Clomid Multiples Questions

Hello, everyone! I'm new to the forum and new to Clomid (I'll start it in a little over a week). A little about my history - I have two children, conceived naturally and easily (my youngest is 5) and we've been trying for a third child for over a year - becoming more than a little disconcerted that I lost the Fertile Myrtle status. My doctor did a test at my most recent checkup yesterday and discovered that I have low progesterone - I am ovulating, I apparently just need more of a push in the right direction. He decided to start me on 50 mgs of Clomid (3-7) starting with my next cycle. I've been researching Clomid like crazy to try and be as informed as possible. He did tell me twins were a possibility (and as far as family history, twins/triplets do run on the maternal side of my family, but none in recent generations - the triplets were naturally conceived by a distant cousin 20 years ago, so those are unlikely and the twins were all in the grandparents/great-grandparents generations) but higher multiples were not. My boys are old enough that the idea of twins doesn't send me into an instant panic, but I am curious if anyone knows the percentages involved. I've heard the generic 10% increase with the use of the drug, but is that for the 3-7 days or 5-9? Or is it equal for both? I'm planning on using pre-seed for the first time (I've been debating it for the last 6 months and figured with this new development, I may as well do it right) and I've heard that pre-seed can help with getting pregnant, but has no relation to multiples. Any advice or similar experiences would be helpful. I'm not one of these women intentionally trying to get pregnant with multiples - I just like to be very informed before trying anything - much less something this important in relation to my family and my own body.
