Kimberly don't be nervous - your cervix is favorable for induction so is mine I am 37 weeks and I am 2cm dilated and 50% effaced my induction date is the 25th of this month! I am so excited my parents are on their way out from Alabama now in case she decides to come on her own...LOL...Good luck!

I only lost my plug during active labour - moments later the midwife checked and I was 5cms dilated... so it seems it can happen quite late on.

interesting to hear how many lost it during active labor...I was the total opposite with my first...I started losing my plug 3 weeks before I gave birth...I had a smallish gooey bloody glob...in mid november...then on Thanksgiving morning I had the same thing but twice as much....my dd wasn't born until Dec 11th...so I think it just depends on the person...I am curious to see how it goes this time...

im sure you do but honestly having been through 3 labors i have never seen my mucus plug before! dont know how i can miss 3 shows but i did!
