Hello all, I am 24 weeks pregnant with fraternal twin boys. I went at 20 weeks for my cervical length which was 3.7 cm. I went this week (24 weeks) again and it was 2.7 cm. They put me on modified bed rest and sent me for blood work, which came back negative for preclampsia. They checked my cervix and it isn't dilating just shortening. Did anyone else have this problem with their cervix? I am just a little scared. Thanks.

At 24wks as weel I found out that my cervix had shortened. At that time it was only 1.2cm. Istayed on total bedrest for 11wks & delivered my twins on June 14. They were 34wks6days. On the Friday before delivery my cervix was 7mm. Just take it easy & listen to your doctors & all will be fine. Don't try to do anything!!! My hubby was great about taking over the household stuff.
