Cervical Cerclage With Twins

I had a cervical cerclage put in at week 13 because of a cone biopsy that left me with a week cervic. I was told by doctor not to have s_x while i have the serclage but i'm not sure if it's because of the stimulation or because it might rip the cerclage. I also have a yeast infection and not sure if i should use monistat to releave it. can anyone give me some advice
