I got pregnant with a singleton 5 years ago while taking clomid 50mg days 5-9. 3 years after that I took 1 50mg cycle and nothing happened. I then moved up to 100mg and ended up getting pregnant with triplets!!! I delivered them at 34 weeks. Two boys and one girl: Brandon, Brayden and Brittany. They are almost 3 now, my first singleton baby is a girl named Bethany Grace. They are all my little angels.

Wow, you are a blessed momma! I haven't decided if I'm going to try clomid or just go for yams/vitamin supplements and hope for the best. My doctor said clomid has risks and that I should do a ton of reserch before bringing the subject up again.

I got pregnant while taking clomid 100mg, days 1-5, and got pregnant with quads. (none were identical) I only have 1 fallopian tube. My quads are now 4 yrs. old.... 3 boys, 1 girl.

what risks did the doc say about clomid? Mine put me on 100mg for 5 days and never said boo about risks. I had a bit of hot flashes at night but not bad at all since I'm usually cold.

I got pregnant my second month taking Clomid, 50mg days 5-9. I had not been ovulating before. I am expecting only one baby in a couple of months, and twins do run in my family. I experienced hot flashes really bad for the first two weeks of each Clomid cycle. That was my only side effect. I was very nervous to take the Clomid, but it was completely worth it since I am now having a baby!

I think the side effects Heathers doc was referring to is cysts, polyps, infertility, and in some cases cancer, to name a few. Hyperstimulating a normally working ovary can do many a nasty thing. Not all the time, but they ARE doc_mented side effects. I was on 50mg days 5-9. Did 4 cycles, and at one point had 7 follicles, all released. Finally got pregnant with my daughter, who is 1.
