Im 19 weeks along in an unplanned pregnancy, and somehow carrying quadruplets, though I wasnt taking anything to make me produce more eggs... I was wondering if this is a normal occurence, or if Im just really, really fertile or something... anybody who has a valid, truthful answer, I would love to hear it. Thanks.

That is not very common. What a rare surprise for you! How are you doing? Maybe you ovulate more than one egg each month. Have you been on birth control pills? That can do some funny things to the body. I think I heard that coming off birth control pill you might save up lots of eggs and then have a lot one month when you go off...

Hey rae, well I'm carrying triplets but i havent been taking anything either. I', notw 17 weeks along but i still cant believe it! have u got any history of multiples in your family?

Im 19 weeks with Twins that dont run in my family as far back as I have traced! Talk about suprising, I cried for days....(not expected)....I can only imagine how you are handling it. Its a wonderful miracle though! I think its normal. My OB told me the older you get the more eggs you release I have no clue why....congrats!
