog to sleep so i sit here and watch tv all day .. ahh well .. when I am at my moms i will do stuff I guess lol. Ok well Im off to wander around the house - talk to you girls later

Aw dawn you sound about as bored as I do. I don't know what to do with myself when nobody is on here and there's nothing on tv....which is most of the time LOL I suppose I could clean some more but what fun is that?

i havent heard anything from fefer.. I was thinking about texting her but I dont wanna bother her lol. Christie, my b___bs are getting sore but its okay.. I'll live lol.

hey everyone - sorry I didn't text back, it's been a chaotic day and I was so worn out I didn't call anyone but the family. The finally let me out of the hospital after lots of monitoring and walking around with a diaper on. :) they don't think I'm leaking - but that I really am close and could go anytime. I am free to wait it out - even though it's frustrating. The nurses were for the most part really nice and encouraged me to do what makes me happiest. I was tempted to give in and get induced when I went in but the first nurse I worked with was awesome and encouraged me to do what I wanted to do and gave me all sorts of tips. :) She said baby is probably sunnyside up right now which is giving me all the back pain and told me to do all these different exercises to get him turned. She was awesome! When I came back she wanted to work with us again but this other nurse had no patients so she got me - and she wasn't half as cool. Ugh..so I have been on a major emotional roller coaster today HOPING this was it - I really thought it was. I have never had so much stuff gush out of me in my life! It was so nasty! We went to lunch after the first hospital trip and before we left I went pee and lots of stuff was coming out. Then as soon as we walked out the door I felt a ma__sive gush of stuff that soaked my underwear and made my pants wet. It was so gross! But I guess it wasn't my water. :( There is some sort of good news to it all - They have two dates for me - june 2 AND june 10. Guess there are some issues with the ultrasounds. They gave me june 10 based on one ultrasound but June 2 based on my second ultrasound and - when I actually conceived. I guess the doctor left June 10th as THE date without me knowing it. Sooo ... the good news is that baby is healthy and...possibly not as overdue as we thought. Bad news is - they COULD make me wait longer. At the end of the day - I'm still overdue. :) Blah!!! And my doc isn't around to check with on all of it. I have another NST on Monday if he doesn't come by then but I feel so close right now that I don't know if I can wait. I'm gonna go now I think and get some rest and hang out with Rachel and my mom and try not to think about it all. ugh..

oh fefer.. Im glad you did what you wanted and didnt just give in, I know I would have. Im sorry things didnt happen the way you wanted them to though. *hugs* soon hon.. it'll happen soon. he cant stay in there forever!

hey guys - well about an hour ago, right as I was finishing dinner I started getting contractions! I am going to start timing them now - they last about 45 seconds. Not sure how far apart yet, been trying to get my daughter to bed!!! I'll keep you posted but this feels real to me! I can hardly stand or sit when I get one. :)

Hey ladies, Heather just called me and they are in the car on their way to Overlake right now! She is a bit nervous and the contractions are bringing back memories and freaking her out alittle. When she spoke to the on-call OB she told her not to wait anymore because she is so dilated, and that she (the OB) only made it to the hospital with 12 minutes to spare with her last child. Heather sounded excited and scared at the same time when I spoke to her. I am sure once things really get going, she will go fast. I told her to call me in the night if she wanted to share the news. I'll post for you all if she can't text. Otherwise, I will call the hospital and see how she is doing late tomorrow morning after she has had some rest.
