I don't know what to think about that. Maybe if I did see it I would be able to see exactly what you are talking about. My opinion if you saw a baby then it probably was. Have you thought about calling a pregnancy crisis center or something like that to see if you can get another ultrasound - and another opinion.

Brooke- I did think about making up some excuse for my doc to have to give me another, but I don't really want him to think I am crazy..lol!!! Thanks anyway.

Well Cheryl in my honest opinion, it looks to me that it could be another baby. You should really call the doctor and have him double check or get a second opinion. It really do look likes two babies!!!!!

Symphany- Thanks for your opinion. I really appreciate it! I did call my doc's office and asked the nurse to look at my chart(doc keeps a copy of u/s for the chart) and give me her opinion as well. She agrees that it looks like 2 babies but the doc doesn't. He said it is probably not. I don't totally trust my docs opinion because he told me twice that I was having a girl with my last pregnancy, and I had a boy. His machine is old, at least ten years old because that is how long I have been going to him and hes always had it! I think I guess I will have to wait until my next appt to see. Thanks again!

Your quite welcome! I never heard of a doctor in denial......isn't that what moms to be go through when they actually do find out that it is more than one child. Your doctor sounds like he is in denial. Who knows he was wrong once before, so he might be wrong this time as well. All I can say is trust your instincts.

Symphany- My instincts do and have been telling me that something was different about this pregnancy than with my other 5 pregnancies. I am not sure though because when I was pregnant with my 4th baby, I thought for sure it was twins because I was soooo sick and tired with him. I was wrong though. This time I'm not sure exactly what it is, but it feels very different than the others. I will just have to wait and see. The weird thing is, is that my grandma called me the day after I had my u/s, before anyone knew I had it done, and asked me if they saw 2 baby's. I asked her why, and she just said she had a feeling it could be. Then after that, my sis called me and told me she had a dream someone had twins. Maybe just coincidence, but very interesting! Who knows, I guess we will see. We haven't had twins in like 6 or 7 generations. If I am, it's going to be very hard for me, since I already have 5 children,but it will be an interesting experience. As far as my doc goes, I think he's probably just scared I will be upset at him because he kept postponing my tubal ligation! I was supposed to have it done earlier this year, but everytime we were ready to make it happen, something came up. Oh well, I am not upset, I believe baby's are blessings, and if it is meant to be, it will be!

To Cheryl- Well I will definetley keep you in my prayers! Just think god will never give you to more than you can handle. Like I said before.....Only you know your body, so make sure you get your doctor to give you another u/s to make sure. You will surely have to get ready for the twins well in advance and you shouldn't have to wait to find out....that's my opinion of the situation! I would be going crazy right about now, if that were me! Keep your head up. Make sure you keep me posted. Good Luck!!!!!!!!
