Ok, so not the most fun topic, but…….I’m starting to develop these ugly stretch marks on my br___ts (wouldn’t figure it, because they haven’t grown all that much). I’ve been using the Cocoa Butter lotion all along, but didn’t prevent it. I know the most important thing is that I am healthy and the baby is healthy and I am trying to shake this superficial stuff, but it’s difficult sometimes. Anyway, I guess I’m looking for advice from women dealing with these. Have you found anything that works? Did these really fade after birth? How have you learned to accept & love your new body? Thanks and healthy happy pregnancies to all!

You're lucky you got this far without them, hehe. The good news is, yes they fade. I got stretch marks on my b___sts in puberty, every time they grow, and also when I got pregnant. Each time they fade totally away-- I don't even have the silvery looking marks when they fade like I do with other places I have had stretchmarks. So don't worry! They'll go away and it'll all be good!

New Mommy - yes they fade and become barely noticeable-- but I heard it best and it might be corny but here it is - all of the changes in our bodies are just a sign of how much we love our husbands and children we bear as a result of that love. My husband has told me repeatedly when I was down about my body after giving birth - that I have never been more beautiful because he could never compare me to some celebrity or model because - those women have never loved him enough to allow their bodies to go through the changes brought on by childbirth to bear his children. That's love baby! Sorry to get all mushy but look at them like love scars instead of stretch marks! LOL sorry for being so corny...lol

cors1wfe – I think that’s a beautiful response and a healthy way to look at things. You have a wonderful husband! I am lucky to have a very supportive and loving husband, too. He is very rea__suring as well in that he loves me no matter what and he wishes that he could take on all of these pregnancy “perks” for me. Thank you very much for sharing!!

New mommy - he is very awesome - we just think they are ugly because we dont' look like Kate Hudson or some other skinny minny - dont' worry - once I got back down to my pre-pregnancy weight they were barely noticeable - don't worry love scars baby love scars! LOL

"Only one randomised controlled study has been published which claimed to test whether oils or creams prevent the development of stretchmarks. This study found a daily application of a cream (Trofolastin) containing Centella asiatica extract, vitamin E, and collagen-elastin hydrolysates was a__sociated with fewer stretch marks during pregnancy.[1][2] Another study, though lacking a placebo control, examined a cream (Verum) containing vitamin E, panthenol, hyaluronic acid, elastin and menthol. It was a__sociated with fewer stretch marks during pregnancy versus no treatment.[3]
Though cocoa b___ter is an effective moisturizer, no research studies have shown its ability to either prevent stretchmarks, or improve their appearance once a stretchmark has already formed." - Wikipedia
I've been using Skin Milk body cream and haven't had any stretch mark issues so far, and I'm predisposed to them. Not going to say it's all clear and good to go though until I've lost the baby weight.

People always say "Dont worry about the stretch marks they just show you love baby..etc etc" But i feel that even though you are pregnant and giving birth its nothing wrong with being concerned about how you look afterwards. I was concerned about this and i tried using the Palmers for Pregnant women cocoa b___ter and Bio oil. Im 36 wks and 5 days and i dont have any yet...they are really inexpensive and you can get both at cvs. Its ok that you are concious about that cause im sure you will feel like its all worth it in the end but you have to live with your body too so i understand :-) Im sure they will fade. Do you sleep in a sports bra? I do so that i can TRY to stop gravity's pull on the jugs lol. And i oil and lotion THROUGHOUT..and i dont scratch. GL and i hope this works out for you

Hi, I got stretch marks with my first child and let me tell ya, I did everything to try to prevent them. I was told that if your going to get them your going to get them but you can lube up to avoid getting them too bad. I was putting Palmers coco b___ter, Baby Magic oil lotion and Petrolium Jelly Lotion and all together. I think I prevented getting really bad but I still got alot all over my tummy, hips, b___st, and legs. Putting lotion on probably helped alot with the itchy feeling and helped my skin stretch better with out giving me too many stretch marks. After I had the kids my stretch marks faded and werent too noticeable. I did get some right above my belly b___ton so that spot looks weird and forever I was so insecure about wearing a 2 piece but I wore one anyways. Honestly, no one really cares and says anything at all. I think they know if they do notice. All I gotta say is I'm no model so if someone ever does say anything I just tell them I got 4 beautiful babies out of it so thats all that counts.

I kept lotioned up wsith cocoa b___ter from the day I found out I was preggers so far none on the belly and its out there but the b___bs are another story... looks like someone drew a ton of lines on em with a red sharpie. They havent gotten that much bigger and its mainly on one!!! WTF I know that they are expected but to be that uneven just b__ws my mind.... all for a good reason.
