Hey girls, well my belly b___ton is large and brown, more like just a brown spot on my huge tummy now. My 4 year old told me 'that's not a b___ton MOmmy,' and then he raised his shirt and showed me what a b___ton really was supposed to look like! It was too funny. As for the eating thing, I can't believe I was ever nauseous and couldn't keep things down now. Now I want everything! And the constipitation is driving me nuts. Anyone else?

I can't tell you how much less weird I feel about my belly b___ton : ) Glad I'm not the only one! Liz, consider yourself lucky you don't have that constant feeling. Aryanna - yes, I'm constipated as well. It's driving me nuts and I'm miserable. I've said this before... some people count their calories - I count my fiber grams! I try to eat about 30+ grams of fiber a day - well, the last 3-4 weeks, it's not doing me any good! I've tried Milk of Magnesia - doesn't work either! I'm open to any suggestions anyone has on this.... HAPPY BIRTHDAY, PATIENCE!

I have started drinking coffee in the morning, cause I heard that too. And I try to drink lots of water and a green tea every night. I've also heard flax seed oil might help so I might get some at the health food store soon. Oh and of course the usual eat lots of fruit and veggies...as if that is what we all want to eat!!

That's what usually keeps me regular - my one espresso every morning upon waking up! That's one thing I will never give up is that first cup of coffee in the morning... and it doesn't seem to be working the last few weeks! I blame my weight gain on my constipation... hahahaha. I'm so jealous Liz you slept through the night! I only got up 3 times in the middle of the night - that's a record for me ; ) I'll have to try that flax seed oil.

I was like - OH MY GOSH it's 6:30!!!!! Haha!!! I feel like a lot of the getting up is mental for me too...like 3 am on the dot I am awake and like...Oh I am sure i have to go it feels like it...and then I have nothing come out!

I'm down to 55 more days today, I can't wait til it's finally labor time!!! Dr. appt. tomorrow, so I'll keep you all posted- I wish they would just put me out of work already! Hey girls, Im still out walking but gaining weight like crazy. It feels like the babys head is right in my pelvis and it is getting very uncomfortable to be on my feet walking but I refuse to give it up unless the midwife tells me to. Seems like the last two weeks I cant stop eating and the scale is reflecting it so Im vowing as of today to stop the sugar binges and go for fruit instead. Lets see how far I get. As for the flax seed, be CAREFUL! I tried that before (mixed with granola) and I had severe stomach cramping and had to run to the bathroom every 30 mins for 2 days afterward. I steer clear of it now except in very small amounts.

Hi ladies! The appt yesterday went good! I was only measuring 25 weeks and I'm 30 weeks but the baby is measuring to date so she wasn't worried. Also I was right about him flipping she said shes sure his little head is "right there." No progress so things seem to be ok now. Still at a 2cm station 1, but she didn't tell me anything else, like effacement. I'm carrying around the medical record just in case tho. Happy birthday Paitence!!!! I can't stand the belly b___ton sensation, it drives me nuts!! Alexea loves poking me there and its just like GRR. As for the weight I lost a pound yesterday, but made up for it on the way home, oh yeah we had McDonalds, like 1 of everything!!! Haha, no not really but did have lunch with DH before heading home, its such a rare thing. I also posted new belly pix. lifeis1drful.piczo.com under Pregnancies and #2

Hi ladies! Britt- that is good about your appt. What have they said about you being 2cm? Have they said you need to take things easy or rest or anything? I can't remember! I know that it isn't good consolation but I am measuring smaller than my first PG too. And with my 1st pg I was measuring 30 weeks at 35 weeks. If you are tall that can have a lot to do with it! My little man came out a whopping 8lbs 10oz at 39 weeks so hopefully all will be just fine for you too! I know at my 28 week appt I was measuring 24 weeks (this time around) but he wanted to wait until I hit the 30s to see if I grow more...but all and all we have determined my 5'10 long torso is just they way I am carrying the babe...your belly looks so cute! Both with your 1st and 2nd Pg's!

Wow, yea I could understand where that would make sense with you being taller, I'm only 5'4'' haha! Alexea came out 6 lbs 9oz at 37 weeks. Both my mom and DH's mom had 6 to just shy of 8 pounders and all came by 38 weeks. So thats what I'm expecting, well using more as a guideline than what the "experts" say. Oh the midwife told me to just take it easy/rest and keep an eye on things.

Well you just take it easy and rest!!!! I thought Jacob would be smaller too! I was only 6lbs and my DH was 6'7 but both of us were 2-3 weeks early. I think this babe is going to be a little smaller (probably a girl!!) because I am even smaller!

Hi girls, I had an appointment today, im 32wks 4days and im up about 26 pounds. Bummer. But the good news is that everything still looks ok. My blood pressures up a bit but not too bad. I have another scan in 10 days when i hit 34wks and based on that theyre either going to do an elective c-sec at 37wks or let me go into labour naturally, so i cant wait to find out, i just want to know now. I feel so incredibly impatient to have this baby already!! On the other hand i havent been able to decorate the babys room yet, if you can believe it, we have to clear out the junk room, knock a wall down, redecorate and get it ready for him and i could be having him in like 4 weeks!! Cant believe im that close. That were all that close. My bump is ma__sive - the doc confirmed it today. He just took on look at me and said if he didnt know i was only in my 32nd wk hed think i was at my duedate already. All of this just fills me with dread about how much bigger il actually be by the end!! Congrats Ej on your sleep and your doughnut im jealous of both. I fell off the wagon this week and have eaten chocolate, icecream and sweeties galore, i must start afresh again tomorrow. Its just not good is it. Im still not sleeping and feel like a zombie...but im getting used to it now. Its only taken me about 5mths of the tossing and turning but im now accustomed to less than 4hrs sleep a night. I am totally prepared for this baby!! Ok well ive just wolfed down a whole bar of chocolate (but feel better because i just read that babies born to moms who regularly eat chocolate smile quicker than babies who didnt! ) What a great statistic!! x x x

You know I don't think I even know MissP or Patience names!! MissP that is AWESOME about the appt...I KNOW your att_tude is why all things are falling into place for you! Little man (Tyler or whoever he may be!!) is one lucky little guy to have you as a mommy! So anyone else feel like you ran into a brick wall? Seriously I am just exhausted and SOOOOOO sick of summer and I live in MN! ha! It's the humidity that is getting me. I think it was the 4 days of cool weather that got me and teased me!! :) Now this heat and humidity- I am OVER!!! I am ready for the apple orchard and changing leaves!! Ok there is my complaint...NOW- I will go lay in my bed, naked under a fan watching the olympics...ha- I will have clothes on! :) But I will be under a fan and watching the olympics!

Hey Miss P, I was just thinking about you today. Im glad everything is still going ok. I never posted my name but I didnt really want to because I have friends that read this board and they dont know everything that has gone on with me the last couple of months. It is supposed to get really cool here tomorrow, like a high of 60 so Im looking forward. to that. Im looking forward to fall too, but I think its because DH is going to be here for the holidays for the first time in 3 years!

I posted this on the labor thread, but figured I'd post here to to see what you girls think too:
Hi ladies! Just a little curious about epidurals. I've heard stories of both awesome experiences & nightmares w/ them. I am 28yrs. old & due in Oct. This is my 2nd baby. I had ds 9yrs. ago at 19yrs. old. I chose not to get the epi then. Now that I'm almost 10yrs. older w/ baby girl, I am starting to wonder if my body will be able to handle the labor like it did back then & leaning towards possibly getting the epi this time around, but still very wary of them. Please give me some opinions & advice! I'd like to hear both good experiences & bad to help me make a decision. Thank-you all so much.
