hey, i'm 39 weeks now and i didn't start to get a real pregnant looking belly until like my 7th month, i just looked "thicker", aka fatter before then. now my belly's a good size, that's for sure, and complete strangers ask when i'm due.

HS, I am having the same issue, all of a sudden! My entire pregnancy, people have been surprised to hear how far along I am, saying I looked small. I hit 29 weeks and all of a sudden, I'm protruding straight outwards. Many people today, of all days, decided to mention this to me. One man at work said I looked like I was about at the finish line. My a__sistant said the same thing about an hour earlier, and my dad the same thing in the morning. It's so frustrtating, after 7 months of the opposite! I don't mind so much (well, that's a bit of lie) except that I can't for the life of me understand how I can grow any bigger, and yet people a__sure me that I will. I think the most frustrating part of pregnancy for me has been the lack of control. I always thought I'd be able to control how my body would look through diet and exercise, but not so. I gain weight when you'd expect me to lose it, and I seem to not gain at all in the months when I eat and don't exercise. I'm shocked by this sudden growth and wish I knew more about what is going on inside that caused it to shoot out all of a sudden!

I was doing a good job of not gaining too much weight, sticking to my "optimal weight gain for my height and weight" which was 25 lbs, I've gained 9 lbs in less then a month, if this continues I'll weigh 200 lbs by the time I give birth to a 50 lb monster!

Hi my sisters pregnant but i don't know how far along she is. How far into the pregnancy are you when the baby bump is noticable?

I am 7 1/2 months pregnant and everyone keeps saying how small I look. Well at the doc appointment yesterday my belly measured a week ahead! I am tall so the doc says the baby has more room to grow. Don't worry, I am sure you are fine!

I thought I was big @ 5 months. Well now I really look big @ 26 weeks...lol

Im only six weeks and my belly is getting way bigger. Its scary cos i didnt think at six weeks thered be much size in n e thing. I havent been eating tremendous amounts so its not fat.

Hi everyone, im a worrier too lol. Im 29 weeks & 2 days and im hardly showing , only a little. Everybody ask me wheres ur belly and too be honest i really get shame and my feelings get hurt cuz im already sad cuz im not showing that much yet. im showing but yet im not that big and im wondering wats taking so long. please help somebody.

Hi ladies, I am now 36wks... but from the beginning I started showing, not even 2 1/2 months and I had women asking me, and customers at my job asking me if I was expecting.... I was like"geeze, how can anyone tell??" I didnt even change out my pants until just about 26wks. BUT.... as time went on I didnt "grow" very fast, my tummy did stay small, and I had people just commenting on my weight. I even had one person come up to me at 6 1/2 months and ask "So... do you plan on having kids and a family some day?" , I was like "HELLO???" lol, I'm pregnant right now!!!! And some women I worked with thought I was pretty small for being so far along. BUT as it was mentioned... lol .... from about week 31 on I grew ... and I grew FAST. I now have a prominent PREGO belly. Even my b/f said I finally "look" pregnant...lol. And my belly is even showing out the bottom with my maternity shirts, ... they hang off it and you can see a little bit of my tummy!! SO ... I woul dsay no worries, everyone is different, as long as your doctor thinks things are healthy ... you're probably fine.

Kayme i dont think ur baby is growing slow. its just that everyone body is different. I think the baby is growing fine its just ur not showing right away.

Yes, but perhaps others have the same question(s), and by keeping some of these current.... we are helping others? No matter... :) we all just havin fun gabberin ... lol.

hi! i know how you are feeling, iam due in 4 weeks and you cant even tell iam pregnant my stomach just feels a "little" swollen, but iam not showing AT ALL, is there something wrong

Shayla i thought i was the only one going through that problem but i see now im not. I am 31 weeks 2days. 9 more weeks to go and still not showing much. is there any way u can talk to an obgyn online or something besides ur own local place
