I never had a period after my twin boys were born last December. I just found out by HPT this morning that I am pregnant again. Is this crazy? I am pretty sure that I am very early in the pregnancy, so I have a feeling my babies will end up being about 15-16 months apart. I feel like I am the only person in the world this had happened to, but I know that is not true. How will I manage with infant twins and a new baby. (Assuming it is only one baby) Anyone out there had a similar experience?

Hi. I understand your worries. I am currently 12 weeks pregnant with twins and have a nine month old dd. She will be 15 months when these 2 are born if they come on there due date. I do think about the chaos that is to come but most of all I'm excited. My DD is an awful sleeper, and 3 babies in nappies is daunting but I'm so excited its unreal. Hopefully taking 1 day at a time will help. Do you have family or friends that can help? It is going to be hard and exhausting but I'm sure the uptimes will outweight the down. Good luck to you and you babiesxxx

It is nice to hear that someone else can go through this with me! I almost think I may have it easier than you, as I know what it is like to have twins, so one baby will seem easier to me. Here is my advice on twins: SCHEDULE! When one wakes up to eat, you MUST wake the other one and feed it at the same time. My boys are 9 months and I feed them every meal at the same time - they are hungry at the same time and it is pretty easy!!!!

heychristina...you're right about the feeding schedual thing. My twins are now 16wks old & I always feed them at the same time. They are even starting to wake up together now! Great advice, I would love to hear if you havea anymore. Good luck to you with your pregnancy!
