Hi there,
I was on Bravelle for 9 days and took a HCG last night. I went in for my first IUI this morning. I was able to only develop 1 mature follicle. I was so disappointed to find out that my follicles are growing so slow and responding so slow to the medication. The Dr was expecting at least 3 mature follicles. But since we only have one this cycle, she didn't want to waste the opportunity. I'm actually suppose to return tomorrow for another round of IUI, but we opted to have intercourse instead.
I've read other women's experiences with Bravelle and a lot of them were able to produce 3-7 mature follicles on Bravelle if not more. I was only able to produce 1.
Just curious, what are my chances of twins with one mature follicle? I know my chances increase when I produce more follicles. And what are the success rates of pregnancy on the first try with IUI?
Also, I'm breaking out like crazy on my face from all the injectables. I feel like a teenager all over again! Anyone taking Bravelle have also experience this? What can I do about the breakouts?
I'm a newbie to fertility treatment. Please bare with me.
