Hello,
I am about 34 weeks along with twins. For those of you who have already had twins, how early did you deliver. My due date is 2/27, but everyone keeps telling me to be ready at the beginning of Feb. I am still working, and my boss keeps asking me when my last day is, but I am not sure what to tell him.. thanks!

Congrats on your twins! I ended up being induced at 38 weeks, 1 day because I was physically exhausted. It sounds like you're doing well if you're able to keep working. Are you planning a v____al birth or c-section? If c-section, you can give him the date, if v____al then maybe you can ask your Dr. what is the furthest he'll have you go in your pregnancy and give him that info. With my first pregnancy I worked for a man that didn't quite understand that you can't plan labor and delivery. He constantly asked me when I would start my maternity leave and never could grasp the concept that it could be after my due date if the baby hadn't decided to come. Good luck and it sounds like you're doing a great job taking care of those little angels.

Wow! You are still working. They suggest at 24wks to stop working with twins. But I would stop working ASAP because babies, one or more take a lot of energy and you want to rest before hand while you can. I had my twins at 40 wks on their due date. My doctor wanted to induce at 38wks but I refused. So, I scheduled it on the day after their due date but I went into labor on my due date. I was worth it, no problems with the babies what so ever. They were girls and 6lb9oz and 7lb4oz 19.5in. Don't let your doctor pressure you into having them early unless, you are having health issues. I had a 1.5 year old when the girls was born, so that was my job keeping him entertained, and keeping the girls in by doing as little as possible. Good luck! I am sure you will be fine. Just 2 weeks until they are considered full-term for twins.
