7 Weeks Three Sacs One Baby Seen

I am seven weeks! Babies seen through va___al ultrasound only. Three sacs only seeing one baby that has grown from last week. the other two sacs have gotten bigger but no baby in them?? I am bleeding alot but they say my levels are rising and my cervix is closed!! I am very unsure of anything right now!! What the heck is going on. I have no idea!!!! please someone help me???

Are the sacs measuring at seven weeks? Is this from IVF? If not, the babies could have implanted later but if they are measuring 6 weeks or bigger, it is very possible the beginnings of VTS (vanishing twin syndrome). I had VTS once, my cervix was closed yet I was still bleeding.

It sounds like you have 2 blighted ovums. They will be absorbed at some point during the first trimester. You may or may not have any bleeding and your cervix will probably remain closed. I lost the fourth sac in the beginning of my triplet pregnancy and bled a lot.

I am so glad to here you say that. They said they thought I had two blighted ovums. Only problem is the sacs that are empty have gotten slightly bigger over the past week. I go back agin next week and am hoping that they will dissapear! This was not a case of IVF, that is what is crazy. I am 29 years old and everyone keeps asking me about IVF. Nope it is all natural! I do have alot of bleeding, but they confirmed my cervix is closed!

Yep, if that is the case, your body will absorb it and it usually happens quickly. Your body just needs to realize that the other sacs are empty. Once that happens, it absorbs that sacs and there will be no risk to your little one that is doing just fine.

Thanks for the encouraging words! I have just been so worried! It really consumes every minute of my day. But I love this forum, I have met so many nice women with so much love and encourgement for someone they don't even know. I feel like coming here shows that people in this world are good people and that you can have compa__sion for someone you never met, now if we can spread that compa__sion the world would be a better place. Thanks to all you wonderful strong women who have helped me.

The reason your 2 empty sacs are still growing is because of all the hormones your viable baby is producing. The empty sacs don't quite know that they're empty yet. It may take a few weeks, but they WILL reabsorb. Good luck and congrats on your baby!

But I am still bleeding like crazy!! But baby is still fine! I have no idea what is going on??? Who bleeds like this when they are prego??? Hard to believe it can be ok. Maybe body is getting rid of other sacs?? Where else could blood be coming from??

aww, i hope by your next ultrascan that they find something in the sacs! that would be a lovely surprise for you! your so lucky your pregnant. i really want a baby. but i'm only 19 so.... :(

i wanted to ask the moms, even though the sacs are empty now, does it still mean that at the start there were babies in them that "died"? or can sacs form without having a fertilized egg in them? a sac in little a "bag" (sorry can't think of a better word!) that the baby lives in while inside the uterus right? it has nothing to do with an actual individual baby yeh? how does it form then?

An egg has to be fertilized for a sac to form but it does not mean the egg or sperm were good. And if you are 19 you should have a baby after you get married and start a carreer. Unless you already have. Not to judge, but being a single mother is no fun. You are only 19, go have fun a nd live your life!! When i was your age I was living it up with my friends... why are you on here looking at baby information??? Go be 19...

i have a boyfriend for 4 years who i will marry in a couple of years so i dont need to do all crazy stuff. i'm so happy with him and he wants a baby too, i will wait till i'm about 23. im almost 20 now.

yeh i'm not having one now because of the money issue. i want to finish college and get a proper job. my boyfriend will stay with me, he said we'd keep any baby that we made even by mistake so thats good, but he wants to plan to have a baby aswell so he wouldnt be a guy that would run away after finding out. he's a darling. we're so in love!! when im 23 i will have one! that will be when we are 7 years together and im sure we will be engaged by that stage!

I had A LOT of bleeding during the first trimester. I bled everyday (like a period) from 5 weeks to 13 weeks. UGGHH! Yuck. I was also on a blood thinner so that attributed to some of the bleeding and to the bright red color. Some women just bleed. :( If you notice any clots or tissue or cramping please call your doctor. Good luck!

See i do see clots and tissue I have been for a week but baby is still ok. This bleeding can't be normal??
