Hey ladies, Heather just called me and they are in the car on their way to Overlake right now! She is a bit nervous and the contractions are bringing back memories and freaking her out alittle. When she spoke to the on-call OB she told her not to wait anymore because she is so dilated, and that she (the OB) only made it to the hospital with 12 minutes to spare with her last child. Heather sounded excited and scared at the same time when I spoke to her. I am sure once things really get going, she will go fast. I told her to call me in the night if she wanted to share the news. I'll post for you all if she can't text. Otherwise, I will call the hospital and see how she is doing late tomorrow morning after she has had some rest.

we ended up staying at home- no soccer game. Oh well. Kay- I know I'm so mean to you. Lol, sorry, I can't help it. ;-) (evil snicker) I'm sure you'll get a visit from Aunt Flo soon so things can get put in control. Gabby- so sorry to hear about your Mastistis! OUCH! Is it getting any better? Fefer, this pre-labor as been such a roller coaster ride for you and your family! How absolutely exhausting!!! Hopefully those contractions you're having now keep coming and get stronger. How far away from the hospital are you? Oh Kay- I've been getting Starbucks one or twice a week the last two weeks or so... ( guilty) , but its just these mint mocha chip fraps, and theres not a whole lot of caffeine in them...more like sugar. ANywho, I had this kid ask me once the other week . " Are you sure you want caffeinated? We have de-caf,, you kinow." I was like " heck yeah I want caffeinated! " Lol... nice that he was concerned I guess. :-) Oh hey, Deb had her baby yesterday! 7 lbs and something ounces, but they're both already home and doing great!

thanks for the update!!! Looks like Fefer is going to get a Fathers Day baby after all! Aw! Yay! I can't wait to see this feisty fella of hers--hes been quite the handful with this whole pregnancy! Well, I'm going to bed...I'm sure everyone is feeding their babies and getting shut eye while they can before the next feeding! Pretty soon we might all just be on here at odd hours of the morning chatting. Lol--thatd be funny.

hey mommies! Oh yay! Go Fefer! Looks like tonight is the big night! You go mommasita! What a nice fathers day present for your dh. Okay so here's the scoop on what's been going on with us... On Thursday we went to the doctors for tripp's first appt and she said he looked a little jaundiced but he had gained 4 ounces since his birth so that was good but we had to go to the lab to get his billirubin checked. So we took him on friday morning for the billirubin and the doctor called me yesterday afternoon and said that she needed to see him immediately so we headed over to the doctors office and she tells us that his billirubin level was 17.8 which is pretty high so both Tripp and I got admitted to the hospital so he could get phototherapy. He hated it at first and he just cried and cried and so did I... I was such a mess :-( he looked so pitiful in that phototherapy unit especially with those goggles on! So I got to stay in the room with him in the pediatrics unit of the hospital so I could b___stfeed him and change his diapers. I could only take him out of the unit once every three hours to feed and change him. But once he calmed down he slept like a champ in there cuz it was so warm and toasty! I actually did get a little bit of much needed sleep last night. So this morning they checked his billirubin levels and they had brought it down to 12.2 so the doctor said that is good and we could go home this afternoon. He is pink now... Not yellow! So that is good. Argh. I'm tired tonight though. Hey I dont know if anyone knows if this is ok but.... Where I had my tubal they glued the incision (it is right under my belly b___ton) well part of it has come unglued and there was like some old blood that has dried around it but there is nothing oozing or even red or sore or swollen around it but like I said one part has come unglued.... Is it okay? I put some new skin on that part but still wonder if it is something I should have looked at by my doctor. Hmmm... Any suggestions? I'm always like second guessing myself and always tempted to not go to the doctor if at all possible but maybe I should... ugh! Help mommas! Its kinda freaking me out kinda. Wow Christie! You were busy today and you are supposed to be on bedrest! Bad girl! You better take it easy tomorrow! LOL. KAY!!! I miss you momma! Dawnie - how's violet doing? Ok with the b___b? LOL. I miss you too! But freddie finally fixed my Internet so I will be able to get on more frequently now. Yay! I hate using my phone all the time! Time to feed Tripp! Talk to you soon.

Hey mama I would get some steristrips for it. My incision wasn't closed all the way with Kalysa after they took the staples out and I used those and covered it with a gauze pad. As long as it's not bleeding a lot, oozing pus, smells, or is getting really red around it you should be good. You might wanna call the nurse and ask how to care for it but that's what I had to do. Ace had to be treated for jaundice too. Did he have the little cloth visor goggles with the billiblanket? I had the hardest time waking him up to eat because he was sleepy from the jaundice and warm from the light. Glad you both are home!

sorry for not being on for long. my baby is such a handful but i love it. well she had like a little discharge but it wasnt a lot of blood. just a tad bit. as the days gone by, there is no blood! =D so happy. i looked up online bout it and they said its normal but make sure its not continuing for long. it only last at least 2-3 days i think? i named her jahzlyn she weigh 7 pounds 3.3 oz. 20 inches long.

hey momma! Ok yeah that is what I thought I should do. Can you get the steri-strips at the store? Yeah its not doing anything nasty so I think it should be ok but I will keep an eye on it for sure. Oh yeah and yeah they put those cloth goggles on him and put him in the photoherapy unit with one of those blankets too. Sheesh tell me about it... It was hella hard to keep him awake enough to feed him. I just left the goggles on him whenever i did take him out so as not to freak him out with the no seeing thing more than I needed to. I knew you would understand... How long did he have to be in there? Did he have to go back and get more of the therapy done? Isn't it so weird to see his poop change from yellow to green to almost black? LOL

Hello! Well I went to sleep disko lol at 9 or rather I should say I went to bed..didnt sleep til 1 but violet then let me sleep til 5 before waking me up again - which was nice - the only thing I notice with her is alot of times she wont go to sleep without me breasfeeding ..like say I b___stfeed her then change her she wont go to sleep unless I put a b___b in her mouth again lol ahh well ... wow SO I hope fefer had her baby anyone hear anything?

Fefer had her baby!!!! Levi christopher was born june 15th at 3:51am he was 9lbs 11ozs! Yay fefer :)

Hey, thanks. I spoke to her on the phone about an hour ago. I can't believe he was that big! She says she is going home tomorrow, I hope Rachel isn't too jealous.

hey girls! I'm a mommy again at last!!!! :) Tim is sleeping, baby is in my arms sleeping - my a__s hurts like hell and I got only 45 minutes of sleep last night. But, I'm doing pretty good. washed my face, brushed my teeth and put on some makeup. I'll get my shower later when my b___t feels better. :) So as you all know, Levi was born at 3:51 am. He's perfectly healthy and perfectly BIG. We will be here till tomorrow morning for sure. I'm gonna try to post his story but I'm so tired I might not get to it till later. Just wanted to let you know we're doing great!!!

Amanda.. that picture I posted was taken the day I went home lol so I made myself look decent. you should see my pictures on my myspace lol... not as impressive. however what I think is impressive is I can b___ton my jeans again!!! finally!! Im so happy :)

Hey you guys! Happy Fathers Day to all the Fathers of the June mommies! I admit, I am so jealous of you all because now you ALL have your babies in your arms, and mine is still in my belly. Lol...stretching it out and making stretch marks around my belly b___ton. Kay---- what? No period? Yeah, that discharge sounds confusing. It almost sounds like...well, I won't say, :-) BUT it could just be old blood from the baby...right? Hm...just pay attention to your body over the next few days...I bet its still trying to get itself regulated and normal after the pregnancy and birth, etc. Its probably really common. Fefer- CONGRATS on FINALLY welcoming Levi to the world. I havent made it to his story on the forum yet, bit I will. I had more of a hectic day today than I would have liked, gals. I felt like c___p ALL day...fromt eh time I woke up...and even as I type. I've had lower back pain across my entire lower back...like behing my pelvic bones...and my legs hurt. I figured since i felt it this morning it was probably form the running around I did yesterday that I wasn't supposed to do. Well, I heard that contractions often feel like back paina t first, and you should time how often you feel the pain...but its been pretty consistent throughout the day with some intevals, but nothing I timed. I was helping DH a__semble our dining table for dinner with the FIL, SIL, and BIL tonight and I was in some strange pain. I dunno how to describe it really...but it was pelvic, rectal...and backaches. Earlier I had some shooting rectal pains, but they went away, and they came back while I was helping wiht the table. I think I've had about 10 of them today. Now after all has been said and done and everyones gone home, I still have the backache and some brief rectal pressure. Not too long ago too I had some really weird tinging sensations in my fingers that radiated to the tips. I've been saying today that he'll be here next weekend when my parents arrive. Do you think some of these are prelabor signs? I have no clue, and since I'm not in intense pain I don't think I'll call the doc because I have an appt at 9 am tomorrow and they can see me then and tell me whats going on..... anywho, Im going ot check out a cpl sites about prelabor and then hit the sack. Watch, I'm probably jsut imagining my symptoms or something because I'm anxious since I'm the last one to go now. Lol...I'll probably be overdue. :-P!!!! Hmmm.... thought you were supposed to be on bedrest little missy. bad girl. Thanks Kay... I'll look for the steri-strips tomorrow at walgreens since we have one of those right down the street. So, I have a question... do any of you b___stfeeding mommies ever supplement with formula? cuz today Tripp just wanted to nurse all day long and by tonight he was all fussy so I decided to nurse him again and thought that he maybe wasn't getting enough to fill his belly. So, I made him a bottle of formula (2 oz.) and he drank all of it and he crashed out. So I was thinking maybe I would just do that when he is fussy and the pacifier won't satisfy him. Maybe he was still hungry. I don't want to do it all the time but I think it is gonna save me tonight. What do you all do? I'm glad everyone had a super day. We had a bbq with dh's brother and his wife and their baby. The kids all played in the water today... it was like 100 degrees out here today. It was super fun but I'm pooped. Congratulations Heather on welcoming Levi to the world today! He was just holding out to be daddy's special Fathers day present. Aww... how cute is that! Sounds like you are doing really good. Sorry you had such a crummy feeling day. Disko - I started supplementing formula because I didn't feel I was making enough. I could get out usually only 2 ounces at a time and he would eat 4.....my fat boy LOL he just wants to eat and eat and eat I swear. Oh yeah, special shout out to dawn, happy father's day to you too! :P From one single mom to another!
