Yay Christie! I thought it was funny reading how emotional you were about labor then finding out it's going to be today.....must have been intuition! I know you'll do great. I did the same thing with curtis one night, almost cried because how much I love him was so overwhelming. You must be so excited and nervous! I can't believe it's only halfway through the month and our last mommy is going to have her baby! I propose a move to infant care after christie gets back :D Ace has had 2 appointments already, a two week one and a one month one. He's 6 weeks old today......wow! Disko - He was released when his level was 11.2 and he's fine. Never had any problems. I've been giving him Enfamil AR....it's for babies with reflux and it's thickened with rice starch. He was pretty much projectile spitting up after every feeding then getting bad hiccups after he'd burp every time and would driblle out more spit up. Poor guy but he's been doing better on it. My daughter had the same problem. dawn - my younger bil picked up the phone when curtis and I were dating and said "happy father's day!" and I was like what and he goes "You're a momma and a daddy!" LOL

Kay, I agree about moving over when after Christie has her baby.

I also agree about moving !!! I was sooo b___hy cause I just got out of the hospital they just finished telling me not to take her out for 2 weeks or 6 weeks per the 2nd nurse and then they make me an appointment for 9am at the doctors office where kids were sticking their face in her carseat thing - I was soooo not in the mood then the nurse walks in and is like Ok first of all this seatbealt could be tighter - 2nd when did you feed her last she may be hungry and she just went from there i was ready to rip her face off by the timei left .. lack of sleep ..just pushed this kid out and not in the mood for a public gathering or her abnoxious comments about my kid - they act like they gave me their kid and i should be so lucky ... ooo dont get me started i am still salty about that lady lol - i then had to bring her back monday just so they could weigh her again lol now i have a break tilthe one month appt and I hope to have a new doc for her by then. I have to say I been pumping and i love it lol although i feed her at the b___b when she needs to go to sleep of course but this is great i dont get all full of milk i feel empty afterwards and i can pump even if she is sleeping past the time my b___bs are ready and its faster and I know how much she ate rather then guess and she seems more satisfied cause when she gets it right from the b___b she stops and i think she is done then 5 mins later she is crying cause she wants more ... then she falls asleep too much too ...im glad i gave pumping another try

hey everyone - we're home and settled for the most part. Rachel was just a mess when we picked her up. I don't think she's been getting enough sleep, playing too hard and recovering from a cold. She was just horrible when we got home but we put her right to bed. Levi has been doing so great! He only cries when we change his diaper or fusses a bit when he needs to burp more. It's been so nice! Our hospital stay was awesome, the nurses were great, the dr was great - an overall great experience for us. My nip-nips are already killing me too! He went from hardly ever eating because he was so sleepy to wanting to eat lots!! I can't wait to her Christie's news! Just skimmed through here and saw she was going to be induced. Go christie!!! Levi's first doctor appointment is tomorrow morning - He has to be seen within 3 days of birth. I have a post-partum follow up myself on thursday. I'll catch up with everyone later, I'm falling asleep trying to type. My pain meds make me sleeeeepy!!! Plus, I only had about 5-6 hours of sleep in the last 48 hours.

Fefer sounds like it was all worth the wait ! At least your last experience was all positive! I cant wait to hear what happened with christie either! Has anyone heard from her? Who was her 'Buddy'? lol Did she have one?

Am I the only June left? 3 days overdue now and really jealous reading everyone's stories :) S_x is a joke right now, and my feet are so swollen walking is laughable as well. I've eaten 3 pineapples in the last week, and had my membranes swept twice. Is it because I want it to happen so bad? I am happy for the rest of you ladies though - your stories are invaluable and have really helped me get through this.

hey millissa we still have one other june mommy left too unless she was induced last night... (anyone heard from Christie?) sucks that you are over due, looks like all you can do is wait it out or induce huh? *hugs* sorry. you'll have your LO in your arms soon enough.

Hey millissa, this MIGHT be a coincidence but the night before I went into labor I had some spicy food for dinner ^_^ You can also try walking? Are you considering asking your doctor to be induced?

Kay... christie texted me awhile ago and said she was at 9cm and Dante should be out within the hour.. she has probably had him by now!!! yay! I haven't heard from her since but I told her to text me when she feels up to it.

So we gonna move over to infant forum when she gets back?!? yay! omg it is so hard to get on the forum lately with a toddler and a newborn. but amazingly they are both asleep right now. *knocks on wood* that it stays like that for at least a half an hour. lol so yeah i guess i'm not gonna supplement with formula again. i just gonna keep nursing him and hope that i produce enough milk i mean i should cuz that is why we were designed that way right? kay did you ever get an answer to your supplement question about that stuff you got from gnc? i'm curious and wanna try it too. oh geez... tripp just woke up! lol be back soon

You take between 6-12 pills a day so between 2-4 pills three times a day. I think it helped a little but it makes your pee and sweat smell like maple syrup and I couldn't take it. haha so much for your knock on wood!

Lol I posted over on that b___stfeeding forum too trying to figure out what to do with my supply because sometimes (like right now) I got to feed her and she is crying and wants to eat but I know I dont have much in there cause she just ate 2 hrs ago and now she is left crying .. I dont have anything else left - so do i leave her cry or give her something else - and how do i get more milk to come in - I drink alot but its ice tea ...ugh i dont know

hey everyone - still waiting on Christie!! I got her text earlier too - haven't heard back either. :) Yay!!!! Another baby!!! I barely missed having her too having her baby before me! Missmilissa - sorry you're overdue, trust me, I know the feeling!!! :) It will be here soon. The L& D nurses told me to make sure I relaxed and didn't work too hard to get him out - to not walk yourself to death and to instead try sitting on a birth ball, rotate your hips a lot, bend over the bed/couch/chair and kind of move your b___t around/do pelvic tilts. Gets baby in position and puts pressure on your cervix to dilate when he/she is down lower. Just some tips I was given! Anyways, I uploaded some pics to Facebook for those of you who have it. I have to run and play with my dd for a bit before dinner - I'll check back when she's in bed later. :)
